🛡️ Hacker targets XRP holders via JavaScript library. On April 21, an attacker compromised the
XRP Ledger SDK stack, injecting a backdoor into
xrpl.js to steal crypto, reports Aikido Security.
⚠️ Five malicious versions were released but
not published on the official GitHub repo. The malware aimed to
steal private keys and access wallets.
✖️ The
XRP Ledger Foundation blocked support for these versions and urged users to update to
xrpl.js 4.2.5. No victims reported.
