FBL-EURO-2024-QUALIFIER-GIB-FRA It is quite the battle between PL clubs for who gets Pavard. | Photo by FRANCK FIFE/AFP via Getty Images The Frenchman’s definitely leaving, but where to? Preferably the club that gives us the most amount of money! This transfer window pre-season has been an interesting series of events for Bayern Munich. Lucas Hernandez and Daley Blind both left the club, the former to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain and the latter to Serie A club Girona. The future of several other players — among them Benjamin Pavard — remains uncertain.Pavard has had one foot out the door and the other foot inside for years. The sheer number of transfer rumours surrounding the Frenchman on a regular basis is astounding. Per Florian Pletternberg, Bayern is waiting for an actual offer to materialize for Pavard, who has the likes of Manchester City, Juventus and Manchester United courting him. Pep Guardiola is known to be interested in purchasing Pavard and City have already spoken to the defender’s management. However, there seem to be no agreements in place as yet. ℹ️ #Pavard: FC Bayern, waiting for concrete offers now!

Talks between the players management and ManCity took place as #Guardiola is very interested in Pavard. But there are no agreements yet.

➡️ At this stage, it’s a race between #MCFC, ManUtd and Juventus. @SkySportDE pic.twitter.com/NJq8y6Dwjq— Florian Plettenberg (@Plettigoal) July 15, 2023While it looks certain that Benji is definitely done with the club, what remains yet to be seen is the fee that Bayern could make out of selling him. Though previous reports state that the club wants at least 30 million euros, surely, they wouldn't mind a bidding war that results in a lot more than that...

Manchester City v Newcastle United - Premier League Photo by Neal Simpson/Sportsphoto/Allstar via Getty Images Bayern Munich won’t give up on Kyle Walker. According to a report from L’Equipe journalist Loïc Tanzi (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich took another swing at trying to land Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker, but much like its previous attempt, the Bavarians struck out. The latest proposal to Pep Guardiola for Walker comes at a key time. With Josip Stanišić away on loan to Bayer Leverkusen and Benjamin Pavard drawing serious interest from both Inter Milan and Manchester United, Bayern Munich could go from having right-back as a position of strength to one where the club will need help. This is eerily similar to what happened with the goalkeeper position over the course of this summer, but it seems as if Bayern Munich can scratch Walker permanently off of their most wanted list: Bayern made a new attempt to sign Kyle Walker in the past few hours, without success. The club is actively looking for a Pavard replacement and will only let the Frenchman go if they get one. Inter are planning to submit a new bid worth €28m plus €5m add-ons for Pavard.Should Pavard leave, Bayern Munich would have Bouna Sarr and Konrad Laimer as the primary backups to Noussair Mazraoui, who has a pretty significant injury history according to Transfermarkt. Since the 2017/18 season, Mazraoui has missed 79 games (and 326 total days of action) due to injury or illness. Regardless, it would seem that Bayern Munich could be eyeing a move for another right-back as an insurance policy on Mazraoui...just in case things go awry.As for City, the club still wants to extend Walker as well: Guardiola on new contract for Bernardo Silva: “It will be my dream! Same also for Kyle Walked. Hopefully it happens”. #MCFC

It is hard to find any Bayern Munich fan not interested in Wirtz. However, the logistics of how it would work are quite unclear. Before being relieved of sporting director duties over the summer, Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidzic had already pitched Musiala, along with Alphonso Davies, as being the face of the club for the rest of the decade. The current regime would be wise to do the same.<em>—LoneStar249</em><strong>Another report doubles down on Musiala transfer info</strong>Abendzeitung issued its own report on Musiala and there does seem to be some smoke to the transfer fire that is burning. The German publication did also indicate that Bayern Munich is still Musiala’s first choice, but Bavarians will need to give the youngster a massive raise to retain him: According to AZ, Musiala’s first contact will be FC Bayern. The player continues to feel comfortable in Munich, he has good buddies in the team with Alphonso Davies (22) and Leroy Sané (27). What is clear, however, is that Bayern will have to stretch itself financially. The contract, which runs until 2026, pays Musiala a salary of around eight million euros per year, which is roughly a third of what striker Harry Kane (30) earns. And also much less than other Bayern professionals such as Sané or Joshua Kimmich (28), which are said to be around 20 million. Musiala wants to move up to the top earners - otherwise an early departure could become an issue. What else might be motivating Musiala aside of money? The chance to win trophies (team and