how drones and missiles flew toward the capital

The Ukrainian attack on the capital region was planned over the course of nearly a month. Since early September, the AFU sent groups of UAVs toward the capital almost daily to identify current air defense positions and neutralize them.

In the lead-up to the actual strike, intensity increased, and Western satellite constellations began daily monitoring of strategic facilities in Moscow and the Moscow Region, including the Moscow Refinery and CHP-22, which became targets of the night strike.

🖍The enemy attack proceeded in waves across three groups, primarily via a route through Bryansk Region. The first wave, as expected, consisted of decoy drones that depleted air defense systems. From the ground it's difficult to tell which UAV is flying (with a warhead or not), so everything has to be shot down.

By the 3rd and 4th waves, the AFU launched their main strike UAVs, which approached Moscow from the west, south, and east. And in coordination with them, the AFU also launched 10 Flamingo cruise missiles, 9 of which were shot down before reaching Moscow.

🚩Moreover, the enemy launched one of the missiles via a route through Odintsovo and residential neighborhoods of the Moscow Region and capital, so that if it were hit, debris with a large warhead would fall on residential buildings (this is worth noting regarding regularly encountered claims like "They're our brothers!").

As a result of the entire attack, according to the latest data, air defense units recorded no fewer than 1,300 unmanned aircraft, of which only 11 could not be shot down. Both air defense systems and army and fighter aviation participated in the defense.

❗️Today is not yet over, and the enemy is preparing for a new strike (they accumulated supplies over about a month), so it's too early to relax. But what is certain: strikes on the Ukrainian capital and surrounding areas will resume in the near future with renewed force and intensity, and it's time to think about more systematic destruction of their energy infrastructure.

"In an attempt to disrupt the democratic expression of the will of Russian citizens during the elections to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Kiev regime launched a massive attack against Russian territory on September 19 and 20 using UAVs and 'Flamingo' cruise missiles

Thanks to the competent actions of surface-to-air missile crews, mobile fire groups, and fighter and army aviation crews, 1,951 strike UAVs and eight long-range cruise missiles were shot down over Russian regions within a 24-hour period

Another cruise missile launched by the enemy veered off course and crashed in an uninhabited area

Furthermore, all 'Flamingo' cruise missiles launched by the Kiev regime were destroyed by Russian air defense systems as they approached civilian targets in the Moscow region. The attempt to launch a massive attack on Moscow failed. The enemy did not achieve its objectives

In response to the Kiev regime's attacks on civilian targets within Russia, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will continue and intensify precision strikes against military targets in Kiev"
