FAO Farğona vodiysida dehqon va tomorqa xöjaliklarini qöllab-quvvatlamoqda
FAO Özbekiston Respublikasi Qishloq xo‘jaligi vazirligi bilan hamkorlikda Andijon, Namangan va Farğona viloyatlaridagi dehqon va tomorqa xöjaliklariga 12 ta motokultivator va 12 ta qöl purkagiç topşirdi.
Uskunalar tuproqqa işlov berişni yengillaştiriş, qöl mehnatini kamaytiriş hamda ekinlarni kasallik va zararkunandalardan himoya qilişga kömaklaşadi.
Texnik kömak amaliy bilimlar bilan uyğunlaşmoqda: uç viloyatda 38 nafar iştirokçi tuproq va suv resurslarini barqaror boşqariş, iqlimga çidamli ekinlarni yetiştiriş hamda iqlimga moslaşgan qişloq xöjaligi böyiça trenerlar tayyorlaş kurslarini yakunladi.
Tadbirlar “Farğona vodiysida qişloq xöjaligini barqaror rivojlantiriş uçun Janub–Janub va uç tomonlama hamkorlik” loyihasi doirasida amalga oşirildi.

FAO supports smallholder and household farms in the Fergana Valley
FAO, in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, provided 12 motor cultivators and 12 hand-operated sprayers to smallholder farmers and household plot owners in Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions.
The equipment will help ease soil preparation, reduce manual labour and support crop protection against pests and diseases.
Equipment support goes hand in hand with practical knowledge: 38 participants across the three regions completed training-of-trainers courses on sustainable soil and water management, climate-resilient crops and climate-smart agriculture.
These activities were carried out under the project “South-South and Triangular Cooperation for Sustainable Agricultural Development in the Fergana Valley”.

From Dreams to the Future: Girls’ Rights, Choices and Opportunities
What does it take to build a future where every girl has the freedom to dream, choose and achieve her goals?
On 15 October, UNFPA Uzbekistan brought together 120 young people, women leaders, policymakers and development partners at Westminster International University in Tashkent to mark the International Day of the Girl Child.
💬 Through inspiring conversations with women leaders, interactive activities and open discussions, young participants explored gender stereotypes, equal opportunities, leadership and the importance of making informed choices.
Girls and boys came together to challenge harmful social norms, share their aspirations and reflect on how they can contribute to a more equal and inclusive society.
Every girl deserves the freedom to dream, the opportunity to choose and the support to shape her own future.
The event was organized by UNFPA in collaboration with the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Youth Parliament, Westminster International University in Tashkent and Safia
