₿ STRIVE BUYS 2,000 MORE BITCOIN — HOLDINGS REACH 29,462 BTC

Another public Bitcoin treasury company has made a major purchase.

Strive acquired:

2,000 BTC

The company spent approximately:

$169 MILLION

at an average price of roughly:

$84,422 PER BTC

The purchase brings Strive's total Bitcoin holdings to:

29,462 BTC

That makes this the company's largest Bitcoin purchase since June.

Strive also disclosed that it acquired:

8,137 BTC

during the third quarter at an average price of approximately $78,885.

The latest purchase was financed primarily through capital raised from Strive's SATA preferred shares, along with warrant exercises.

Important:

This is not simply excess corporate cash being converted into Bitcoin.

Strive is deliberately building a capital structure designed to raise money and expand its BTC treasury.

And the corporate leaderboard is becoming increasingly competitive.

Current disclosed holdings include:

• Strategy: 848,000 BTC
• Metaplanet: 44,000 BTC
• Twenty One: 43,514 BTC
• MARA: 35,577 BTC
• Strive: 29,462 BTC

Bitcoin treasury companies are no longer just copying Strategy.

They are starting to compete with each other for scale.

⚡ USDT IS COMING BACK TO BITCOIN AFTER MORE THAN A DECADE

The world's largest stablecoin is preparing to return to Bitcoin.

Tether-backed infrastructure company Utexo plans to begin issuing USDT on Bitcoin this month.

USDT originally launched on Bitcoin in 2014 before most stablecoin activity migrated to networks such as Ethereum and Tron.

This new implementation is very different.

Utexo plans to use RGB technology to enable:

• Private USDT transfers
• Direct BTC ↔ USDT swaps
• Bitcoin-backed lending
• Settlement anchored to Bitcoin UTXOs

Most transaction information would remain off Bitcoin's public blockchain through client-side validation.

Bitcoin would provide the underlying ownership and settlement anchor.

Utexo also plans to expand the system to:

THE LIGHTNING NETWORK

after the initial Bitcoin launch.

Important distinction:

USDT is NOT being added directly to Bitcoin's consensus rules.

Bitcoin itself is not being modified.

RGB assets use Bitcoin transactions and UTXOs as cryptographic anchors while most asset data exists outside the base blockchain.

And the launch is still expected — it is not yet the dominant USDT network overnight.

But the bigger development is notable:

Bitcoin could increasingly become settlement infrastructure for both:

BTC

and dollar-denominated payments.

Bitcoin was built to move value.

Now one of the world's largest digital dollars is trying to use those rails again.

📉 BITCOIN DROPS BELOW $84K AS OIL AND TREASURY YIELDS JUMP

Bitcoin came under renewed pressure overnight as geopolitical risk pushed oil, the U.S. dollar and Treasury yields higher.

BTC fell from roughly:

$86,600

to an intraday low near:

$83,840

before recovering slightly above $84,000.

At the same time:

• Brent crude climbed toward $101.50
• U.S. 10-year yield rose to roughly 5.31%
• The dollar strengthened
• Major altcoins fell even harder than BTC

The move followed renewed attacks on oil tankers near the Strait of Hormuz, adding another inflation risk to an already difficult macro environment.

Important:

This is not just a crypto-specific selloff.

Higher oil prices can feed inflation.

Higher inflation can keep interest rates elevated.

And higher Treasury yields increase the return investors can earn without taking Bitcoin risk.

One technical level now matters:

$83,000

Analysts have identified a sustained break below that area as a potential signal that sellers have taken stronger control, with $80,000 becoming the next major zone.

Meanwhile, markets are waiting for the Federal Reserve's September meeting minutes later today.

Bitcoin is caught between improving institutional demand and one of the toughest macro environments in years.

🏦 BITCOIN ETFs PULL IN $118.8M AS BLACKROCK LEADS THE REBOUND

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs returned to positive flows on Tuesday.

The funds recorded approximately:
+$118.8 MILLION
in total net inflows on October 6.

BlackRock's IBIT dominated the session with:
+$122 MILLION
Other reported flows included:
• Morgan Stanley MSBT: +$7.8M
• Grayscale BTC: -$11.0M
• Most other funds: flat
The positive session came immediately after:
-$89.8M
of net outflows on October 5.

So institutional demand has flipped direction again.

Important:
One positive ETF session does NOT confirm a new trend.
Bitcoin ETF flows have been volatile over the past week.

But there is one notable detail:
BlackRock alone absorbed more than 80,000 range.

That means institutional buyers were still adding exposure even as the broader market faced pressure from:
• Higher Treasury yields
• A stronger dollar
• Rising oil prices
• Geopolitical uncertainty
Price tells us what Bitcoin is doing.

ETF flows tell us whether regulated capital is still willing to buy it.

Yesterday, the answer was yes.