individual) and an opportunity for more exposure: Apart from the financial aspect, Musiala is also concerned with other factors: He wants to play in a team that can win the <a href="https://www.sbnation.com/champions-league">Champions League</a>, that plays attractive soccer. And he hopes for individual awards like the Ballon d’Or. Will that be possible in the Bayern kit? By the way, Real Madrid, which has even more international appeal than Bayern, is also keeping a close eye on Musiala’s development. As far as who might be interested in Musiala aside of Real Madrid, Abenzeitung is reporting that <a href="https://bitterandblue.sbnation.com">Manchester City</a> and Liverpool are the primary parties: AZ has learned that two top English clubs in particular are interested in the Bayern attacking star: <a href="https://liverpooloffs…

FC Barcelona v AS Monaco - Trofeu Joan Gamper Photo by Pedro Salado/Getty Images Fire up the Abe Simpson meme… It has been quite a week for FC Barcelona midfielder İlkay Gündoğan.First, rumors swirled that he and Barca had agreed to part ways, then he retired from international football where he was Germany’s captain, and finally, it looks as if he will be returning to Manchester City — where he played before making the jump to FC Barcelona last summer. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano posted about the situation:Post #1 Ilkay Gündogan back to Manchester City, here we go! Deal in place with German midfielder to join on contract valid until June 2025.Agreement reached after positive talks in last 48h and Pep Guardiola said yes, as revealed yesterday.Gündogan will leave Barça for FREE.Post #2 Pep Guardiola has been absolutely key to bring Ilkay Gündogan back to Man City.As soon as Barça informed Gündo about plan to let him leave on free transfer, Pep wanted to talk to Ilkay.Despite big proposals especially from Qatar, Gündo’s back until June 2025 plus option.Post #3 Ilkay Gündogan has said goodbye to all his Barça teammates this morning while clubs are completing all the documents.Gündogan has accepted to leave on free transfer; he’ll NOT receive two-year salary remaining on his Barça contract.Man City, set to welcome him back. ️Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg also offered up his information as well: Yes, Ilkay #Gündogan will return to Manchester City ✔️It’s all done and sealed between the 33 y/o and #MCFC. Gündogan will sign a contract until 2025 + 1 as @polballus reported today and confirmed. He will leave Barcelona for free. Signing in the next days. Gündogan rejected offers from and as he wanted to return to ManCity. Return of the year, now agreed! For Gündoğan, Manchester City will offer a comfort zone and a chance for him to regroup, while competing for trophies. Not such a bad deal, eh?Looking for more thoughts and analysis on Bayern Munich’s upcoming start to the Bundesliga season, the club’s treatment of Kingsley Coman and Leon Goretzka, plus some thoughts on why Paul Wanner’s development at Heidenheim will be a story you should follow this season? Eintracht Frankfurt v VfL Bochum 1848 - Bundesliga Photo by Alex Grimm/Getty Images Bayern Munich needs to get right back at it... Marmoush could be down to Bayern vs. EPL clubs (Sport Bild’s Tobi Altschäffl via @iMiaSanMia)According to a report from Sport Bild’s Tobi Altschäffl, the future for Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Omar Marmoush could come down to Bayern Munich squaring off against any number of Premier League clubs:Omar Marmoush wants to take the next step in his career next summer. For him there are only two options: either a move to the Premier League or to FC Bayern. Frankfurt want €40-50m. But since Bayern are still planning with Harry Kane as their starting #9 next season, they would have to adjust the system or plan with Marmoush in another position if they were to make a move for him.It is still questionable on whether or not Marmoush would be a fit at Bayern Munich (would he be a striker? A wing?). Would he accept being a back-up to Harry Kane for any period of time? That is all up for debate. There is no denying that Marmoush is an electric talent, though. If he keep up his current form, he could be in line to make Die Adler a lot of money this summer. Barca, Chelsea eyeing Adeyemi (El Nacional via 90Min.com)Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi could be a popular target on the transfer market this summer. FC Barcelona is one of the clubs interested: Borussia Dortmund have been offered €15m and Ferran Torres by Barcelona in exchange for German forward Karim Adeyemi. (El Nacional - Spain)In addition, Chelsea FC could also be interested in Adeyemi (per Fichajes): Chelsea remain interested in Adeyemi – a pursuit driven by head coach Enzo Maresca – and could make a bid north of €40m for the 22-year-old.Bavarian Podcast Works — Preview Show: St. Pauli vs. Bayern Munich (Bavarian Football Works)Bayern Munich will be looking to stay hot against St. Pauli in the Bundesliga on Saturday. After trouncing Union Berlin last weekend and taking out Benfica in the Champions League on Wednesday, Bayern Munich is