“We are facing #genocide #extermination. We built this nation, we sacrificed for it, and we never once thought of separating from #Syria. For 21 days, we have suffered a severe #siege at the hands of our so-called compatriots, and we do not know why.”

She added:

“#Aid is not reaching us. #Premature babies died in #hospitals after the #power was cut. #Fuel was delivered to #bakeries but was insufficient, and when it ran out, a small amount of #flour was brought in—as if to pretend that #essentials are being provided—while #electricity remains blocked, preventing any real relief.”

Dr. Al-Saleh further explained:

“#InfantIncubators have stopped working, #corpses are decomposing because the #morgue refrigerators are out of service, #water is so scarce that people share a single bucket, and 1,500 #cancer patients are left without treatment while the #Damascus road—Suwayda’s lifeline—remains closed.”

She also pointed out that:

“#Checkpoints are blocking #aid under the #pretext of waiting for the approval of #AhmadDalati, the head of #PublicSecurity, who does not answer his phone. This #pretext is being used to deprive #civilians of #medicine and #food.”

Finally, she stressed:

“The people of #Suwayda are facing a systematic genocide #war of #extermination, hidden from the #media. A #baby girl was slaughtered on her mother’s chest, and they told her: ‘We will not kill you; we will let you suffer.’”

Dr. Al-Saleh called for:

“Opening a #HumanitarianCorridor through #Jordan to allow the entry of #food and #fuel and the evacuation of #patients in need of urgent #medicalcare.”

“Engineer #GhadaAlShaarani stated that with the escalation of #violations, thousands of families were forced to flee from the western and southern countryside villages toward the city of #Suwayda, escaping #shelling, #fires, and #looting. However, this #displacement occurred under catastrophic conditions, as families left without taking any #food supplies or even a single grain of #wheat after #silos and #storage facilities were burned and properties looted.

She explained that this sudden #displacement “worsened the situation inside the city, which has become unable to provide #food or #shelter for the displaced. It is well known that #villagers store enough provisions for an entire year, but these groups burned them, further increasing pressure on the city.”

She also highlighted the direct #violations against the #NationalHospital in #Suwayda, which included “#shelling with #mortars and #heavyweapons, killing several #patients, the injured, and #medicalstaff, and the accumulation of #corpses due to #morgue refrigerators being out of service after the #poweroutage—leading to decomposition and the spread of foul odors, raising fears of #epidemics.”

She confirmed that #hospitals in #Shahba and #Salkhad have also been severely affected amid an acute shortage of #medicine and #medicalsupplies caused by the #blockade on aid from #Damascus, warning of the severe consequences of the #economic blockade.

Additionally, she pointed out that “the #blockade on #fuel and #essentialgoods has paralyzed #waterpumps, caused #waterscarcity in homes and public facilities, crippled #communications to the point that even family members lose contact with each other, disrupted #transportation and #fooddistribution, and collapsed the operational capacity of #hospitals and #bakeries.”
