FC Bayern München v Eintracht Frankfurt - Bundesliga Photo by Christina Pahnke - sampics/Corbis via Getty Images Is the big snatch going to happen? Recent reports show that Bayern Munich have now shifted their focus to signing Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt. The Bavarians are now reportedly in talks with the player’s management and the initial signs were positive (as reported by Florian Plettenberg via @iMiaSanMia): News Kolo Muani: Talks between Bayern and his management have started! First talks were positive but no concrete negotiations yet. #SGE is aware of the interest. The real price tag is expected to be lower than €100m + bonus. As reported: light from Hoeneß! @SkySportDE pic.twitter.com/W3MeRFJCg3— Florian Plettenberg (@Plettigoal) May 1, 2023Just 38 minutes later, however (check the time of publishing of the tweets), “Pletti” gave an update on the Kolo Muani sweepstakes as Premier League outfit Manchester United are pushing just as hard to get the 24-year-old Frenchman to bolster their ranks:❗️News Kolo Muani: Understand #MUFC is the club who is pushing the most at this stage! More than #FCBayern! Player has not taken any decision yet. No verbal agreement with any club. His management is sounding out the market. It’s up to Bayern now in order to make the next step… pic.twitter.com/0ARuunBAkl— Florian Plettenberg (@Plettigoal) May 1, 2023Dusan Vlahović was also offered to both Bayern and Arsenal FC for a discounted price as the towering Serb looks to bolt Juventus and Allegri-ball; the funds here would be used to sign Rasmus Højlund from Atalanta, someone who is also linked to the Rekordmeister. Who will Bayern eventually sign: a leap of faith in Kolo Muani, an even bigger leap of faith in a raw Højlund, or saving Vlahović from Italian football? My guess is giving Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting another one-year extension.

FC Bayern München v Hertha BSC - Bundesliga Photo by T. Kieslich/FC Bayern via Getty Images These two incidents, however, were unrelated. When Bayern Munich traveled to Bremen on Saturday, two standout incidents took place involving the club and the local police. As documented by Tz, firstly the team bus was attacked on Saturday morning by a man wielding a porcelain vase. The individual also threatened to shoot police officers. He was, however, apprehended and taken to a psychiatric facility for assessment. The bus was unoccupied at the time, and while Tz notes that there was some damage, it was likely minimal. The bus managed to later carry the team from their hotel to Werder Bremen’s stadium without incident. Police vs the fans UEFA Champions League - Spartak Moscow v Bayern Munich Photo by Dima Korotayev/Epsilon/Getty Images The second part of this story is all too familiar to those in the fan scene of German football. Once the game was over, five buses full of Bayern Munich away fans were detained for several hours. Apparently, the names of over 380 people were recorded by the police during this procedure. The umbrella organization of active Bayern Munich fans and the Green and White Aid, which supports Werder fans with problems with the police and the judiciary, criticized the deployment. ”It was an absolutely disproportionate action,” said Alexander Salzweger, spokesman for Club No. 12, the association of active Bayern fans, about Spox and Goal. ”Unfortunately, fans of active fan scenes know such missions, but that was absolutely excessive even for their standards.” The last buses left at around 3 a.m.This may have had something to do with the pyro displays by the fans at the stadium during the game. Pyro is banned at Bundesliga stadiums, but such restrictions rarely affect fans’ ability to sneak flares into the grounds and take them out at kickoff or halftime. In any case, the actions by the Bremen police seem disproportionate to the offense caused. The away fans were detained for hours without any apparent reason, which appears to be a case of harassment. Football fans are often the target of heavy-handed police measures in Germany, as documented on Twitter by journalist Felix Tamsut:Germany talks police violence. Reminder: This also affects football fans.