riding the wave of momentum. LFC looking at left-backs, including Raum (ESPN)Liverpool FC want to have a contingency plan for Andy Robertson and RB Leipzig’s David Raum is on the list: Liverpool are keeping an eye on three left-backs as they search for a long-term replacement for Andy Robertson, according to The Sun. Fulham’s Antonee Robinson, Ipswich Town’s Leif Davis and RB Leipzig’s David Raum are all on the Reds’ radar. FC Bayern München v RB Leipzig - Bundesliga Photo by Marcel Engelbrecht - firo sportphoto/Getty Images Can you imagine Bayern munich selling Leroy Sané this month? Sané getting interest from City, Chelsea, LFC? (Fichajes via 90Min.com)File this one into the folder titled “No way this happens...now” — Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané is reportedly hoping that the club will sell him to Manchester City this month. If (when?) that does not happen, Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC could be plotting to grab the Germany international this summer on a free transfer: Manchester City hope to re-sign Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané during the January transfer window. Chelsea and Liverpool are both looking at the Germany international on a free transfer in the summer. Given how much Vincent Kompany values the depth that he currently has in his attack, there is very little chance that City will be able to pry Sané away from Bayern Munich. As for Chelsea and Liverpool, well, anything goes if Sané hits free agency this summer. However, there could be way for Liverpool to get its hands on Sané right now per Football Insider. The report indicates that Bayern Munich would accept a bid of €27 million to €30 million: Bayern Munich could accept offers of £20-25 million for Man City target Leroy Sane if he does not sign a new deal, sources have told Football Insider. The 28-year-old has entered the final six months of his contract in Bavaria and can now agree a pre-contract elsewhere. That still seems far-fetched, but it would be the only way for Bayern Munich to cash out on Sané if all parties have decided that there will be no contract extension.PSG might be tempting Salah (ESPN)For as much as we have seen that Mo Salah wants to stay at Liverpool, it appears that the deep pockets of Paris Saint-Germain could at least be tempting him: Mohamed Salah is carefully considering his future amid a lucrative contract offer from Paris Saint-Germain, TeamTalk has revealed. The Liverpool winger’s preference is to remain in Europe beyond this season, with proposals on the table from both the Reds and PSG. According to TeamTalk, the Parisians are offering a more attractive financial package, alongside a longer contract length than Liverpool currently are.Bavarian Podcast Works — Weekend Warm-up Show Season 4, Episode 26 (Bavarian Football Works)Bayern Munich is back in action, but there might be more working going on in the boardroom than on the pitch at the moment. 1. FSV Mainz 05 v VfL Bochum 1848 - Bundesliga Photo by Ralf Ibing - firo sportphoto/Getty Images Moves are happening... There is a lot of activity in the Bundesliga at the moment and while Bayern Munich might not be a major player in the frenzy, there are some important potential moves on the horizon. Let’s take a look at some of them...Burkardt staying at Mainz...for nowMainz 05 striker Jonathan Burkardt has been very closely linked to Eintracht Frankfurt, but he will not leave his club at midseason per Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg: Jonathan #Burkardt has confirmed Sky that he will not leave Mainz 05 this window – as expected.“I’m staying in Mainz, definitely this winter. After that, we’ll see what happens. I’m super happy here; it’s a lot of fun with the team,” he said.He remains one of Eintracht Frankfurt’s top transfer targets for the summer. #SGE Burkardt has already scored 12 goals and provided 2 assists in the current Bundesliga season. If the much rumored move to Manchester City for Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Omar Marmoush goes through, it will be interesting to see if Die Adler pursue Burkardt harder this month. Marmoush to City getting very seriousSpeaking of Marmoush, Jan Aage Fjørtoft checked in with some thoughts on that potential move: Re: Omar MarmoushEintracht Frankfurt are not keen on selling Omar Marmoush. However, after discussions between the player’s representatives and Manchester City, it’s clear that Marmoush is eager to join City. The situation is straightforward: for the transfer to happen, the two clubs need to agree on a fee. To put it plainly, Manchester City must be willing to pay Eintracht Frankfurt €80 million. This is not a “negotiation position”—it is the price.Key factors influencing Eintracht’s stance:1.The club is currently in the process of increasing its capital base, making them financially stable and under no pressure to sell.2.Eintracht is aiming for Champions League qualification this season, and Marmoush is pivotal to their chances of securing the lucrative bonuses that come with it.3.They are in no rush and can wait until the summer to entertain offers.Eintracht’s