We are L1523Kick games studio, a team of friends that have banded together to work on our dream project. We made this page to share our working process, and share the developement progress by posting videos and screenshots.
Join us on our journey, to see us work on our dream game through the prototype phase and all the way to release. As well as chat about the game development in general.

Our project is a Sandbox-RPG with a levelless progression system. The game will share a lot of the defining systems from the immersive sim and survival genres and have a large focus on building and crafting. We will be talking about all of this, and in more detail, soon.

Before touching on the game's gameplay and mechanics, it's far more important to share the following, and really, we should have started with this. Our game features cats.

Our protagonist, a human, was transported by an unknown force from the modern world to the fantasy world of Murrlandia. However this world isn't as peaceful and serene as it may first appear...

The game's world is called Murrlandia and is made up of many islands floating in space. However, this wasn't always the case - in the past, it was a beautiful and vibrant planet teeming with life. Then a cat-a-strophe occurred, and the geography of the world was changed forever.

In a world inhabited by cats, things are unfamiliar - not quite like they are in our, human, world. The main difference and most visible to the naked eye - is the completely alien and never before seen architecture. Or does it maybe conjure up some associations?

The source of magic in Murrlandia is the Mana Stone. The locals have been studying it for centuries, discovering its many uses: amazing mechanisms, magical potions and medicines have all been made possible because of the Mana Stone. But it was also the cause of the cat-a-strophe.