Eintracht Frankfurt v 1. FSV Mainz 05 - Bundesliga Photo by Alex Grimm/Getty Images Has Bayern Munich found its next striker? The rumors have been swirling for weeks that Bayern Munich has big interest in Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani. The problem with an acquisition of the Frenchman, however, was reportedly that Die Adler’s asking price would exceed nine figures. That might not be such an issue any more per Sport1’s Kerry Hau and Christopher Michel (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).There was initially some doubt about Kolo Muani’s fit for what Bayern Munich wants from a striker, but those worries have apparently been resolved: After initial concerns, Bayern are now fully convinced of Randal Kolo Muani. Although the club’s bosses want to take their time with a final decision until the end of the season, Kolo Muani is currently the top candidate within the club. Back in winter, (sporting director Hasan “Brazzo”) Salihamidžić and his staff were still skeptical as to whether Kolo Muani’s play style actually fits Bayern. However, this view has changed after several analyses and observations.Interestingly, part of the reason Bayern Munich is now convinced on Kolo Muani is that the club believes that he can be effective in both a one-striker and two-striker system: The general opinion now is that Kolo Muani would fit into the sole striker role, but also in a two-striker system with Eric Maxim-Choupo Moting, Serge Gnabry or Mathys Tel. A system with two strikers is an option for Thomas Tuchel. One of the primary backers of Kolo Muani at Bayern Munich is club legend Uli Hoeneß, despite retiring from his formal, day-to-day duties with the club: Uli Hoeneß is a big fan of Kolo Muani. In addition to his footballing qualities, Kolo Muani’s team spirit is also highly valued. As a Frenchman, he would also fit well into the team. Dayot Upamecano is a close friend of his. There are, however, several other clubs interested in Kolo Muani as Manchester United, Liverpool FC, and Paris Saint-Germain all want the 24-year-old: Bayern will face big competition for Kolo Muani. Manchester United and Liverpool FC have expressed their interest, and PSG are also keeping an eye on him. Bayern’s advantage is that the player feels comfortable in the Bundesliga and would prefer a move to Munich. Sport1’s journalists do not expect a decision to be made any time soon, even if proposals start to flow in: There will be no quick decision. Bayern and Frankfurt have not yet spoken to each other. The only thing that counts for Bayern now is the title race. Meanwhile, Eintracht have the cup final against RB Leipzig in mind. However, Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg is reporting that talks have, indeed, already begun between Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt — and the price could be lower than the anticipated €100 million that we previously saw: News Kolo Muani: Talks between Bayern and his management have started! First talks were positive but no concrete negotiations yet. #SGE is aware of the interest. The real price tag is expected to be lower than €100m + bonus. Bayern Munich v Manchester City - Pre-Season Friendly Photo by S. Mellar/FC Bayern via Getty Images Bayern Munich is doing business...sort of. As has been expected for days, Eintracht Frankfurt formally announced the hiring of former Bayern Munich assistant coach Dino Toppmöller as its new head coach. Toppmöller worked as an assistant coach under Julian Nagelsmann and despite his popularity among the players, was part of the group that was let go. Now, Toppmöller will get a chance to lead his own team at Eintracht Frankfurt: Dino Toppmöller has been appointed new head coach.

The German winger has produced a return of nine goals and nine assists apiece already this term from 24 games in all competitions. As mentioned earlier, his contract with the Bundesliga champions runs out at the end of the next season.Bayern Munich had opened talks over a renewal with the former <a href="https://bitterandblue.sbnation.com">Manchester City</a> forward, but negotiations have stalled, creating a big problem for the Bavarians.<a href="https://barcauniversal.com/barcelona-monitoring-situation-of-e80-million-rated-bayern-munich-contract-rebel-real-madrid-also-interested/">Barca Universal</a> added more context to the interest from the La Liga clubs: The report says that Barcelona and Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Sane’s situation. They rate the 27-year-old very highly, and could look to sign him in the coming windows. While the move would make a lot of sense for Madrid, who are looking for a right-winger, Barcelona already have Raphinha and Lamine Yamal in their ranks for that position. And while Sane can play left-wing, he is most comfortable on the right, as has been proven this season, with his eight goals and eight assists playing exclusively on that flank or centrally behind Harry Kane.Further, even if Sane chooses not to extend his contract, his price in the summer will be very high regardless, especially if he manages to keep up this stellar form. All signs point to Sané re-upping with Bayern Munich, but the longer he does without a deal, the more doubt might seep into the minds of fans — especially as clubs like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, <a href="https://liverpooloffside.sbnation.com/">Liverpool</a>, and Manchester City continue to be mentioned as potential landing spots for the Germany international. <a href="https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/1/3/24022745/pedri-names-the-one-player-he-would-sign-for-barcelona">Pedri would like Haaland at Barca (Barca Blaugranes)</a>If FC Barcelona ditches Robert Lewandowski after this season, Pedri already knows who he wants to see playing striker in Catalonia.