The Baby Boom demonstrates that a reduction in women's wealth/status relative to men's results in higher fertility.
The TFR increase (which raised net-fertility to the same level as the mid-19th century) was not caused by people pumping out 10 kids each, but by a significant increase in marriage, especially among the young.
This was driven by an increase in young men's wealth/status relative to that of young women. The relative part is important: Women don't want to be poor and low status, they just want men to be wealthier and higher status than themselves; this is true even for wealthy / high status women.

I don't really want to do it, but I'm going to read studies on the prevalence and nature of child sexual abuse. I read a CDC article claiming that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 20 boys are victims of at least one instance of CSA, but this was a lifetime total for all ages under 18, rather than prepubescents alone. I have not yet read the sources, but given that pedophiles are only ~2% of the population, I imagine the frequency is much lower for prepubescents. I also imagine the CDC's definition of CSA is quite broad and probably includes things like "harassment." I remember a study from the UK that included children & adolescents sexting each other nudes as "child sexual abuse."
