✨ good evening dear peers! 🌙

a part of the way from wielandplatz to our traditional spot is closed (marked xxx on the map), so we have to take a small detour (pink) to get to our bathing spot (star).

Dear all, welcome to the June PhD week!🌞
Here’s the updated schedule as of today. Strikethrough events had to be cancelled.

Please note that Roman Liska’s Vorprüfung has been shifted to tomorrow, Tuesday, 17.6., 9am and will take place in the main building, room 207, 2nd floor.

Tomorrow night, you get the chance to test out Regine Elbers’ audio game "Blocked Under Ground" (in German) — join her at 7.30pm at Klanglabor (Marienstraße 5, Raum 204) and bring your smartphone and headphones, if possible! 🎧

Looking forward to seeing you soon :)
Good evening everybody, we're here (Marienstr. 5, 204) and ready for Regine's audio game!

💫 Welcome to Weimar! 🎊
We are excited and curious to see familiar and new faces over the coming days.

A special note for anyone preparing courses, for example as part of a tutorium: there are still a few places available in the “Learn to teach” program. The course will be held in German from November 18 to 20, 2025, and in English in January 2026.

💫 Ready for some magic? Working Titles#3 is launching today! 🎩

At 7pm, we will celebrate the release of Working Titles – Journal for Practice-Based Research, issue no. 3: SPELL CHECK: Spiritualism, Shamanism, Sorcery & the Reincarnation of the Occult in Dark Times. A year of intense work by the editorial board and authors comes to an end and we are looking forward to sharing the amazing results. The evening will feature a spotlight conversation with one of the contributors, Kristen Nelson—scholar, witch, and descendant of pagan ancestry—followed by an open discussion on the issue’s themes with all present. This is a hybrid, public event.

Join us for a magical evening with some sparkly 🍾 and celebrate with us!
If you cannot be with us in presence, grab some snacks and join online via zoom: https://hu-berlin.zoom-x.de/j/66414612250