“I would sign (Lionel) Messi if he were 19 or 22 years old, but currently I would sign Haaland, he is a cyborg and scores a lot of goals. FC Bayern München v 1. FC Union Berlin - Bundesliga Photo by Marcel Engelbrecht - firo sportphoto/Getty Images Bayern Munich is on break...now, what? Bayern worried about Tel’s progress (Sport Bild’s Tobi Altschäffl via @iMiaSanMia)Rumors of Bayern Munich’s interest in a post-Harry Kane plan for striker have been swirling for about a week, but the genesis of the rumors is — allegedly — that the club is not feeling great about the development of Mathys Tel: One of the reasons Bayern are already exploring the market for a long-term Harry Kane successor is that the development of Mathys Tel has stalled. That’s why a loan move for Tel in January is a realistic option. The primary issue with Tel is that it is hard to figure out if he best fits as a striker, a winger, or something in-between, like a wide-forward. In reality, his best position might be as a part of a two-striker system, but it would seem doubtful that Bayern Munich would shift to that kind of alignment any time soon. So...then what? It seems like both parties are open to Tel going out on loan, which would serve two purposes: It would give Tel the necessary game time to continue his development. It would buy the Bavarians some time to figure out how they really feel about Tel and what position they see him playing in the long-term. Clearly, Tel is part of the mix for consideration for what happens after Kane, but he is just a small piece of that puzzle. Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush continued his torrid run of play this season with another goal during the team’s 1-0 win over St. Pauli. Manchester City is ramping up its pursuit, though, which could see Pep Guardiola’s club finalize a deal for the Egyptian scoring machine in the coming days per Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg: Frankfurt boss Markus Krösche confirms our news from Friday about direct and positive contact with #MCFC regarding a transfer of Omar #Marmoush:“One club has made contact. Plettenberg (again!) says Bayer Leverkusen had interest last year, as did Juventus: Jovan #Mijatovic is considered as one of the top striker talents of his generation. The 19-y/o forward is currently under contract with New York City in the MLS. The City Football Group paid €10m for him. #NYCFC A loan move to Europe has now become a serious option in this window, with the Bundesliga being a potential destination. 1. FSV Mainz 05 v VfL Bochum 1848 - Bundesliga Photo by Ralf Ibing - firo sportphoto/Getty Images Moves are happening... There is a lot of activity in the Bundesliga at the moment and while Bayern Munich might not be a major player in the frenzy, there are some important potential moves on the horizon. Let’s take a look at some of them...Burkardt staying at Mainz...for nowMainz 05 striker Jonathan Burkardt has been very closely linked to Eintracht Frankfurt, but he will not leave his club at midseason per Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg: Jonathan #Burkardt has confirmed Sky that he will not leave Mainz 05 this window – as expected.“I’m staying in Mainz, definitely this winter. After that, we’ll see what happens. I’m super happy here; it’s a lot of fun with the team,” he said.He remains one of Eintracht Frankfurt’s top transfer targets for the summer. #SGE Burkardt has already scored 12 goals and provided 2 assists in the current Bundesliga season. If the much rumored move to Manchester City for Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Omar Marmoush goes through, it will be interesting to see if Die Adler pursue Burkardt harder this month. Marmoush to City getting very seriousSpeaking of Marmoush, Jan Aage Fjørtoft checked in with some thoughts on that potential move: Re: Omar MarmoushEintracht Frankfurt are not keen on selling Omar Marmoush. However, after discussions between the player’s representatives and Manchester City, it’s clear that Marmoush is eager to join City. The situation is straightforward: for the transfer to happen, the two clubs need to agree on a fee. To put it plainly, Manchester City must be willing to pay Eintracht Frankfurt €80 million. This is not a “negotiation position”—it is the price.Key factors influencing Eintracht’s stance:1.The club is currently in the process of increasing its capital base, making them financially stable and under no pressure to sell.2.Eintracht is aiming for Champions League qualification this season, and Marmoush is pivotal to their chances of securing the lucrative bonuses that come with it.3.They are in no rush and can wait until the summer to entertain offers.Eintracht’s CEO, Axel Hellmann, is widely regarded as one of football’s most credible and well-connected leaders. He proved his negotiating expertise with the €95 million sale of Randal Kolo Muani to PSG.In summary, Omar Marmoush could become a Manchester City player this transfer window, but only if City meets the €80 million asking price.Fabrizio Romano checked in with an update of the situation: Manchester City are expected to complete Omar Marmoush deal this week.City will submit their official bid for Omar Marmoush this week, it’s already been prepared.Add-ons will be part of the structure, formal talks to follow to seal the deal with Eintracht. ⏳ Finally, Plettenberg summed up the latest info: ⏳ Today, new negotiations regarding a transfer of Omar #Marmoush took place between Man City’s Txiki Begiristain and Eintracht Frankfurt. Both clubs are not far apart.#MCFC believe the deal can be finalised in the range of €70m fixed, plus bonus payments. However, a total agreement with #SGE has not yet been reached.