The Government of the Republic of Armenia approved a procedure to support IT companies who suffered due to USD rate decline. The purpose of the assistance is to help the beneficiaries to reshape their businesses to stay competitive and sustainable in the changed conditions.
The deadline for the submission of support program application is 1 February 2023. The beneficiaries will receive the funds within four months after applying, with four equal tranches, with the maximum amount of 400 million Armenian drams for each beneficiary.

The Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia just announced that at today’s session, Government of Armenia approved a 3 year contract with Plug and Play Tech Center accelerator! The long-term collaboration with Plug and Play aims to ensure stable growth and development of Armenia’s startup ecosystem. Over the next three years, Plug and Play will establish a permanent branch in Armenia to run incubation, pre-acceleration, and acceleration programs, paving the way for our innovators to compete globally.

The Minister of Hight-Tech Industry of Armenia announced the official launch of the AI Virtual Institute in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Mistral AI. The AI Virtual Institute is an initiative of the Ministry to encourage open innovation, empower AI innovators, founders, researchers, and tech builders.
The contribution of AWS and Mistal AI will be as follows:
- AWS: technical expertise of AWS Solutions Architects, training resources, and best practices
- Mistral AI: Access to Mistral's AI platform, free access to APIs for selected laureates.
For the selected startups and researchers, the Institute will provide an AI marketplace and tailored support to increase exposure and bring their solutions to markets.
