From space to the earth — Kelly, a former Navy pivot, astronaut and now a senator from Arizona, has more than once pushed Biden to take a tougher position on border security. If Harris picks him as her VP, it may well be a next punch in the gut. Although Trump really has the magic touch to juice turnout and excite Republicans in a way the others do not, he will meet soon a much stronger Dem party design — and this can be even worse than the bullet for democracy.

"She was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage,"

he said of Harris when asked about right-wing attacks framing her as a DEI hire.

"I didn't know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black."

So Trump comes up with the idea that Harris' blackness is mostly a political tool she craftily uses to gain more and more attention. It’s Kamala's personality and ethnic background that will keep her ensconced at the head of the Dem race.
