Migrants and refugees are often overlooked by society. As Jesus asks us to love our neighbours, we must open our hearts and homes to them. After all, they are all children of God like us.
Josephine Tey explains to us what the Migrants and Refugee Ministry does, as well as how we can support them to ensure that the people under their care receive maximum support and lead better lives.
We’re invited to pray for the migrants and refugees in our community, as well as serve with our talents if we are able to.

We join Fr Augustine Lee as we explore ways to let go of grudges, bitterness, and resentment, and embrace the healing and freedom that comes with forgiveness.
Let us spend some time this Lent to think of those who have hurt us deeply, and make an attempt to forgive and make amends by saying a prayer for those that wronged us.

Almsgiving traditionally points to the practice of giving food or monetary assistance to those less fortunate around us. It is a strongly Catholic value that should be carried throughout families as a way to not just teach children the importance of loving your neighbour, but to instill a sense of generosity within them.
