Essentially, buy walls prevents market prices from dropping because they create a massive amount of orders at the same price which requires large amounts of money to be executed and passed over.
A buy wall is the result of a single huge buy order or the composition of multiple large buy orders that are put at the same price in the order book of a particular market.

Highlights from the Crypto Market - ETH Leads the Crypto Top Ten
The crypto top 10 had a positive Thursday session. Bitcoin (BTC) extended its Wednesday rally, while Ethereum (ETH) recovered to $1,200.
A jump in US wholesale inflation and dismal unemployment claims data put the market's appetite for riskier assets to the test.
In June, the wholesale annual rate of inflation in the United States increased from 10.9 percent to 11.3 percent, exceeding the projected 10.7 percent. Jobless claims increased from 235k to 244k in the week ended July 8, contributing to the negative sentiment.
Later in the US session, riskier assets gained support from Fed Governor Christopher Waller, who advocated for a 75-basis-point rate hike in July. The latest consumer pricing and nonfarm payroll numbers have prompted the Fed to raise interest rates by 100 basis points.

SA Central Bank Considers Crypto As A Financial Asset
The deputy governor of the SARB, Kuben Naidoo, recently said the institution had revised its stance on cryptocurrencies and is now looking to introduce a framework that governs crypto-related transactions. Naidoo, a member of SARB’s monetary policy committee, said such a framework would bring about a safer crypto ecosystem.
Naidoo, who spoke at a webinar organized by PSG Konsult, is quoted in the report highlighting one of the key reasons the central bank changed its mind. He said:
"Our view has changed and we now regard [cryptocurrency] as a financial asset and we hope to regulate it as a financial asset. There has been a lot of money that has flowed in and there is a need to regulate it and bring it into the mainstream."

Donations to a Ukrainian charity have increased during the bear market, according to the organisation.
The Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation, an organization raising money for Ukraine’s war effort against Russia, has used crypto actively in its fundraising and is seeing donations rise in crypto terms even as the market has fallen from its highs.
According to Roman Sinicyn, Military Coordinator for the Foundation, crypto has been embraced both as a convenient way for people to donate to them, and as a way for the Foundation itself to pay for various equipment that it then donates to Ukraine’s army.
Sinicyn told Cryptonews.com that the Prytula Foundation has raised more than USD 4.5m in crypto donations since the war started on February 24 this year.

The USA sees a new payment dimension because of Hyosung America and Digital Mint. In partnership with cash-to-crypto provider, DigitalMint, Hyosung America has signed a deal.
This would enable the citizens across the country to purchase BTC via the firm’s ATMs. Along with the buying facility through ATMs, bank wires and tellers, DigitalMint also provides software API integration to facilitate the selling of BTCs.
The CMO for Hyosung America, Brad Nolan stated: “With the app store, any ATM operator using our retail software platform can subscribe and download apps such as DigitalMint, to enable their ATMs to do more — driving new revenue streams for the operators and the retailers with whom they partner.”

SINGAPORE (Reuters) - In new laws that could be presented in the coming months, Singapore aims to widen the scope of cryptocurrency regulations to cover more activities and possibly restrict individual investors' access to digital tokens.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) plans to consult on proposed measures in September or October of this year, according to its chief Ravi Menon on Tuesday (July 19).
He stated at the introduction of the MAS' annual report that the focus of cryptocurrency regulation in and outside of Singapore has been on money laundering and terrorism funding issues.
