Early this morning, the Creation Justice Commission of the ArchKL, led by Fr. Andrew Manickam, organised an Outdoor Lenten Recollection at the Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur. A total of 320 attendees were present.
Participants started gathering as early as 7:30am. After an opening prayer led by Archbishop Julian Leow, the participants were broken into groups for a time of guided reflection. There was also silent time to hear the voice of God in creation and to hear the voice of creation. The recollection ended at 12:00pm with Fr. Edwin Peter leading the wrapping up session and testimonials then closing prayer and blessing by Fr. Bernard Hyacinth.
Overall it was a time to enjoy creation and appreciate the wonder of God’s work in creation this lent. We pray you have a meaningful and blessed Lent 2023.