CEO, Axel Hellmann, is widely regarded as one of football’s most credible and well-connected leaders. He proved his negotiating expertise with the €95 million sale of Randal Kolo Muani to PSG.In summary, Omar Marmoush could become a Manchester City player this transfer window, but only if City meets the €80 million asking price.Fabrizio Romano checked in with an update of the situation: Manchester City are expected to complete Omar Marmoush deal this week.City will submit their official bid for Omar Marmoush this week, it’s already been prepared.Add-ons will be part of the structure, formal talks to follow to seal the deal with Eintracht. ⏳ Finally, Plettenberg summed up the latest info: ⏳ Today, new negotiations regarding a transfer of Omar #Marmoush took place between Man City’s Txiki Begiristain and Eintracht Frankfurt. Both clubs are not far apart.#MCFC believe the deal can be finalised in the range of €70m fixed, plus bonus payments. However, a total agreement with #SGE has not yet been reached.⚠️ All parties are working to complete the transfer promptly and fairly. An agreement on Tuesday cannot be ruled out. This would mean that Marmoush might not be in the squad against SC Freiburg after all.Olsen to Wolfsburg?Plettenberg is also reporting that Club Brugge winger Andreas Skov Olsen is headed to VfL Wolfsburg: Excl | Andreas Skov #Olsen and VfL Wolfsburg have now reached a verbal agreement!… regarding a transfer in the winter. He can sign a contract until 2029.Negotiations with Club Brugge are expected to take place soon. Price: €10-15m.The Wolves were not don there, though, per Plettenberg. VfL Wolfsburg could also be adding SC Freiburg’s Kiliann Sildillia: Excl | Kiliann #Sildillia and @VfL_Wolfsburg have now reached a verbal agreement!… regarding a loan in the winter with an obligation to buy.Negotiations with SC Freiburg are expected to take place…

Eintracht Frankfurt v Sport-Club Freiburg - Bundesliga Photo by Alex Grimm/Getty Images Another star seems like to exit the Bundesliga... At one point, Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush was linked to Bayern Munich. Now, though, Manchester City has stormed ahead in the race to land the 25-year-old per Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg: As reported yesterday, Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt are not far apart. #SGE demand €80m. The current offer from England is slightly below that. As revealed #MCFC believe the deal can be finalised in the range of €70m fixed + €5-10m add-ons.Man City with Txiki Begiristain pushing for an agreement in the next 48 hours. At this stage, it’s unlikely that Omar #Marmoush will play against Dortmund on Friday. Atmosphere between all parties is still good. Marmoush’s exit would be a crushing blow to Eintracht Frankfurt’s fading Bundesliga title hopes and would certainly be bad for the league, but it will fill the coffers of his current club. Eintracht Frankfurt has proven to be astute in selling at the right time, investing wisely, and developing talent. For the betterment of the Bundesliga, let’s hope that trend continues. Back in 2023, there was a somewhat brief craze surrounding a potential acquisition of Manchester City defender Kyle Walker by Bayern Munich. At the time, the rumor had emerged from nowhere, but did — as we would find out later — have some substance to it, mostly due to Walker wanting to have a change of scenery. FC Bayern München v Celtic FC - UEFA Champions League 2024/25 League Knockout Play-off Second Leg Photo by Harry Langer/DeFodi Images via Getty Images Bayern Munich is hosting Bayer Leverkusen in the UCL today... Bayern sets price on Coman (Bild via @iMiaSanMia)Bayern Munich has extended quite a few players so far, with a few others reportedly nearing new deals. In addition, Bayern Munich looks as if it is prepared to push all of its chips to the middle of the table in an effort to get Florian Wirtz this summer. To even attempt to afford all of these moves, Bayern Munich has to generate funds from somewhere — and one source of income could be a sale of Kingsley Coman: Bayern have set a €35-45m price tag for Kingsley Coman. Arsenal and Saudi Pro League are potential destinations for the Frenchman, who is open to a summer move. Coman is one of the players Bayern want to offload to reduce the wage bill and raise funds.Uh...Coman is not worth that much anymore. At 28-years-old, inconsistent, and oft-injured, Coman does not offer much a skill-set that clubs cannot find or develop for a lot less money. Moreover, Coman’s struggles with his crossing and finishing have continued on from his early days at Bayern Munich. It would be awesome to see Bayern Munich get as much as it is asking, but — in reality — Coman is just a guy with some close-range explosiveness, some good ideas, and a willingness to defend. Sure, those are wanted traits in today’s game, but there are more complete, better players who will be available for less money. All that said, godspeed to Bayern Munich if it can get that type of fee for Coman in today’s market. Šeško on the move? (@Plettigoal)RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško