🏦 WALL STREET SHIFTS TOWARD A FED RATE HIKE
The Federal Reserve begins its two-day policy meeting tomorrow — and the macro setup has changed significantly.
August U.S. CPI rose:
• +0.4% month-over-month
• +3.4% year-over-year
• Core CPI: +0.3% month-over-month
Following the hotter inflation data, both Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan shifted their September forecasts to a 25-basis-point rate hike.
JPMorgan also expects another hike in December.
For Bitcoin, this matters because higher rates can strengthen the dollar, lift bond yields and make risk assets less attractive at the margin.
The Fed decision arrives Wednesday.

🐋 BITCOIN SELLING PRESSURE IS EASING — GLASSNODE
There is a meaningful change developing underneath Bitcoin’s market structure.
Glassnode says sell-side pressure near BTC’s recent range highs is running at less than half the pace seen in August.
Long-term holders are also largely sitting out the latest move instead of aggressively distributing coins.
That does NOT mean resistance has disappeared.
Glassnode still identifies the 86K area as a major overhead supply zone.
But compared with August, Bitcoin is approaching that supply with significantly lighter selling pressure.
The key question now is whether demand becomes strong enough to absorb what remains.

🏦 STRIVE HITS 25,000 BTC AFTER ANOTHER 469 BTC BUY
Strive has added another 469 BTC to its corporate treasury.
The company bought the coins between Sept. 8 and Sept. 11 for approximately $36.6 million, at an average price of $77,954 per BTC.
Its holdings now stand at exactly:
24,531 BTC → 25,000 BTC
CEO Matt Cole says 100% of the capital raised during the week came through SATA, Strive’s perpetual preferred stock.
That financing vehicle has now crossed $1 billion in notional value.
The notable part is not just the purchase:
Strive is increasingly using preferred equity — rather than common-share issuance — to finance its Bitcoin accumulation.

₿ STRATEGY PAUSES BTC BUYING — SPENDS $139.3M BUYING BACK ITS OWN PREFERRED STOCK
Strategy did not buy or sell any Bitcoin for a second consecutive week.
Its treasury remains unchanged at:
845,050 BTC
Instead, the company used $139.3 million of cash to repurchase approximately 1.42 million shares of its STRC preferred stock.
Strategy now reports:
• 845,050 BTC held
• $5.10B USD Reserve
• $1.30B additional USD cash
• $1.05B still available for preferred-stock repurchases
Important distinction:
This is not Strategy reducing its Bitcoin position.
It is using capital to manage the financing structure surrounding the world’s largest corporate BTC treasury.

This happens as long-term rates rise relative to short-term rates. Though they try to hold short rates down, long rates are climbing, a trend we are already seeing. We are also seeing a weakening dollar and movements in gold. As rates rise, it starts to affect the stock market.

🇺🇸 THE CLARITY ACT FACES ITS SENATE TEST TONIGHT
The U.S. Senate is scheduled to vote today on whether to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act.
The procedural vote is expected at approximately 19:15 Portugal time.
The bill needs 60 votes to move forward.
Ahead of the vote, Senate Republicans released revised legislation containing more than 100 changes sought by Democrats, including tougher restrictions involving public officials profiting from crypto ventures.
The legislation aims to create a clearer U.S. market structure for digital assets and define regulatory responsibilities.
Important:
Tonight’s vote is NOT final passage of the bill.
It determines whether the Senate moves forward with debate.
For Bitcoin, the outcome matters because clearer rules could directly affect U.S. exchanges, custodians, banks and institutional BTC infrastructure.

⛏ BITCOIN MINERS EARN 3,253 BTC IN A WEEK — FEES MAKE UP JUST 0.59%
Bitcoin miners collected roughly 3,253 BTC in total block rewards over the latest seven-day period, according to Luxor’s weekly mining data.
Transaction fees contributed only around:
19 BTC
That represents just 0.59% of total miner block rewards.
The network’s seven-day average hashrate was approximately 943 EH/s in the same published snapshot.
Why it matters:
Bitcoin’s security budget currently remains overwhelmingly dependent on the block subsidy rather than transaction fees.
As future halvings continue reducing that subsidy, the long-term role of fees remains one of Bitcoin mining’s most important economic questions.

🏦 FED DECISION DAY: BITCOIN FACES A MAJOR MACRO TEST
The Federal Reserve delivers its September interest-rate decision today.
The current federal funds target range is 3.50%–3.75%.
Markets are heavily positioned for a rate increase, but the decision itself is not confirmed until the Fed publishes its statement.
Also arriving today:
• Updated economic projections
• New interest-rate forecasts
• Fed press conference
For Bitcoin, the rate decision matters — but the Fed’s message about what comes next may matter just as much.
Higher-for-longer expectations can pressure liquidity and risk assets.
A softer policy outlook can do the opposite.

🇺🇸 CLARITY ACT FAILS TO ADVANCE IN THE U.S. SENATE
The U.S. Senate has failed to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act.
The procedural vote ended:
49 YES
50 NO
The bill needed 60 votes to move forward.
The legislation was designed to create a broader federal market-structure framework for digital assets, including clearer roles for the SEC and CFTC.
Important distinction:
The vote does not ban Bitcoin or crypto.
It means this version of the legislation did not clear the procedural threshold needed to continue advancing through the Senate.
For the U.S. crypto industry, regulatory uncertainty remains unresolved.

• Fidelity FBTC: -$214.8M
• BlackRock IBIT: -$161.7M
• Grayscale GBTC: -$44.1M
• ARK 21Shares ARKB: -$17.4M

The outflow reverses Monday’s roughly $160M positive session.
The notable part is the concentration:

One session does not define an institutional trend — but after renewed ETF demand earlier this month, yesterday’s reversal is worth watching.

Zcash is Bitcoin built for financial freedom.
Not simply an alternative store of value — but private, self-custodial digital money built for a world where financial privacy matters.

⚙️ BITCOIN CORE 32.0 ENTERS RELEASE-CANDIDATE TESTING
Bitcoin Core developers have tagged the first release candidate for Bitcoin Core 32.0. Version: v32.0rc1
A release candidate is not the final release.
It is a near-final build made available for testing so developers and advanced users can identify problems before the production version is published.
The 32.x development branch officially split from master on Sept. 14.
The current target for the final Bitcoin Core 32.0 release is Oct. 10.
Bitcoin development rarely produces flashy headlines.
But this testing process is how changes reach one of the most important software implementations securing and validating the Bitcoin network.

🏦 FED HIKES RATES — AND SIGNALS MORE TIGHTENING MAY COME
The Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 25 basis points to a target range of 3.75%–4.00%.
It was the Fed’s first rate increase since 2023.
The decision was unanimous.
More importantly for Bitcoin, the Fed’s new projections put the median policy rate at 4.1% by the end of 2026 — consistent with another quarter-point increase if that path is realized.
The Fed also raised its 2026 inflation projection:
• PCE inflation: 3.7%
• Core PCE: 3.4%
For BTC, the immediate decision is now known.
The next question is how long tighter financial conditions remain in place.
