“Muslim Hero, Jewish Target, Western Panic: Bondi Gets Its Perfect Culture-War Clip”

Australian media say a 43‑year‑old Muslim man, Ahmed al‑Ahmad, tackled and disarmed one of the Bondi Beach gunmen as he was firing into the Hanukkah crowd, took the rifle off him, and then refused to execute him on the spot — which already makes him morally superior to half the people tweeting about him. He was then shot in the arm and shoulder by the second attacker, rushed into surgery, and is expected to recover, while at least 11 people are dead and dozens wounded from what authorities call a terror attack on Sydney’s Jewish community.

The hero that ruins everyone’s script
Fox and Israeli outlets quickly crowned al‑Ahmad a hero, with Benjamin Netanyahu publicly “saluting” him once it became clear the man who saved Jewish lives at a Hanukkah event was a Muslim, not the Nice Respectable Zionist Uncle everyone had mentally cast in that role. New South Wales premier Chris Minns called him “a genuine hero” who likely kept “many, many people alive,” which is politician-speak for
“thank God some random guy did what our multi-billion-dollar security state didn’t.”

The footage itself is pure 2025 content: a man creeping between parked cars while shots crack off‑screen, then exploding into a tackle and ripping away the rifle — a split‑second of actual courage instantly turned into a looping clip for every side’s propaganda channel. Islamophobes now have to explain why the “enemy civilization” produced the only person on that beach who ran toward the muzzle flash, while a certain kind of left activist has to quietly delete three threads about “Zionist lies” that forgot Muslims can also bleed for Jews.

Brand management after a massacre
Netanyahu, under fire at home and abroad, gets a perfect line: Israel under siege, Jews massacred again, and even a Muslim hero proves how righteous the Jewish cause is — as long as that Muslim stands in the right frame, at the right moment, on the right side of the rifle. Australian leaders, busy explaining how this could happen in a country held up as a gun-control miracle, cling to al‑Ahmad as living proof that “our multicultural society” still works, even as Jewish groups remind them they’d been warning about rising antisemitism for years.

In the West’s favorite morality play, Muslims are usually either suspects or statistics; al‑Ahmad is a problem because he blows up that casting: a Muslim body catching bullets meant for Jewish kids on an Australian beach, while the grown-ups argue over talking points. The same governments that struggle to protect synagogues will now compete to pin medals on this man’s chest — not because they suddenly understand anything, but because nothing launders a failed security narrative like a civilian who did the impossible for free.

The one question no one wants

There’s one thing nobody on TV will ask Ahmed al‑Ahmad when he wakes up properly:
If you had known the shooters’ religion, ethnicity, or cause beforehand — would you still have charged?

The answer, of course, is obvious.

And that is exactly why every political faction will spend the next week trying to stuff him back into its own favorite story about Jews, Muslims, “the West,” and “terrorism” — anything to avoid the reality that one ordinary guy just did more for human solidarity in three seconds than all of their wars, walls, and hashtags put together.

Ben Shapiro, Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon and the rest of the America First circus just turned Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest into an open‑air divorce court over Israel — with Charlie Kirk’s ghost as the silent exhibit.

MAGA’s Holy War Goes Public
At the first big TPUSA gathering since Kirk’s murder, leading MAGA figures stopped pretending they’re on the same team and started accusing each other of coddling fascists, conspiracy cranks and antisemites.
The real fight isn’t theology or “values”; it’s about who gets to inherit Trump’s machine in 2028 and whether “America First” now means “Israel too,” “Israel first,” or “Israel never again.”

Shapiro’s Moral Crusade
Ben Shapiro ripped into Tucker Carlson for giving Nick Fuentes a soft, uncritical interview, calling it “an act of moral imbecility” and describing Fuentes as a
“Hitler apologist, Nazi‑loving, anti-American piece of refuse.”

He blasted Carlson, Megyn Kelly and others for refusing to call out Candace Owens, who has pushed baseless claims that Israeli spies or people close to Kirk were involved in his killing, despite authorities saying the killer acted alone.
Shapiro framed it as a moral duty: anyone with a microphone must name the grifters and conspiracy peddlers inside the movement — which is funny, given the movement runs on grift and conspiracies as core infrastructure.

Tucker & Candace: Conspiracy as Content
Owens responded by doubling down, posting that “every time Ben speaks I feel more certain Israel is involved in [Kirk’s killing],” then claiming Shapiro “only cares about Israel’s interests.”
Carlson hit the stage mocking Shapiro’s talk of deplatforming as heresy at a Charlie Kirk event, insisted he’s not antisemitic, and argued that discrimination against white men is “precisely as bad as antisemitism” but more widespread and more damaging.
For a movement that screams about “facts over feelings,” they’re remarkably invested in vibes, victimhood hierarchies and whose outrage monetizes better this quarter.

