Atletico Madrid v FC Bayern Muenchen: Group A - UEFA Champions League Photo by Jose Breton/Pics Action/NurPhoto via Getty Images Will Angelo Stiller remain at VfB Stuttgart for much longer? Former Bayern Munich youth player Angelo Stiller made waves as VfB Stuttgart finished second in the Bundesliga this second. Angelo Stiller is the exact kind of midfielder Bayern could have done with but decided to let go of. Hansi Flick, when manager of Bayern, even brought on the youngster in a UEFA Champions League group stage match against Atletico Madrid. Stiller looked to be one for the future but Bayern did not necessarily believe that at the time.It seems that Flick has Stiller back on his radar now that he is at Barcelona (@Plettigoal, @SkySportDE): Excl. | FC Barcelona are keeping an eye on Angelo #Stiller!

However, if concrete offers come in, nothing can be ruled out. Stiller perhaps could find a spot in Bavaria. Unfortunately, aging midfielders from the Premier League might be the way his old club Bayern Munich might choose to go instead.Looking for more thoughts and analysis on where the German national team stands ahead of its EURO 2024 opener against Scotland? VfB Stuttgart v FC Bayern München - Bundesliga Photo by Daniel Kopatsch/Getty Images Time to refocus for Bayern Munich vs. VfL Bochum... Stiller’s name emerged as potential replacement for Kimmich (@altobelli13 via @iMiaSanMia)It looks like Bayern Munich and Joshua Kimmich will come to an agreement shortly, but in that awkward period when things were iffy, the Bavarians might have been kicking the tires on an old friend — VfB Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller: During the discussions over Joshua Kimmich’s future. Angelo Stiller’s name was mentioned as a potential replacement. The midfielder has a €36.5m release clause, but only valid in summer 2026. For summer 2025, a move is currently not planned, unless a club comes in with a big offer that the player and VfB have to consider.Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg also chimed in with information about a potential release clause in Stiller’s contract with VfB Stuttgart that could have conceivably made it a doable deal for Bayern Munich. However, VfB Stuttgart could have made things difficult with a buyout option within the release clause: VfB Stuttgart can buy out Angelo #Stiller’s release clause, valid from summer 2026, at any time for around €2m!When finalizing the release clause (up to €40m, depending on the buying club) #VfB contractually secured the right to buy it out at any time.Stiller would not be able to reject this VfB sum. In this case, he would receive the amount immediately, and his contract would not be extended. Only the release clause would become void as soon as the €2m is transferred.Because of this option, Stuttgart remain relaxed. Contract until 2028.Of course, this is all likely moot given how close Kimmich is rumored to be in completing a new deal with Bayern Munich: Joshua Kimmich is on the verge of extending his contract at FC Bayern. The talks today were very positive. AC Milan looks unlikely to negotiate to keep the forward after his loan from Chelsea ends after the season: AC Milan are set to part ways with on-loan forward João Félix at the end of the season once his loan from Chelsea expires.Who will be the next team to be enamored for the Portuguese attacker?Bavarian Podcast Works — Weekend Warm-up Show Season 4, Episode 34 (Bavarian Football Works)Bayern Munich is coming off a good week, but it was not without absorbing some damage. Let’s talk about everything going on at the moment on the Bavarian Podcast Works — Weekend Warm-up Show: We blew right past our 1,000th episode — which was our Postgame Show after Bayern Munich’s win over Bayer Leverkusen. We’ll explain why!Bayern Munich’s effort against Bayer Leverkusen was exactly what we have all been waiting — and wanting — to see. Now...the Bavarians must avoid a letdown. Manuel Neuer getting hurt while celebrating is something all of us old heads can relate to. Joshua Kimmich’s situation is nearing its end. DSC Arminia Bielefeld v VfB Stuttgart - DFB Cup Final 2025 Photo by Marvin Ibo Guengoer - GES Sportfoto/Getty Images Angelo Stiller could be making a big transfer! Fresh off of his DFB-Pokal victory with VfB Stuttgart, former Bayern Munich academy star Angelo Stiller could be set for a massive move to Real Madrid per transfer expert Nicolò Schira: Excl. - Agreement in principle between #RealMadrid and Angelo #Stiller for a contract until 2030. Real Madrid are now working to reach a deal with #Stuttgart. Talks in progress. #transfersStill just 24-years-old, Stiller has made quite the career for himself with Hoffenheim and VfB Stuttgart since leaving Bayern Munich. Stiller has worked himself into a player consistently in the mix for the German national team and also a player who has become one of the underrated gems in Europe. Earlier this spring, Stiller was very loosely linked to FC Barcelona. Would a move to Real Madrid be too much, too soon for Stiller? If this report is true and things go through, we will soon find out. Looking for some final thoughts on the Florian Wirtz saga?
