Global Private Equity Debuts in Indian Military Tech

Carlyle, along with co-investors Yali Capital and Florintree’s Mathew Cyriac, is acquiring a 60% stake in Bengaluru-based Micropack, a leading printed circuit boards (PCBs) manufacturers for clients such as ISRO, DRDO, and Data Patterns, serving #Defence, #Aviation, avionics, #telecom, and industrial #electronics, with defence and avionics as its core segments, for ₹1,175 crore ($125 million).

L&T will invest ₹5,000 crore over five years to expand manufacturing, R&D, and product development.