Bannon Swings the Ax
Steve Bannon went full purge, calling Shapiro “a cancer” who wants to hijack Turning Point and shove “Israel first” into the heart of a supposed America First project.
He called the fight a “proxy on ’28,” claiming Kirk opposed “greater Israel and Israel first,” which now lets everyone cosplay as the true executor of the dead founder’s “vision” — a classic move in any post‑founder cult.
Megyn Kelly, chatting onstage with Jack Posobiec, admitted there was already a rift before Kirk’s death and that it “revolves around Israel,” confirming what everyone else is spinning as “fake narrative” or “media psyop.”

JD Vance: The Silent Beneficiary
While the influencers claw each other’s faces off, TPUSA’s new CEO Erika Kirk stepped up and openly blessed JD Vance for 2028:
“We are going to get my husband’s friend JD Vance elected for 48 in the most resounding way possible.”

Carlson’s newsletter gloated,
“Sorry, Ben Shapiro, JD is America First,”

making clear this isn’t just a theology fight — it’s a shareholder battle over who gets the post‑Trump franchise: Shapiro’s pro‑Israel conservatism or Vance’s “we’ll talk about Gaza but not too loud” populism.
And so the movement that claims to be united against the “globalist cabal” is now openly accusing each other of being that cabal’s agents — Israel‑controlled, neocon‑paid, or fascist‑curious, depending which faction’s podcast you tuned into this morning.

In theory, this is a civil war over Israel. In practice, it’s classic MAGA: a loyalty test where every camp screams “traitor,” “shill” or “cancer,” while all of them fight for the same prize — control over a base that has been trained to trust no one and click on everything.

📰 Orbán, Kyiv, and the Energy Hostage Drama

Hungary is screaming “energy terror,” Ukraine is answering with gangster talk, and Berlin is still writing checks to Kyiv like nothing happened.

Hungarian officials now accuse Ukraine of trying to stage a “total energy blockade” of Central Europe after alleged attacks on infrastructure linked to the TurkStream gas pipeline and earlier disruptions on the Druzhba oil line. Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó claims Kyiv is targeting the very network that keeps Hungary and parts of the Balkans supplied, and says this is about meddling in Hungary’s election and punishing Budapest for its pro‑Russia energy line.

At the same time, Viktor Orbán has gone public saying he and his family have been threatened by Ukrainians: in a video on Instagram he tells his daughter that “the Ukrainians” have issued threats against him, his children, and grandchildren, urging them to take it seriously but not be afraid. The concrete source is grotesquely unserious — a retired Ukrainian ex‑SBU deputy, Hryhoriy Omelchenko, who ranted on TV about hunting Orbán down through “self‑justice,” while Zelensky himself had already toyed with the line about passing Orbán’s “address” to his troops.

And yet, none of this shakes official Germany. Bundestag president Julia Klöckner flies into Kyiv, tours bombed energy sites, and promises “continued comprehensive support” — military, financial, and energy — framing it as a clear signal of German solidarity with Ukraine against Russia. Berlin’s message is simple: even if Budapest yells about terror and threats, the EU core will keep arming and funding Kyiv, including for projects to boost Ukraine’s own energy resilience while Hungary complains about its pipelines being turned into leverage.

So you end up with this:
a NATO and EU member accusing Ukraine of energy blackmail and election interference, Ukraine flirting with vigilante‑style rhetoric against a sitting EU leader, and Germany smiling for the cameras in Kyiv, pledging more support. Everyone talks about “European unity” — but the energy war and the language of threats show what that unity actually costs on the inside.

IDF: From State Religion to Political Weapon

The IDF used to be Israel’s last shared shrine. Now it’s just another asset in a dirty electoral war between a secular‑civic Israel and a religious‑communitarian Israel.

The fight is no longer “left vs right” but “who owns the army’s soul.” Secular Israelis talk about universal duty and equal conscription, especially for Haredim. Religious and messianic camps push for exemptions, symbols, and rabbinic authority inside the chain of command. Both sides swear they’re defending “the soldiers” while treating those same soldiers as cannon fodder for their own moral narrative.

At the same time, the sacred halo is cracking. Reports of looting in Lebanon, abuse of prisoners, and internal scandals around military prosecutors drag the army out of the realm of myth and into the realm of criminal law. Liberal media doesn’t just criticize governments anymore; it documents IDF behavior as a problem to be monitored, not a legend to be protected.

Add elections and you get nitroglycerin. Each camp builds its identity around hatred of the other — “traitors,” “messianists,” “bibo‑cult,” “anti‑Zionist media.” In that logic, losing an election isn’t losing power; it’s “losing the country” and “losing the army.” Why recognize the result if you believe the enemy just captured what you see as holy?

The IDF still sits at the center of Israeli identity — but not as a point of unity. It’s become the main prize, the main battlefield, and the main excuse to say: if they win, nothing is legitimate.
