Anyone following our Reims tip? I'm just doing a simple $10,000 flat stake on all of Reims' Ligue 1 matches for the second half of the season.

So far 1 out of 1. 18 more match-days to go.

Weekend Plans 👌
Small adjustment to my "Reims Strategy" for the next 2 matches.

Instead of 10k flat stake - I'm doing 13k for tomorrow's Metz game. Since next weekend Reims is facing PSG with ultra high odds (will probably do 7k then).

After that, will resume 10k flat staking for the rest of the season. 👍
21 draws from 55 picks so far this year (38%).

Jan 2022 results

Gonna be a SPLENDID year ahead! We're just getting started. 💊
*TIME TO GET SERIOUS*

Two years of this BS pandemic and one war in Ukraine later, it's become crystal clear to me.

⚠ïļWe are all just pawns in the game for the elites to play with. The elites do not care about *you*.

Nobody does. So it's up to yourself to get your life together.

ðŸšĐThe lives of the wealthy elite have only gotten better over the past 2 years. Covid and Wars don't affect them when they are living in their mansions in Dubai while you're stuck in your home, needing permission from your government when you are allowed to leave your home as full-grown adults.

ðŸšĐBoris Johnson can have his wine parties every Friday while he tells you to mask up and stay home.

ðŸšĐAble bodied men are BANNED from fleeing the warzone. If you have a private jet, you and your family are safe.

The lives of the wealthy and the political elite keep getting better every year, unaffected by crises (just check out how much the net worths of the richest men have grown in the past 2 years)... while the average person's gets worse because it remains stagnant.

To stay in the same spot is to decline tremendously in relative terms.

You are on your own now. Only you can change your own life now.

One Choice: Either climb into the ranks of the rich or remain average and get played by the top.

⚃Become wealthy and your options open up. Money literally buys freedom. You will not be at the mercy of any one government again.

If you work one location-dependent job in your country, it's time to consider the worst case scenarios. Gotta get a second source of income that is preferably location-indepedent and cannot be controlled by any government.

I don't care what you do. You can bet on draws with us or you can find something else to do. Just start something. Time is running out.

✅✅Once you make your own money as an independent person...

Country behaving like Australia and China with endless lockdowns? FORCING you to wear a MASK for the next 10 years like a bloody clown? You can fly off and live anywhere in the world. 💊

Government BANNING you from leaving the country? You can purchase a second passport from one of the Caribbean nations for a low 6-figure price as a backup plan. 💊

(Hint: St Lucia citizenship can be purchased at ~110k USD for a single person or ~175k USD for a family of four, inclusive of admin fees. Not a bad option at all, they have visa-free access to almost 150 countries.)

✅✅✅Crisis = Opportunity. Pay attention to what is happening so you don't let this go to waste.
First week of March - 10 draws from 25 picks.

Fight for your freedom (the right way) now ⮇ïļ

Last weekend: Chose the right day to increase my flat stake to $15,000 for the Reims strategy. 11 more match-days till end of the French Ligue season!
The moment when I was contemplating whether to increase my flat stake to 12k or 15k. Small decisions like that should be made in 7 mins or less. Otherwise, Not Gonna Make It. 😘
P/S: Big Congrats to our new members who have been joining Team Diego this month.

*Mid-Season Managerial Changes - Interesting Draws Observations*

I've been studying this topic more closely, especially in the major leagues. Because the market odds are slow to adjust when a team changes manager mid-season that can cause a drastic change in their performances.

Some examples I can think of just from this season.

1) Genoa (Italian Serie A)

They are actually on their 4th manager (including caretaker) this season. Here's a breakdown of their results for each manager.

1st manager - 6 draws in 12 games

2nd manager - 3 draws in 9 games

Caretaker - 0 draw in 1 game

Current manager - 7 draws in 7 games

Yes, that's right. The latest manager has drawn his first 7 matches in charge. And counting... Odds are slow to react to the change in their playing style so you can get crazy high draw odds.

Got a feeling this streak will end soon as they have to get their first home win of the season soon. Maybe the next game against Torino.

2) Manchester United (EPL)

Since the interim manager took over, we have observed an increase in draws. A while back, I saw an interview with Ralf Rangnick where he said they needed "2 points per game on average" to finish in the top 4.

Personally my own calculations suggest it might not be quite enough to finish in the top 4.