does, indeed, have a release clause and several clubs — Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal FC — are interested: EXCL | Until now, there had only been talk of a verbal agreement, but Benjamin #Sesko has a formally fixed release clause in his contract until 2029. This clause can be activated starting this summer. It is tied to various parameters – such as games played, goals, and assists – and increases regularly. Currently, the clause stands at around €70m for the 21-y/o top striker, but by the end of the season, it is expected to reach approximately €80m.All top English clubs have expressed interest, including Manchester United, Tottenham, and Arsenal. The only club not involved in the race is Manchester City. #MUFC #AFC #MCFC However, Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg noted that Chelsea FC could also get involved and Tottenham might not really have a chance to land Šeško: RB Leipzig are aware of the strong interest from several top Premier League clubs in Benjamin #Sesko. As previously revealed, the 21-y/o top striker has a formally fixed release clause for the summer, which could rise to €80m by the end of the season.Tottenham currently have little chance, while Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal have all expressed concrete interest. #MUFC #CFC #AFCThe timing of all of this is...troublesome if you are like this author, who think Šeško could be the ideal successor for Harry Kane. Bavarian Podcast Works — Preview Show: Bayern Munich vs. Bayer Leverkusen (Champions League)Well, here we are...here the (bleep) we are. Bayern Munich is set to host Bayer Leverkusen in a massively anticipated Champions League showdown. Leg one of this tie is being held at the Allianz Arena and will present the Bavarians with the opportunity to get a jump on the talented and dangerous visitors. The game is the spectacle, but there is a sideshow going on with Bayern Munich’s public courtship of Florian Wirtz — which should ramp up the hard feelings and intensity of this contest even more. Let’s dive into all of that and more on the Bavarian Podcast Works — Preview Show: Catching up on the Florian Wirtz transfer rumors. How each team got to this point and how they fared against each other earlier this season.A look at the injury situations for both Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.A guess at…

VfL Bochum 1848 v Bayer 04 Leverkusen - Bundesliga Photo by Pau Barrena/Getty Images Who will get Florian Wirtz? According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich is preparing to submit its first offer to Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz: FC Bayern are currently preparing their first formal offer for Florian #Wirtz, which is set to be submitted soon. Bayern remain in close contact with Wirtz/family. An agreement in principle on salary and contract length is already in place. Bayern bosses remain very confident. However: since an agreement between Bayern/Leverkusen is still uncertain, Wirtz has a Plan B. At the moment, that includes Manchester City and Liverpool. Both clubs are keen on signing him and are also planning to submit offers. Bayern aware of it. #MCFC #LFC It is starting to become clear that Wirtz is ready to leave Leverkusen, but Die Werkself could actually force Wirtz’s hand to go somewhere other than Bayern Munich if it chooses to engage in a long, arduous process with the Bavarians. As of now, it looks like Bayern Munich’s first bid will fall far short of the mark per Plettenberg: ⚫️ Bayer 04 Leverkusen are currently expected to demand around €150m for Florian #Wirtz from all interested clubs. Should FC Bayern offer €100m, Leverkusen plan to reject it immediately.Leverkusen want a final decision from Wirtz next week on whether he intends to leave or stay.So far, Leverkusen have not received any formal written offers — neither from Bayern, Manchester City, nor Liverpool. #MCFC #LFC Real Madrid could join the race if #Rodrygo is sold in time. That is a very interesting point about Real Madrid. Rodrygo wants to play on the left-side, which could be a tough task given Real Madrid’s current squad composition. 1. FSV Mainz 05 v Bayer 04 Leverkusen - Bundesliga Photo by Pau Barrena/Getty Images In or out for Florian Wirtz? As we posted earlier today, there was a report from kicker, which indicated that both Liverpool and Manchester City were competing with Bayern Munich enough to remove the favorite tag from the Bavarians in the race for Bayer Leverkusen attacker Florian Wirtz. However, also included in our post was information from BBC Sport journalist Sami Mokbel (via @iMiaSanMia), which indicated that Manchester City was going to bow out of the race. Now, Sky Sport journalists Florian Plettenberg and Patrick Berger are adding additional information: Plettenberg As reported: The #Wirtz family were in Liverpool last week … ManCity were ready to make progress but #MCFC are out of the race after new talks, according to @SamiMokbel_BBC. Despite other reports, ManCity never made an official offer, as has always been reported. FC Bayern remain relaxed. They trust in their basic agreement