First of all - developers must be involved to the product development, and good approaches, practices and processes in a teamwork must to help them to reach the goals. So as a team-lead I always prefer to give to candidates a one week (probation test period) to show themselves, their skills on real work, on real tasks, to get involve and to give them a chance to feel themselves a part of a team, and to give them feel deeply of how do they could fit into the teamwork processes, how the corporate culture suits to them, rather than get involved to toxic and stressful interviews processes. And this approach just works fine for the most of candidates - they've been a good part of a team, integrated in a team fast, and growing up fast as a developers!

Zero-cost HKT in Rust

This article propose the use of a quantified class constraints as an extension to type classes and as a solution to provide statically-sized and therefore statically compiled, and thus zero-cost (i.e. without run-time dynamic dispatching of types) higher-kinded types (HKT) in Rust!

Libra и начало глобальной корпорации.

Я могу рассказать многое, т.к. с 2017 года работал разработчиком удалённо (ещё за долго до того как это стало мэйнстримом - удалённая коллаборация, блок-чейн и до того как проект ещё обрёл текущее название и свои текущие формы и вектор развития) в проекте Facebook Libra (https://github.com/libra/libra), на достаточно высоком уровне, как дистанционный инженер инфраструктуры (DevOps) и Rust разработчик (типобезопасный системный язык на котором создавалась Libra).
Libra создавалась как движок для хранения и обмена цифровыми активами и ценностями, но в итоге была предпринята попытка продвинуть её как средство замены фиатных денег и создания сети оцифрованных фиатных валют для всех государств, для начала доллара США.
В июле (17-го) 2019 года в комитете по финансовым услугам (House Financial Services Committee) прошли слушания по принятию Libra - тогда Facebook окружали неприятные истории, утечки данных пользователей, манипулирование выдачей информации при поиске.
Конгрессмен Ригглман на слушаниях тогда задал весьма внятные и чёткие вопросы (при том он был очень хорошо подготовлен и задал весьма тонкие и специфичные с технической точки зрения вопросы - например про безопасность и использование nightly/unstable ветки компилятора Rust и unsafe кода на Rust и в crates/зависимостях, используемых в коде проекта Libra) топ-менеджеру проекта в Facebook - https://youtube.com/watch?v=h4aPp3wGufY&t=3h34m26s
Все эти факты сыграли в пользу не одобрения этого проекта для применения в сфере финансов официально.
В октябре (23-го) прошли слушания в конгрессе с Марком в защиту Libra. После чего проект был окончательно отвергнут конгрессом и FB стал выделять его в отдельную компанию.
В декабре 2019 после официальных слушаний в конгрессе и слушаний в палате комитета по финансовым сервисам конгресса, как раз по поводу внедрения Libra на уровне государства (фактически как цифровой аналог ФРС - это была голубая мечта маньяков в топ-менеджменте корпорации), я узнал для каких целей создаётся вообще проект и узнал от других разработчиков много информации не совместимой с моим внутренним моральным кодексом и компасом.
Тогда многие покинули инфраструктурные проекты и компанию и дали себе слово работать над развитием децентрализованной цифровой экономики не ангажированной и не спонсируемой такими крупными компаниями или государствами, и никогда больше не работать над продуктами в составе гигантских корпораций зла (после Мистера Робота все ребята называли их обобщённо e-corp =)
В декабре 2019 было явное гнетущее чувство, что дальше возможно произойдёт что-то ужасное и подобные разработки не будут применяться во благо.
В марте сами знаете что началось - Great Reset экономики, коронакризис и возврат всех денег обратно крупнейшим держателям фиатных активов (корпорациям и миллиардерам) и должны стать ключевым фактором внедрения и применения подобных разработок на уровне государств и отдельных корпораций.
Сейчас мы видим чёткий нарратив в новостях и публикациях - цифровой доллар, юань, рубль, и т.д.
Но подобные технологии сопровождения контролируемых чейнов подходят не только для валютных операций, но и вообще для иммутабельного хранения любых ценностей (digital assets) - вспомните в связи с этим стратегию и программу ID2020 (id2020.org), т.е. цифровая идентичность и операции с ней могут также храниться и обрабатываться в блок-чейне.
Все эти технологии не будут во благо.

PS: Проект Libra был недавно переименован в Diem, но суть от этого не меняется.

Сейчас с ростом курса Bitcoin многие думают, что же будет дальше и чего ожидать.
Но я прошу обратить внимание на один факт - найдите график валютной эмиссии ФРС и наложите его на график роста курса BTC/USD и всё станет ясно, что ждать дальше. Bitcoin имеет спекулятивную ценность только в рамках текущей финансовой системы. Чем больше эмитируется/печатается USD, тем больше стоимость BTC. Но должна быть ценность и доверие другого порядка - в первую очередь любая валюта это средство обмена ресурсами (энергетическими и временными главным образом).

Когда дым от Great Reset, продвигаемого теневой элитой, рассеится - останутся зависимые (корпоративные и государственные токены) и свободные децентрализованные криптовалюты для людей. Чтобы сбросить оковы старого миропорядка и навязываемого new world order всем людям предстоит выбор, продолжать доверять зависимым (и манипулируемым) мнимым ценностям или выбрать свободные финансовые инструменты.

Криптоэкономика - единственный ответ глобализму и капитализму, текущей банковской системе которая бережёт бедность людей и всё больше ограничивает свободы.
И это не какие-нибудь проекты типа Libra от FB, государственные или банковские корпоративные чейны, а именно открытые доступные для всех децентрализованные чейны и сервисы на их базе.