But looking at the remaining fixtures and getting into the head of Rangnick, it wouldn't be too surprising if his strategy for the remainder of the season is to try to win their remaining Home games while avoiding defeats (i.e. draw) in their remaining Away games to get an average of 2 points per game.

3) Getafe (Spanish La Liga)

The mid-season change in manager might have just saved Getafe from relegation after a disastrous start to the season initially.

However their Home vs Away form can't be more different under the new manager.

Let's see how they have performed in the 20 games he has taken charge (10 home & 10 away) -

Home: W6, D3, L1
Away: W0, D6, L4

Unlike Genoa where drawing the remaining games for the rest of the season is unlikely to save them from relegation, Getafe's way of not losing at home and drawing their away games should be sufficient to do the job and win them survival.

4) Valencia (Spanish La Liga)

In terms of managerial changes, Valencia has been one of the most active - changing coaches like nobody's business under their owner Peter Lim.

While draws have been a consistent aspect in Valencia's results throughout the years, a closer look gives us something interesting.

Valencia has slowly transformed into a high-scoring and high-conceding team. Just look at their average goals per game in La Liga in the past 4 seasons.

18/19 - 2.26 (15th in league)
19/20 - 2.61 (8th in league)
20/21 - 2.71 (5th in league)
Current Season - 3.00 (4th in league)

Even though they are currently 4th in La Liga in terms of average goals per game, the 3 teams above them are either "high scoring only" or "high conceding only". Valencia is both.

That's why I've been trying out a new strategy for teams like Valencia. Idea is to place 2 bets that hedge each other - a small bet (e.g. $2400) on "Correct Score 0-0" and a larger bet (e.g. $7600) on "Both Team To Score".

Stakes are done in a way where either outcome will give me the same amount of profit.

This is for teams with decent amount of draws and yet are high-scoring/high-conceding (as opposed to the usual low-scoring draw specialists).

5) Bordeaux (French Ligue 1)

Bordeaux fired their manager after they lost to Reims 5-0 last month. In a twist of fate, they hired David Guion as replacement.

David Guion is the man who coached Reims from their promotion to Ligue 1 until last season (guiding Reims to be the team with most draws in Ligue 1 every season for the past 3 years).

So far Guion has 2 draws from 4 matches in charge. Hilarious - because before Guion came, their last 9 games were drawless.

(post continues below)
(continued from above)

BONUS: Reims (French Ligue 1)

Talking about Reims, what happens when you change the manager who led you to become the team with the most draws for 3 straight seasons? You hire a new manager with a history of draws himself. Lol.

Enter Oscar Garcia. Before taking over Reims this season, this guy has a history of draws with the previous teams he managed. Most recently with Celta Vigo. Since Celta fired him in the middle of last season, you wouldn't know by looking at the league table because their draws stopped once the manager was replaced.

Before Oscar Garcia was fired at Celta, his final 10 games were:

W1, D5, L4.

But since he was fired midway through the season, let's look at his final 10 matches at the end of the season before that. His record?

W2, D5, L3.

Coincidentally, Reims' final 10 games last season (with their previous manager) were...

W1, D5, L4.

Coincidentally, Reims was also in 12th place at this point last season with almost identical number of points (after 28 games played).

Will they repeat their end of season draw streak, with a new manager this time?

Coincidentally, if Oscar Garcia gets 5 draws in their final 10 games of the season, he would finish his first season in charge of Reims with 17 draws (including 1 cup draw). Which was exactly what he got with Celta after 1 year of managing them (but that was spanning across 2 seasons).

Reims has drawn 40% of their Ligue 1 games over the past 4 years (53/132).

No team in the 6 major European leagues comes close to this level of consistency.

Note: Valencia is at 35% (50/142) while Ath Bilbao is at 34.5% (49/142) over past 4 seasons.

However, if we judge the golden standard for consistency as "having at least one-third league draws every season" i.e. 13 draws out of a 38-match season, Valencia and Bilbao both narrowly missed out in the 2019/2020 season (thus giving you a small loss if backing them with flat stake to draw throughout that season, yeah that strange season where covid messed up everything).

P/S: See previous post on Reims here - https://t.me/teamdiego/946
Those who executed on our previous posts would have profited beautifully. We said Genoa was likely to end their crazy draw steak and get their first home win against Torino.

Getafe also continue their draws away from home.

Odds have been slow to adjust to mid-season managerial changes - as such, Genoa and Getafe are still stubbornly being priced as underdogs despite improving greatly under new managers.
