Switzerland v Spain - UEFA Euro 2020: Quarter-finalPhoto by Gonzalo Arroyo - UEFA/UEFA via Getty ImagesCould Julian Nagelsmann be looking to bring in one of his old players?RB Leipzig star Dani Olmo opened up some eyes globally with his play for Spain in the European Championships, but Bundesliga fans were already well aware of the talent that the 23-year-old holds. One club that might be willing to make a move to acquire that talent is Bayern Munich — per Italian journalist Rudy Galetti. In a tweet, Galetti stated that Olmo is being eyed by several top clubs, including the Bavarians. What makes the prospect of Olmo joining Bayern Munich a little more tangible than some other clubs is that Olmo’s former boss — Julian Nagelsmann — is now at the helm of the German giants:Dani #Olmo, protagonist of the #Euro2020 semifinal against #Italy, is followed by many top clubs in Europe. Above all #BayernMunich: #Nagelsmann coached him at #RBLeipzig and would like him back in #Bavaria. #Atleti and #RealMadrid are interested too. ⚽️ #Transfers— Rudy Galetti (@RudyGaletti) July 8, 2021Olmo, who is currently valued at €45 million by Transfermarkt, is certainly too expensive for Bayern Munich to chase during this window. With a contract ending in 2024, however, Bayern Munich could be in a position to bid on the versatile Spaniard next summer.Olmo, who has recently been linked to Real Madrid, can play as an attacking midfielder or at either wing position. Nagelsmann values that type of versatility for his roster and his familiarity with Olmo could make things very interesting next summer.

Should Rüdiger bolt Chelsea, the Premier League club could make a strong pitch to Bayern Munich defender Niklas Süle, who is also a free agent in the summer.Bayern Munich has openly spoke about wanting to retain Süle, but that could prove difficult should Chelsea start throwing around massive money.

Indeed, as per the report, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are among four Premier League clubs interested in the Barcelona forward. When debating the topic, the main argument is not Rice’s quality or even how much money it would take, but if this is even a move that he would consider making at this stage of his career. Pundit Dean Jones says he knows a little information that could spoil the hopes of Bayern Munich fans who are optimistic about a move: According to Dean Jones, there isn’t much basis to these rumours. Speaking on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast, Jones said that he’s not sure Rice will move to Bayern Munich, saying that he knows people close to Declan Rice and that one of those people actually laughed when he asked about a move to Bayern.Jones shared what happened when he asked about Bayern Munich.“Declan Rice does not have a desire to join Bayern Munich ahead of the other clubs that are in for him. I’m not saying it’s impossible, nothing is ever impossible, but everything I know about this, and I know people who are really close with Declan Rice, one of them literally laughed when I asked if he’ll sign for Bayern Munich, he’s very home-orientated, and they’re so close. He doesn’t want to step out of that,” Jones said. There is no reason to doubt the story — it seems conceivable. The thought of Rice moving to Germany and leaving the Premier League during his prime years does seem unthinkable. Crazier things have happened, but the Bavarians are likely trying to swim upstream on this pursuit. Most fans agree that it would be great, but many are also very skeptical that it can get done. The closer Davies gets to the end of his contract (2025), the more efficient of a purchase he could become for his prospective suitors. The agent for Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies, Nedal Huoseh, cannot stop talking about his client’s future in Bavaria — and the possibilities associated with a transfer to Real Madrid. “Real Madrid is a big club. I’ve always been a fan. Not to take anything away from Bayern, they’re a big club. But Real is a big name, big brand, 14 Champions League (titles). When you hear the rumors about interest in a player you manage, it makes you proud,” Huoseh told Fabrizio Romano (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). Huoseh then carried on about why some of these rumors might be hitting the media. “We had very positive discussions with Hasan (Salihamidžić) and Marco (Neppe). We were almost there. I woke up the next day and saw the management news in the media. I was in Munich, and waited, nobody reached out,” Househ remarked. “We still have two years with Bayern. We’re taking our time right now to see how things develop in the next few weeks/months. We haven’t made a final decision on anything right now. I can’t confirm anything, and can’t deny anything.”The last few days have represented a lot of public posturing and grandstanding from Huoseh and it remains to be seen if this helps — or hurts — the chances for Bayern Munich to ink Davies to a contract extension. Surely, the Bayern Munich executives are not fans of Huoseh dancing around the Real Madrid interest in a public forum. As for Davies, he is not saying a lot at the moment. After a season that some consider to be mediocre and that was also tumultuous on-and-off the field at times, Davies will be looking to play to his lofty potential next season (no matter where he suits up). With a contract that runs through 2025, there is no hurry for Bayern Munich to get a deal done this very second, but the Rekordmeister would surely not like to see Davies enter into the final year of his contract as a lame duck. Given the Canadian’s value on the open market, Bayern Munich either needs to get…