🇺🇸 U.S. GOVERNMENT MOVES 833.6 BTC TOWARD COINBASE PRIME

Wallets linked to the U.S. government moved a significant amount of Bitcoin on Tuesday.

According to on-chain tracking data, approximately:

833.6 BTC

worth about:

$71.6 MILLION

was transferred from government-linked wallets.

The Bitcoin came from assets seized in two separate cases:

• Potapenko / Turogin forfeited funds
• Bitcoin recovered from the Bitfinex hack

The BTC first moved to intermediary addresses.

Those addresses later sent the coins to wallets identified by Arkham as:

COINBASE PRIME DEPOSIT ADDRESSES

Important:

A transfer is NOT the same thing as a confirmed sale.

Moving Bitcoin to Coinbase Prime could potentially be related to:

• Custody
• Settlement
• Asset administration
• A future sale

Blockchain data alone does not prove which one.

The U.S. government also moved roughly $31.6 million in BNB from assets seized from Alameda Research.

Altogether, more than:

$100 MILLION

in government-linked crypto moved during the day.

The U.S. still controls roughly $27.5 billion worth of seized cryptocurrency.

So the real story is not that Washington sold Bitcoin.

It is that one of the world's largest government-controlled crypto portfolios is moving again.

⚡ EUROPEAN BUSINESSES GET BITCOIN + EURO ACCOUNTS WITH SELF-CUSTODY

A new European business banking product is trying to connect Bitcoin directly with traditional company finances.

Bringin has launched an invite-only beta allowing businesses to manage:

• Bitcoin
• Euros
• Stablecoins
• SEPA payments

inside the same platform.

Each company receives a euro vIBAN in its own name.

Businesses can also:

• Accept Bitcoin payments
• Accept Lightning payments
• Pay suppliers in Bitcoin
• Run payroll using Bitcoin
• Convert between BTC and euros
• Integrate accounting and tax tools

The company says businesses remain in control of their Bitcoin keys.

Keys are generated inside a hardware-isolated secure environment, and Bringin says it never has access to the raw private key.

The service is already being tested by:

15 BUSINESSES

and is available across:

30 EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Important:

This is currently an invite-only beta.

And this is not a bank replacing Bitcoin self-custody.

The interesting part is the bridge being built between the two systems:

Bitcoin + Lightning on one side.

SEPA + euro banking on the other.

For Bitcoin adoption, infrastructure like this matters.

Businesses don't only need a way to buy BTC.

They need a way to actually operate with it.

📉 BITCOIN BREAKS BELOW $83K AS OIL AND YIELDS KEEP RISING

Bitcoin has broken below another key support level.
BTC fell to just under:
$82,800
during Thursday's Asian session.

The move comes after Bitcoin already lost the $84,000 level earlier this week.

At the same time:
• Brent crude moved above $102
• U.S. 10-year yield climbed toward 5.31%
• The dollar remains near an 18-month high
• Roughly $550M in leveraged crypto positions were liquidated

Most of those liquidations came from traders positioned for higher prices.

The macro pressure is coming from several directions at once.

Higher oil prices increase inflation risk.
Higher inflation can keep the Federal Reserve restrictive.

Higher Treasury yields increase the return available outside risk assets like Bitcoin.
Important:

The $83,000 area had already been identified as a major short-term support zone.
Bitcoin has now broken below it.

Analysts at FxPro said losing that level could open a relatively quick path toward:
$80,000

That does NOT mean $80K is guaranteed.
But the market structure has clearly weakened.

Bitcoin now needs to reclaim the low-$83K area quickly — or the next psychological battle could happen at $80,000.

🏦 BITCOIN ETFs BLEED $484.9M IN ONE DAY

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs just posted their largest outflow session of October.

On October 7, the funds recorded approximately:

-$484.9 MILLION

in combined net flows.

Some of the biggest withdrawals came from:

• BlackRock IBIT: -$207.7M
• Fidelity FBTC: -$105.1M
• ARK 21Shares ARKB: -$101.7M
• Grayscale GBTC: -$39.3M
• Bitwise BITB: -$27.6M

The reversal is sharp.

Just one day earlier, the ETF group recorded:

+$118.8M

in net inflows.

Important:

One bad ETF session does NOT automatically mean institutional demand for Bitcoin has disappeared.

ETF flows can swing significantly from day to day.

But the timing matters.

The withdrawals arrived as Bitcoin was breaking lower under heavy pressure from:

• Rising Treasury yields
• A stronger dollar
• Higher oil prices
• Leveraged liquidations

And BlackRock's IBIT alone saw more than $200 million leave the fund.

Yesterday institutional buyers stepped in.

One session later, almost half a billion dollars moved the other way.

ETF demand has become volatile again.

🟢 ROBINHOOD PUTS $25 MILLION OF BITCOIN ON ITS OWN BALANCE SHEET

Robinhood is no longer only helping customers buy Bitcoin.

