EOS-05 — India’s first-ever imaging satellite from Geosynchronous orbit!
EOS-05 is a state-of-the-art Earth observation spacecraft, launched by Indian Space Research Organisation’s GSLV-F17 (the 19th flight of India’s Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle).
Orbiting high above #Earth, EOS-05 will strengthen India’s ability to observe our planet in near real time - supporting #flood and #cyclone response, #forestfire monitoring, #agriculture, #weather forecasting and national #security.
The accomplishment is a grand reflection of the excellence, innovation and growing capabilities that define India’s space sector. 🇮🇳🇮🇳✌️✌️
