Discover why it's crucial to our spiritual growth, and how God's unending forgiveness can inspire us to forgive those who have hurt us deeply. We join Fr Augustine Lee as we explore ways to let go of grudges, bitterness, and resentment, and embrace the healing and freedom that comes with forgiveness.
Let us spend some time this Lent to think of those who have hurt us deeply, and make an attempt to forgive and make amends by saying a prayer for those that wronged us.

Day 22 : Teaching our children about almsgiving. Fiona Biggs. Light of Life : 40 Days of Reflection
Almsgiving traditionally points to the practice of giving food or monetary assistance to those less fortunate around us. It is a strongly Catholic value that should be carried throughout families as a way to not just teach children the importance of loving your neighbour, but to instill a sense of generosity within them.
On Day 22 of our 40 Day Reflection, Fiona Biggs speaks to us about teaching our children about almsgiving, and how we can start this practice from home. We are reminded to spend some time with our children to teach them the value of giving, and help them come up with an almsgiving initiative they can do this Lenten season.

St. Joseph is often portrayed as a selfless man, both the father of Jesus and part of the Holy Family. Yet what do we as Catholics know about him beyond that?
Archbishop Julian helps us understand St. Joseph better as a man who was obedient to the will of God, as well as a protector who suffered in silence and humility. On our part as laypeople, we are invited to make a sacrifice of our precious time, and perform a good deed that will benefit someone in our community today.

Our speaker for today, Fr. William Michael, brings us through Jesus’ philosophy on worry, and how we can understand his teachings in today’s stressful environment in order to be more trusting in God to fulfill our spiritual needs.
Today, we invite you to be a listening ear to someone whose mind is burdened with worries. Pray for them to have their troubles eased, and for peace to return to their heart and home during this turbulent time.

In light of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Malaysia's decision to revoke the general dispensation to attend Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation with effect from Palm Sunday 2023, the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur has updated its guidelines concerning the attendance at Mass in churches and other church-related events. Perkahwinan adalah salah satu sakramen asas Gereja. Oleh itu, Gereja memandang perkahwinan sebagai perjanjian yang suci dan tidak boleh dipecahkan antara lelaki dan wanita yang memilih untuk bersatu di bawah mata Tuhan.
Namun, disebabkan masyarakat hari ini, lebih ramai pasangan yang menjauhkan diri daripada Tuhan sebagai keutamaan dalam hubungan mereka. Egbert Adolf dan Elena Woo menjemput kami untuk merenung mengapa perkara ini berlaku, dan bantu kami memahami perkara yang boleh dilakukan oleh pasangan suami isteri untuk mengukuhkan ikatan mereka dengan Tuhan melalui hubungan suci mereka.
Hari ini, kita dipanggil untuk berdoa untuk pasangan suami isteri dalam komuniti kita dan, jika berkenaan, perkahwinan kita sendiri, agar Tuhan dapat menguatkan ikatan kita agar kesatuan ini akan berbuah selamanya.