The company has now bought BTC for itself.

Robinhood added:

$25 MILLION

worth of Bitcoin to its corporate balance sheet.

Johann Kerbrat, Robinhood's head of crypto and international, said the purchase is meant to show the company's alignment with Bitcoin and the broader crypto ecosystem.

Important distinction:

This Bitcoin belongs to Robinhood itself.

It is separate from BTC held on behalf of customers.

The size is relatively small compared with Robinhood's roughly $100 billion market capitalization.

And Kerbrat acknowledged that the purchase is not large enough to materially change the company's financial trajectory.

So the signal may matter more than the amount.

Robinhood already operates:

• Crypto trading
• A crypto wallet
• Tokenized stocks
• Robinhood Chain
• Expanding derivatives products

Now Bitcoin is also sitting directly on the company's own balance sheet.

Strategy built the corporate Bitcoin treasury model.

Other companies are increasingly deciding they want some BTC of their own.

🏦 RUSSIA'S LARGEST BANK GETS APPROVAL TO CUSTODY BITCOIN

Russia's largest bank is moving Bitcoin directly into traditional banking infrastructure.

Sberbank says the Bank of Russia has approved it to provide:

BITCOIN CUSTODY

and facilitate transfers of digital assets.

The approval covers Bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies.

Customers will eventually be able to access the service through platforms they already use:

• SberBank Online
• SberInvestments
• SberBusiness

No separate crypto app is required.

Sberbank says the system will include familiar banking controls such as:

• Customer identification
• Transaction monitoring
• Reporting
• Digital asset record-keeping

The initial rollout will be limited to a smaller group of customers before broader availability.

Important distinction:

Russia has NOT made Bitcoin legal tender.

Using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to pay directly for goods and services inside Russia remains prohibited.

This development is about:

CUSTODY AND TRANSFERS

not unrestricted Bitcoin payments.

Still, the infrastructure shift is significant.

Russia's largest bank can now place Bitcoin inside the same interface customers already use for traditional banking.

Bitcoin is increasingly moving from something banks connect customers to...

to something banks themselves are being authorized to custody.

📈 BITCOIN REBOUNDS TOWARD $82K AS OIL FEARS EASE

Bitcoin recovered toward the $82,000 area after a difficult week for risk assets.

The move came as geopolitical fears eased and oil prices pulled back from recent highs.

Earlier this week, BTC had fallen toward:
$81,000
as markets reacted to:
• Brent crude above $100
• Treasury yields near multi-decade highs
• A stronger U.S. dollar
• Heavy Bitcoin ETF outflows

The macro picture improved slightly after the U.S. ruled out an immediate military strike on Iran before the midterm elections.

That helped reduce some of the pressure on oil and risk assets.

Important:
A rebound to $82K does NOT mean the correction is over.
Bitcoin is still trading well below the 87K resistance zone that rejected buyers several times.

The level traders are now watching closely is:
$80,000

If buyers continue defending that zone, BTC may remain inside its broader Q4 range.
If it breaks decisively, the market structure becomes much weaker.

Bitcoin just got some breathing room.
Now it has to prove buyers are still there.

🏦 BITCOIN ETFs LOSE $723.5M IN TWO TRADING SESSIONS

Institutional Bitcoin flows have reversed sharply.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately:

-$484.9 MILLION

in net outflows on October 7.

Then another:

-$238.6 MILLION

left the funds on October 8.

Two-day total:

-$723.5 MILLION

The October 7 session was particularly broad.

Major withdrawals included:

• BlackRock IBIT: -$207.7M
• Fidelity FBTC: -$105.1M
• ARK 21Shares: -$101.7M

Important:

Large ETF outflows do NOT automatically mean institutions have abandoned Bitcoin.

The funds have experienced substantial redemptions before and later returned to positive flows.

But the timing matters.

The withdrawals arrived while BTC was already under pressure from:

• Rising oil
• High Treasury yields
• A stronger dollar
• Weak risk appetite

ETF buying helped support Bitcoin's September recovery.

Now those same flows have become a source of pressure.

The next few sessions will show whether this is temporary profit-taking —

or the beginning of a more sustained institutional pullback.

🏦 JPMORGAN: $50 BILLION HAS FLOWED INTO DIGITAL ASSETS IN 2026

JPMorgan says investment flows into digital assets have reached approximately:

$50 BILLION

so far this year.

The bank estimates that current activity is running at an annualized pace of roughly:

$66 BILLION

One of the biggest changes has happened in the third quarter.

According to JPMorgan:

• ETF flows recovered
• CME futures positioning increased
• Bitcoin futures positioning moved above its previous peak
• Institutional participation strengthened

The bank also estimates that Bitcoin miners have sold a net:

$1.8 BILLION

worth of BTC this year.

