If CAT went bad - Just for Information

https://youtube.com/shorts/u9b-7hmZkL4

To Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow , Please don't repeat the history, it will impact many IIM aspirants.

A wrong question penalizes students in many ways. Wrong Question in CAT is not a mistake of students it's an #ethical #crime of Question setters.

I hope the #IIM Committee does not do #injustice.

The best they could do is

1. To give marks to all those who marked one of the correct options [since a question has two correct answers]

2. If the question is removed, then extrapolation of marks should follow a better formula than simply using the unitary method.

I hope #CAT2022 Slot 3, could feel the pain of #CAT2023 Slot 1.

#Background

In CAT 2022 , Evening Slot ( Slot 3), the IIM Committee, removed questions and students' marks were decreased (those who solved it, correctly based on a correct assumption and was getting +3 marks) And I personally know 10+ students who missed calls from many IIMs.

This is the year the same thing is happening with CAT 2023 - Slot 1 (morning). 3 questions are having issues.

During market downturns, investing in yourself is crucial.
Instead of rushing into an MBA when the market is down, consider the opportunity cost.
Take this time to upskill yourself, knowing that the market typically takes 2-3 years to recover.
If you believe you can secure a similar or better college next year, delaying your MBA might be a strategic move.

Do you know : 80%+ of Quant questions from past CAT exams (including the notoriously tough 2023 edition) and CGL have been rooted in concepts from MBA - Maths By Amiya.

Back in 2012, I started Maths By Amiya, a dedicated Facebook page and YouTube channel (now AZUCATION), where I began sharing these core concepts with students across the country. Over the years, these concepts have formed the foundation for so many of the toughest questions in these exams.

And this is just one example of the many powerful, exam-relevant concepts we discuss and master in class. As I always say:

"Class ke bahar kuch nahi aayega."

Stick with us, and you'll see that every key concept comes directly from what we cover together.
