The player is not considering any of that at the moment. He also immediately turned down Al-Nassr and Al-Qadisiyah. Kim’s clear plan is to stay and establish himself at FC Bayern. While he likely wants to stay in Bavaria, a spot on the bench could dissuade him from wanting to stick around. Dayot Upamecano seems like he will, once again, get a spot in the starting lineup, while Bayern Munich is also pursuing Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah pretty heavily as well. Min-jae and Eric Dier could be on the outside looking-in at the starting XI. Done deal for Guirassy, BVB (@Plettigoal)Borussia Dortmund and VfB Stuttgart attacker Serhou Guirassy appear to have their new relationship all set for a signing. FC Bourgoin-Jallieu v Olympique Lyonnais - French Cup 2024/2025 Photo by Eurasia Sport Images/Getty Images Rayan Cherki is on Bayern Munich’s list...but not at the top. According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich is interested in Lyon’s Rayan Cherki, but rumors of just how close the club is with Cherki have been overblown: FC Bayern are monitoring Rayan #Cherki and have gathered all relevant information about his future plans. Bayern are also aware that he would cost only €22-23m in winter or summer. However, reports of an alleged phone call between Max Eberl and Cherki have been denied by all parties. Cherki is currently not at the very top of Bayern’s list.⚠️ Jamie #Gittens and Nico #Williams remain two of the top targets for the wing positions in the summer, as previously revealed.Cherki’s price is significantly lower than it will cost to Gittens or Williams. With so much uncertainty in the attacking group ahead of next season, Bayern Munich might be more open to a cost effective option in the coming months. Bayern Munich is in the midst of a number of important contract situation, so let’s talk about them on the Bavarian Podcast Works Show! Is Jamal Musiala a big enough draw to lure other top flight players (like Cristiano Ronaldo or Leo Messi)? Will Bayern end up paying too much for Alphonso Davies? Athletic de Bilbao v AS Roma - UEFA Europa League Photo by Cesar Ortiz Gonzalez/Soccrates/Getty Images MATCH DAY! Bayern Munich vs. Union Berlin... Bayern eyeing winger options for summer (@Plettigoal)For months, it has been rumored that Bayern Munich is seeking to refresh the winger position. It might be hard to clear room for new wingers given the clutter of Michael Olise, Leroy Sané, Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry, and Bryan Zaragoza (assuming he returns from his loan at Osasuna), but that is not stopping Bayern Munich from scoping Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens, Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, and Olympique Lyonnais’ Rayan Cherki: At least one new winger is set to join FC Bayern in the upcoming summer transfer window, with various options being considered.Jamie #Gittens and Nico #Williams remain high on the list, as exclusively revealed. How seriously Bayern will enter the race largely depends on the price, as their top priority remains Florian #Wirtz.Bayern are also still monitoring Rayan #Cherki and have already gathered all relevant information about his future plans in January.Cherki might be known more for his play as an attacking midfielder, but it is clear that that Bayern Munich wants a different look at the position. Can Max Eberl clear enough roster space to make it happen?Boniface to Hammers? (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk via 90Min.com)West Ham has interest in Bayer Leverkusen attacker Victor Boniface: West Ham United have joined the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface.Bavarian Podcast Works — Preview Show: Union Berlin vs. Bayern Munich (Bavarian Football Works)Bayern Munich is riding high coming off of a massive Champions League tie victory over Bayer Leverkusen, but the Bavarians have to maintain focus if they want to avoid what looks like an obvious trap game on the schedule. With the international break looming, Vincent Kompany will have to ensure his team keeps its eye on an underachieving, but capable Union Berlin squad. We will dive deep into that and more during the Bavarian Podcast Works — Preview Show. Here is what we have in tap:A look into where each team falls in the Bundesliga table and some discussion on the recent form of each side. A look back at the first game between the teams earlier this season.A look at the injury/suspension situations for both teams.A guess at Bayern Munich’s starting XI.A prediction on the match.Kimmich’s salary revealed (Bild via @iMiaSanMia)Joshua Kimmich will earn €20 million per year salary according to Bild: Kimmich will continue to earn around the same salary as before for the next four years (around €20m/gross per year) [@BILD]— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) March 13, 2025Leipzig-Simons looking more like separation this summer (Get German Football News)Things continue to get worse for RB Leipzig and Xavi Simons per Sport Bild: Sport Bild reports that it is increasingly likely that Xavi Simons will leave RB Leipzig in the summer, despite the club only signing him permanently earlier this year.If RB Leipzig fails to qualify for the Champions League, which looks increasingly possible week by week, then it is very likely that Simons will leave in the summer. Recently there have been rumours that the 21-year-old has caused disruption in the dressing room. If a sale materialises, Leipzig are more than likely to make a profit on the Dutch international, and he is already attracting interest from the Premier League. Bild reports that Leipzig are interested in Mainz’s Nadiem Amiri. Whether he is a replacement or not is yet to be seen, but if Mainz qualify for the Champions League in Leipzig’s place, there would be little understanding in leaving the club that helped revive Amiri’s career. It will be interesting to see what happens with Simons. It was always curious why Paris Saint-Germain was always so eager to send such a talent out on loan. Regardless, if Bayern Munich whiffs on a deal for Florian Wirtz, it could look over toward Simons. Bavarian Podcast Works — Weekend Warm-up Show Season 4, Episode…