Publicly listed miners accounted for most of those sales.

Why?

Some miners are increasingly redirecting capital toward AI and data-center infrastructure.

Important:

The $50 billion figure covers the broader digital-asset market.

It is NOT $50 billion flowing only into Bitcoin.

But Bitcoin remains a major part of the institutional positioning JPMorgan is tracking.

The picture is becoming more complicated.

ETF flows can be volatile day to day.

But beneath that volatility, institutional exposure to Bitcoin through futures and regulated products remains substantial.

📊 QCP SEES BITCOIN TRADING BETWEEN $80K AND $90K IN Q4

QCP Capital has published its base-case outlook for Bitcoin through the fourth quarter.

Its expected range:
$80,000 — $90,000

The firm identifies roughly:
82K as a potential buying zone.

On the other side, QCP says it would reduce exposure around: 90K if Bitcoin ETF inflows fail to recover.

The firm's scenarios include:
• Base case: 90K
• Bull case: above $100K
• Bear case: below 70K

What would support the bull case?
• Strong ETF inflows
• Lower real yields
• A softer dollar
• Federal Reserve pause
• Growth in stablecoin supply
• Progress on U.S. crypto legislation

The bear case would become more likely if:
• Oil rises further
• The Fed tightens again
• ETF outflows accelerate
• Corporate Bitcoin holders face selling pressure

Important:
This is an analyst framework — NOT a price guarantee.
But it captures the battle currently driving Bitcoin.

The market has strong institutional infrastructure.
It also has extremely restrictive macro conditions.
For now, $80K and $90K define the battlefield.

⚙️ SIMPLE MINING BUYS 8 MW BITCOIN MINING SITE IN IOWA

Bitcoin mining infrastructure continues expanding in the United States.

Simple Mining has acquired an approximately:

8 MW

Bitcoin mining facility in Iowa from Sphere 3D.

The site can support roughly:

2,200

latest-generation Bitcoin miners.

The acquisition brings Simple Mining's total Iowa platform to nearly:

160 MW

The company says the facility is already fully energized.

Its broader operation now includes:

• Mining machine sales
• Hosting
• ASIC repairs
• Site operations
• More than 40,000 machines under management

Important:

Simple Mining is not primarily buying Bitcoin for its balance sheet.

It is building physical infrastructure that other miners can use.

That distinction matters.

Bitcoin mining ultimately depends on:

• Electricity
• Grid connections
• Land
• Cooling
• ASIC hardware
• Operational capacity

And energized sites are becoming increasingly valuable as both Bitcoin mining and AI data centers compete for power.

Bitcoin may be digital.

But the infrastructure securing it is very physical.

🌍 THREE COUNTRIES HOST 65.4% OF ESTIMATED BITCOIN HASHRATE

Bitcoin mining is global.

But most estimated mining power remains concentrated in just three countries.

According to Hashrate Index's latest geographic estimates:

🇺🇸 United States: 35.6%
🇷🇺 Russia: 18.1%
🇨🇳 China: 11.7%

Combined:

65.4%

of estimated global Bitcoin hashrate.

The balance is also shifting.

Since the previous report:

• U.S. share fell from 36.7%
• Russia rose from 17.2%
• China fell from 12.2%

Estimated global network hashrate remained nearly flat at roughly:

941 EH/s

One of the most notable changes is Russia.

Its estimated hashrate increased from about:

162 EH/s → 170 EH/s

Important distinction:

These are geographic estimates.

They do NOT tell us:

• Who owns the mining machines
• Who controls the mining pools
• Who chooses transactions for blocks

Location is not the same thing as control.

Still, mining geography matters.

Energy policy, regulation and power availability can change where Bitcoin's security infrastructure operates.

The network stays global.

The map underneath it keeps moving.

@BitcoinNews
⚡ BITCOIN DIFFICULTY BARELY MOVES — JUST -0.03%

Bitcoin just recorded one of its smallest mining difficulty adjustments in years.

At block:

969,696

the network reduced mining difficulty by only:

0.03%

New difficulty:

132.72 TRILLION

The previous level was approximately:

132.76 TRILLION

That makes the latest adjustment essentially flat.

In fact, the move was reportedly the smallest Bitcoin difficulty retarget since 2020.

Why does Bitcoin adjust difficulty?

Every 2,016 blocks, the network automatically changes how difficult it is for miners to find a new block.

The goal is simple:

Keep average block production close to one block every 10 minutes.

If blocks arrive too quickly:

Difficulty rises.

If blocks arrive too slowly:

Difficulty falls.

Important:

Nobody votes on this adjustment.

No company decides it.

No government approves it.

The change happens automatically under Bitcoin's consensus rules.

After major shifts in mining activity earlier this year, the latest retarget says something interesting:

For this two-week period, Bitcoin's mining competition was almost perfectly balanced.