Bayern Munich - 1. FC Union Berlin Photo by Sven Hoppe/picture alliance via Getty Images This would be a good time for Bayern Munich and Real Madrid to have a chat. According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, Real Madrid is contemplating making a move for Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mané: #RealMadrid are evaluating the situation of Sadio #Mané, as possible reinforcement in the summer transfer session. #RMCF The (Senegal) left-winger has a contract with #BayernMunich expiring in 2025.The price tag set by the club is at around €25/30m. This news comes at a very interesting time as Bayern Munich is working to re-shape its roster and could sell as many as three wingers during the summer transfer window. According to recent reports, Mané, Leroy Sané, and Serge Gnabry could transfer away in the coming weeks, which could bring Bayern Munich some extra revenue as it looks to add several players for next season. Mané’s 2022/23 campaign was marred by a locker room altercation with former manager Julian Nagelsmann, a fight with Sané, way too many offside calls, and a general state of inconsistency. A change of scenery might be just what the Senegal international needs.

FC Bayern München v Bayer 04 Leverkusen - Bundesliga Photo by Sebastian Widmann/Bundesliga/Bundesliga Collection via Getty Images Of course, Leverkusen won't like this one bit. Much to the surprise of Brazil supporters, Real Madrid have extended the contract of head coach Carlo Ancelotti to 2026. While this will doubtless have a number of major consequences for the footballing world, for Bayern Munich it means only one thing. Xabi Alonso has just lost his #1 potential suitor, leaving him open for a swoop by the Bavarians in 2024.Of course, Bayer Leverkusen would be loath to let that happen. They finally have a coach who can unlock the potential of a squad of perennial underachievers — under Xabi Alonso, Bayer Leverkusen ended the first half of the season unbeaten in all competitions, a feat surpassing even Pep Guardiola's juggernaut Bayern Munich teams. However, reports have indicated that Xabi would be willing to leave his project at Leverkusen should a call come from one of his former clubs — Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, or Liverpool FC. It wouldn't come cheap, but one of those clubs could certainly come knocking this summer as the Spaniard's stock continues to rise. Official Announcement: Carlo Ancelotti signs contract renewal#Ancelotti2026 | #RealMadrid— Real Madrid C.F. (@realmadriden) December 29, 2023Madrid have just put themselves out of the running by extending Carlo. Liverpool are committed to Jurgen Klopp for the foreseeable future. That just leaves Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich — the only coach of the three who isn’t quite secure in his position. With failures in both the DFL Supercup and DFB-Pokal already under his belt, Tuchel could find himself out of a job if he goes trophyless this campaign, opening the door to Xabi Alonso. Of course, this is all just speculation for the moment — no one can say what Bayern are planning. Tuchel could still go on to win the Champions League from here, which would not only guarantee him job security but also a likely contract extension with a pay rise. All this development does is signify to the Bayern board that non-Tuchel options are available. The coach will have to be laser-focused on achieving his targets in the second half of the season.

DSC Arminia Bielefeld v VfB Stuttgart - DFB Cup Final 2025 Photo by Marvin Ibo Guengoer - GES Sportfoto/Getty Images Angelo Stiller could be making a big transfer! Fresh off of his DFB-Pokal victory with VfB Stuttgart, former Bayern Munich academy star Angelo Stiller could be set for a massive move to Real Madrid per transfer expert Nicolò Schira: Excl. - Agreement in principle between #RealMadrid and Angelo #Stiller for a contract until 2030. Real Madrid are now working to reach a deal with #Stuttgart. Talks in progress. #transfersStill just 24-years-old, Stiller has made quite the career for himself with Hoffenheim and VfB Stuttgart since leaving Bayern Munich. Stiller has worked himself into a player consistently in the mix for the German national team and also a player who has become one of the underrated gems in Europe. Earlier this spring, Stiller was very loosely linked to FC Barcelona. Would a move to Real Madrid be too much, too soon for Stiller? If this report is true and things go through, we will soon find out. Looking for some final thoughts on the Florian Wirtz saga?