and are also waiting for Wirtz to announce an internal decision at Leverkusen.Berger Confirmed: Manchester City has completely withdrawn from the poker game for Florian Wirtz (22/ )!!! As expected, it going to be difficult for any club to get a deal done with Wirtz and Bayer Leverkusen, but Bayern Munich is in the best position to make it work. With the Club World Cup being only weeks away, will talks begin to heat up between the parties?Bayern Munich’s season is over, but we have plenty to talk about. Let’s discuss how we feel about the season and why fan expectations will be higher in 2025/26. We’ll also hit on Harry Kane’s statements, which seem to indicate that he could extend his contract, while also giving a breakdown of Bayern Munich’s big contract/transfer situations. Finally, we touch on Uli Hoeneß proving he has not lost a step with the media as he provided some commentary on the Florian Wirtz transfer saga. FC Bayern München Portraits - FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Photo by Alex Livesey - FIFA/FIFA via Getty Images Bayern Munich has irons in the fire... Action expected in coming weeks between Palhinha, Spurs (GiveMeSport)Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich have done some good business together of late and more could be on the way. In recent reports, Tottenham has been linked to Bayern Munich midfielderJoão Palhinha and it seems like Spurs could be inclined to make a move for Palhinha in the coming weeks — just do not expect them to rush into it: Tottenham Hotspur have made contact with Bayern Munich midfielder Joao Palhinha over a summer transfer, according to Fabrizio Romano.Spurs have had a relatively quiet start to the transfer window compared to their fellow ‘Big Six’ clubs. With Mohammed Kudus through the door, and the young Japanese defender, Kota Takai, signing on the dotted line, that completes the north London side’s transfer business so far.Alongside the loan deals for Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel becoming permanent, the Lilywhites are now awaiting their next incoming. That player that looked to be Morgan Gibbs-White, but a move that has since stalled due to legal issues, it appears Spurs will now turn their attention to Palhinha, having contacted the Portuguese player’s camp.Hoping to bolster in the middle of the park, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Frank’s side have ‘genuine interest’ in Palhinha, who has been described as ‘world-class’, and have made an initial approach to his camp to discuss a move.Šeško to NUFC? (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)RB Leipzig has recently lowered the asking price on star striker Benjamin Šeško and Newcastle United’s interest is piqued: ⚫️⚪️ Newcastle and Benjamin #Sesko’s camp are in concrete talks, with RB Leipzig informed. However, there is still no verbal agreement. But Newcastle/Sesko working on it. #NUFC have had Sesko on their radar since 2022. Let’s see what happens in the coming days and weeks. So far, Leipzig have not received any offer for Sesko. Leipzig are demanding €80–100 million.Plettenberg’s last note there runs counter to other reports, which say that €70 million is the asking price for the Slovenian. If — somehow — the price really is €70 million, Bayern Munich could potentially be lured into taking a look at a player we know the club likes. Bavarian Podcast Works — Weekend Warm-up Show Season 4, Episode 53 (Bavarian Football Works)Bayern Munich’s summer action is heating up after a lull and a move or two could be on the horizon. Let’s catch up on all of it on this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Weekend Warm-up Show: €75 million might be Bayern’s magic number for Liverpool’s Luis Diaz — and we think we finally know why we have been feeling so iffy about the situation. Bayern made its last bid on Nick Woltemade, which could still fall short of the mark. If that fails...who’s next? Maybe of three Red Bull-related players. Are we headed into an era of stability at Bayern Munich? Despite rumors of disconnect, there could be a pathway forward to structure. Ortega leaving Man City? (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)German goalkeeper Stefan Ortega has some suitors: Three Premier League clubs pushing for Stefan #Ortega, while #Fenerbahce are also in concrete talks. A move to Burnley has fallen through for now. A summer departure for Ortega this summer is becoming increasingly likely. The reason: Ederson is set to stay, and James Trafford is joining. #MCFC @SkySportDEFélix back to Benfica? Hmmm...maybe not (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)João Félix could be headed back to Benfica...right? Right? It seems like it: ⚪️ SL Benfica are still pushing to sign Joao #Felix, as reported.A deal is understood to be likely, and the player’s camp are optimistic about completing the return. The 25 y/o is open to joining #Benfica. He is under contract with Chelsea until 2031. #CFC @SkySportDEHowever, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says that Al Hilal is trying to sneak in and steal Félix: Al Nassr are in advanced talks to sign…
