🔆 CHALLENGES
🟢 Limited scale compared with India’s vast artisan workforce.

🟢 Marketplace commissions, return logistics and machine-made imitations can reduce profit margins.
🟢 Overlapping brands and schemes may dilute market recognition.
🟢 Long-term success requires consistent quality, design adaptation and lasting buyer relationships.

✍️ MAINS QUESTION (10 MARKS | 150 WORDS)
“For India’s traditional artisans, the binding constraint is market access rather than skill.” Examine this statement in the context of government initiatives using common branding and digital platforms to support artisans from marginalised communities.
