Dozens of residents from Al-Qurayya in southern As-Suwayda gathered today, Aug 6, in front of Sultan Basha Al-Atrash’s memorial in a protest against the transitional government.

They condemned the massacres committed by the de facto authority and its supporters led by Al-Jolani, demanding an end to the siege on the province, the withdrawal of all forces from the affected villages, and the opening of humanitarian crossings.

Protesters also called for stopping violations, allowing displaced residents to return, and securing the areas to bury the victims of the recent attacks.
