To Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow , Please don't repeat the history, it will impact many IIM aspirants.


A wrong question penalizes students in many ways. Wrong Question in CAT is not a mistake of students it's an #ethical #crime of Question setters.


I hope the #IIM Committee does not do #injustice.


The best they could do is

1. To give marks to all those who marked one of the correct options [since a question has two correct answers]


2. If the question is removed, then extrapolation of marks should follow a better formula than simply using the unitary method.


I hope #CAT2022 Slot 3, could feel the pain of #CAT2023 Slot 1.

#Background

In CAT 2022 , Evening Slot ( Slot 3), the IIM Committee, removed questions and students' marks were decreased (those who solved it, correctly based on a correct assumption and was getting +3 marks) And I personally know 10+ students who missed calls from many IIMs.


This is the year the same thing is happening with CAT 2023 - Slot 1 (morning). 3 questions are having issues.
