Telegram is no longer investing in useful features
🍏 🍏 🍏 Let's talk!
🍏 Last week Posts Recap
🍏 Boost & Support ▫️ ❤️
Following Telegram's source, I've noticed something lately. With the messenger's latest updates, the new features are nothing more than "visual luxury" at first, but also useless new additions.
Now, we'll have boosts for groups, which won't be much different from what already exists in channels. The difference is minimal.
On one hand, with the boost active in groups (and specific levels), ordinary members will be able to use some premium features such as voice message transcription and real-time translation (wasn't this one already available for free?).
🍏 What do you think? Is there any feature missing in Telegram?

Telegram will limit your download and upload speed
💬 | Let's talk!
⚡️ | Boost & Support
Yes, Telegram will identify that you are not a Premium user and will start showing a notice for you to subscribe to the service. As a result, the download and upload speed will be a joke.
Therefore, if you have recently noticed a slowdown while downloading a file, know that this limitation is affecting the entire user base. And, as a detail, Premium users are not experiencing this "instability."

Check out these Telegram feature concepts!
💬 | Let's talk!
⚡️ | Boost & Support
These concepts were created by SOUIC. I particularly highlight a feature that I would like to see on Telegram, which is the "Feed". I found it quite intriguing and it would be an essential hub for the channels you follow on the platform.
With AI integration, Telegram could offer personalized recommendations, smarter search functionalities, and even automated moderation tools to enhance user experience and security.

Telegram has updated and brought a very interesting feature in version 10.11.0

I think the ability to create stickers directly through the app and the stickers section is simply very welcome. The Telegram update allows you to create stickers and has a full editor. This feature was already available in the beta version.
Additionally, Telegram promised to announce 16 more new features this month.

Telegram, WhatsApp and Threads have been removed from the Chinese App Store
💬 | Let's chat!
⚡️ | You can boost Twapple
Apple removed these apps at the request of the Chinese government. These foreign messaging apps, as well as many other global social networks, have already been blocked within mainland China. Users had been accessing them via VPNs.
| Be a part of Twapple Staff
However, these are not the most popular networks in China. Most people use WeChat and even their own version of TikTok (Douyin).

Ironically, Telegram is the most downloaded Android app in China
💬 | Let's chat!
⚡️ | You can boost Twapple
Despite being removed from the Chinese App Store, Telegram's download numbers haven't decreased. Instead, it's become one of the most downloaded apps.
Users have turned to VPNs to download Telegram.
"It was a move against Apple itself: the Chinese authorities are forcing more of their citizens to switch from iPhones to Android smartphones produced by Chinese companies such as Xiaomi. Unlike iPhones, most Android phones allow sideloading apps outside app stores." - Durov.

Telegram will implement "Fact checking" and "SafetyNet check"
💬 | Let's chat!
⚡️ | You can boost Twapple
At the beginning of 2023 [link], Telegram introduced SafetyNet verification in its app, and it now seems that this feature will become more prominent and functional. Additionally, there will be a focus on the veracity of the content shared on the platform, which will now include a fact-checking mechanism.
With Google already breaking the fingerprints of custom ROMs [link], what impact will this SafetyNet feature in Telegram have on users with root access or modified apps?

Beware of new Telegram scam: Fake "Security Tips" account targeting users
A new scam is making the rounds on Telegram, where fraudsters are impersonating an account called "Security Tips" to scare users with fake account suspension threats, using a "verified badge" emoji.
💬 | Let's chat!
Stay Safe! If you receive a message asking you to visit a link called "System Center", don’t click it! It’s a phishing scam and if you fall for it, your account could end up in the hands of hackers.

Now Durov is promoting his own channel through Telegram's channel ads
I don't know how relevant this is (and it's not), but now Pavel is advertising his channel using the platform's ad system. Clearly, he doesn't have to pay for it. 🤣
