Mr. Abdul Razzaq Hababa (65 years old) was abducted on 15/9/2025 from the center of Zaidal. Armed Jihadists members of the terrorist de facto authorities forced him at gunpoint to step out of his car, placed him into a pickup truck belonging to them, and took him in the direction of Deir Baalba, north of Homs.

It is worth noting that Mr. Hababa is a Syrian Christian from the village of Zaidal and also holds U.S. citizenship.

Less than 24 hours later, he was released following the intervention of the U.S. envoy to Syria. He was left in the village of Kafr Abed in eastern Homs countryside.
