Unrestricted sociosexuality belongs to the Fast Life History genetic package; it is influenced by and clusters with heritable traits such as psychopathy, narcissism, impulsivity, and lower executive function.

However, it is also modulated by cultural influences. For example, in our era, the influence of feminism (promoting female "liberation" through unrestricted sex) or Tinder (facilitating "hookups") can tip people toward unrestricted sociosexuality who otherwise may not have been predisposed to such behavior.

From this, we get the phenomenon of women who have a brief "hoe phase" and then decide that they hate all men or make false rape accusations. In actuality, many of these women hate themselves for engaging in such disgusting acts, but women are never responsible for their own poor decisions.

I'm skeptical of the trope that women become sluts because they "enjoy sex" and have an unquenchable thirst for cock. Maybe this is true for a minority of sluts, but I doubt it applies to the average slut.

Women have very low rates of orgasm during "hookups" (which is evidence that they aren't even good at what they do) and they always complain that one-night stand sex is bad.

If they really "enjoyed sex," they would get married or at least find a stable long-term relationship, since this results in higher sexual satisfaction than random hookups and flings. This isn't arcane wisdom accessible only through obscure scientific research; it's pretty intuitive.

I think it's more likely that they become sluts because they're dumb and impulsive, and/or because they're conformist and easily influenced by noxious cultural trends, and/or because they're mentally ill for whatever reason (e.g. trauma stemming from childhood abuse). Perhaps these negative traits prevent them from holding down a long-term relationship?

To clarify: the type of axis scaling (logarithmic) that was dishonestly used on this graph is intended for data that has a colossal range in values, e.g. exponential growth. A magnitude 10 earthquake releases 1 trillion times more energy than a magnitude 2 earthquake. Obviously, you can't plot that on a linear scale.

Somebody would only use logarithmic scaling for data with a low range of values if they wanted to warp the results and bamboozle people who didn't know any better. In this case, it was used to minimize the criminal overrepresentation of third world migrants.

Does geriatric pregnancy producer higher IQ children?

No, obviously not. This association is genetically confounded. More intelligent mothers currently delay pregnancy for cultural reasons.

As per this study's results, advanced maternal age may be more harmful to children's intelligence than advanced paternal age, which is commonly associated with decreased offspring IQ.

The degree to which these associations are causal varies significantly between traits, and there is much debate on correlation vs. causation in academic literature on this topic.

For example, paternal age correlates with decreased offspring IQ, but this study found that the association almost disappears when controlling for genetic confounding (-2.6/+1.6 IQ points per decade rise in paternal age, averaging to -0.6).

For monogenic disorders associated with the PAE (which result from a single gene variant), an important causal mechanism is the accumulation of de novo mutations in sperm, approximately 1-2 per year of paternal age.

The majority of de novo mutations have little to no detectable impact on an individual's phenotype, but some can be harmful, others beneficial. Single nucleotide variants (dnSNVs), which affect a single DNA building block, are the most common form.
