Was asked to join at 3:30 for introductory session and then they provided the order in which they will be taking PI
I was 9th on list. My turn came after 2:30 hrs.
Two panelists P1, P2 both males
P1: started and asked from where are you speaking?
I told Nagpur.
There was some problem with my microphone so they asked to remove it.
P1: TMAYS
I: gave a detailed description.
P1: as you gave a detailed description, from where do you want us to ask questions?
I: sir, you can ask anything from what i told, i don't have any priorities.
P1: what do you do now?
I: told i was working with xyz and left the job now and preparing for the interviews
P1: tell me why did you left the job?
I: told prepared answer.
P1: what was your project on(in work)?
I: sir, banking application.
P1:what exactly?
I: told
P1: can you tell me how exactly a bank works?
I: told am not 100%sure but will try. Told that the bank gives loan to buyers at a certain interest rate and gives a certain rate for deposit and it is through this it makes money.
P1: so let's say they charge 8% to a buyer and gives at 8% to depositor so how will it make money?
I: sir it charges higher amount to the people taking loans and gives less interest on the deposits.
P1: that's what i wanted to hear.
Over to p2
P2: so were part of maintainence team so do you have any idea about preventive maintenance?
I: told
P2: what exactly in maintainence did you do?
I: told
P2: so do you know about any standard practices that are needed to follow for maintenance?
I: said can't recall
P2: do you know about ISO?
I: TOLD
P2: is there any linkage between MOC and ISO?
I: sorry sir don't know.
P2: ok i think we are done. Thank you and all the best.

P1 was smiling throughout and seem to be convinced. P2 looked bit serious but did not counter much. Approx 10 min interview

Now I learned that a few IIM C students are shifting to IIM K, on the basis of NIRF ranking. You could have a better reason than these rankings and guidance of influencers.
