🇦🇿 Azerbaijan exported 524,337.96 tonnes of crude oil to India in January–September 2026, a 4.9-fold increase compared with the same period last year.

This is one of the clearest signs of the normalization of bilateral relations and demonstrates that the process had already begun before Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar's visit to Baku in October.

Bilateral trade between the two countries amounted to $401 million last year, compared with the peak of $1.8 billion recorded in 2022. There is significant potential for trade to recover to, and even surpass, that level in the near future. Bilateral trade had already exceeded $600 million in the first nine months of this year.

DGCA Mandates Two Pilots on Helicopters Flying to Char Dham After Crash Kills 6 in Uttarakhand.

Following a helicopter crash that killed six people in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has mandated two pilots for all Char Dham helicopter charter flights from November 2.

Operators must also obtain prior destination and en-route clearances for every flight sector. However, helicopter operators have threatened to suspend services in protest against the new directive.

The goal is to re-energize the stagnant equity market.



🔘Domestic mutual fund investors may also get LTCG tax relief

This relief will apply when they sell existing holdings and reinvest the money into new schemes (specifically, switching units held for more than a year will not be treated as a taxable sale).
