The Frenchman has been plagued by injuries, and the glut of midfielders at Bayern hasn’t helped one bit. This means that publications around the world are linking him with moves all over the place. Now, Man United are the latest team to allegedly join the fray. With the future of Paul Pogba up in the air, the Red Devils apparently want to bring Tolisso to England as a replacement. If that’s true, they’re in for a nasty surprise — Tolisso isn’t really a creative AM like Pogba, but more of an all-round central midfielder. Of course, Man United not doing their homework is nothing new, but the sheer number of potential competitors they have for Tolisso’s signature is staggering.Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, and Napoli are all mentioned as possible destinations for the Frenchman. That’s a lot of clubs. In addition, the Express article also mentions that United tried to get Tolisso on loan in the winter, but were rejected — which is news to me. On principle, you probably shouldn’t believe anything written in the Express, but there’s a decent chance that Tolisso might leave Bayern this summer.