⚠️ All parties are working to complete the transfer promptly and fairly. An agreement on Tuesday cannot be ruled out. This would mean that Marmoush might not be in the squad against SC Freiburg after all.Olsen to Wolfsburg?Plettenberg is also reporting that Club Brugge winger Andreas Skov Olsen is headed to VfL Wolfsburg: Excl | Andreas Skov #Olsen and VfL Wolfsburg have now reached a verbal agreement!… regarding a transfer in the winter. He can sign a contract until 2029.Negotiations with Club Brugge are expected to take place soon. Price: €10-15m.The Wolves were not don there, though, per Plettenberg. VfL Wolfsburg could also be adding SC Freiburg’s Kiliann Sildillia: Excl | Kiliann #Sildillia and @VfL_Wolfsburg have now reached a verbal agreement!… regarding a loan in the winter with an obligation to buy.Negotiations with SC Freiburg are expected to take place…
Eintracht Frankfurt v Sport-Club Freiburg - Bundesliga Photo by Alex Grimm/Getty Images Another star seems like to exit the Bundesliga... At one point, Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush was linked to Bayern Munich. Now, though, Manchester City has stormed ahead in the race to land the 25-year-old per Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg: As reported yesterday, Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt are not far apart. #SGE demand €80m. The current offer from England is slightly below that. As revealed #MCFC believe the deal can be finalised in the range of €70m fixed + €5-10m add-ons.Man City with Txiki Begiristain pushing for an agreement in the next 48 hours. At this stage, it’s unlikely that Omar #Marmoush will play against Dortmund on Friday. Atmosphere between all parties is still good. Marmoush’s exit would be a crushing blow to Eintracht Frankfurt’s fading Bundesliga title hopes and would certainly be bad for the league, but it will fill the coffers of his current club. Eintracht Frankfurt has proven to be astute in selling at the right time, investing wisely, and developing talent. For the betterment of the Bundesliga, let’s hope that trend continues. Eintracht Frankfurt v FC Bayern München - Bundesliga Photo by Alex Grimm/Getty Images Maybe Mathys Tel should have been more open to a move... According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt had an agreement in place “three-to-four” weeks ago that would have landed Mathys Tel with Die Adler. Incidentally, this coincides with the timeframe where Vincent Kompany — allegedly — had his “long, direct” talk with Tel that convinced him to stay: Excl | 3–4 weeks ago, Eintracht Frankfurt reached a verbal agreement with FC Bayern on a loan deal for Mathys #Tel with no option to buy.The club executives agreed that this would be a great opportunity for him to gain playing time at the highest level. #SGE However, Tel declined at the time, as he wanted to stay at Bayern. All of this kind of makes it out like the coaching staff and the front office are not in full alignment. Why would Kompany convince Tel to stay if a loan deal with Eintracht Frankfurt was being worked on (or already agreed upon)?Granted, Tel might not have wanted to go to Eintracht Frankfurt anyway, but this whole situation keeps getting more odd. Regardless, Tel now has to get his situation sorted out quickly or he is looking at another four months on the bench. Now, it looks like the deal with Tottenham Hotspur is back on...here we go (we think)?Looking for more thoughts and analysis of Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga win over Holstein Kiel? AFC Bournemouth v Wolverhampton Wanderers FC - Premier League Photo by Robin Jones - AFC Bournemouth/AFC Bournemouth via Getty Images Bayern Munich might be more active than first thought this summer... Bayern likes Huijsen, focused in on Wirtz, backup for Kane (@Plettigoal)According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich finds Bournemouth center-back Dean Huijsen to be “interesting”, which we kind of already knew. However, with that report, it does disclose why Bayern Munich might not be able to afford Huijsen, whose release clause is roughly €60 million. Per Plettenberg, Bayern Munich is pushing to get Florian Wirtz this summer and a backup to Harry Kane: FC Bayern consider Dean #Huijsen a very interesting centre-back and have gathered information about him. However, nothing is concrete at the moment. He is not a specific target for the summer yet, mainly because he is currently too expensive and Bayern have other priorities: Wirtz, one or two new wingers, and a backup for Kane. The 19-y/o Huijsen has a release clause in his contract at Bournemouth, worth £50m, as per @FabrizioRomanoThe Kane backup is interesting because that seems to indicate that Mathys Tel will be sold — and that the club is ready to make at least a somewhat large investment in that type of player. Is Bayern Munich going to seriously go after Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyökeres and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško to be Kane’s understudy? It seems unlikely that players of that ilk would be willing to punt a season in their respective careers. One name to potentially keep an eye on, who is much cheaper, is West Ham United’s Niclas Füllkrug.Güler on Eintracht’s radar (@Plettigoal)With Arda Güler reportedly unhappy at Real Madrid, Eintracht Frankfurt could offer him a soft landing in Germany: Eintracht Frankfurt are closely monitoring the situation of Arda #Güler. #SGE are aware that the 20-y/o top talent is not entirely satisfied with his playing time at Real Madrid. While nothing is concrete yet, Frankfurt have the Turkish international on their list for the upcoming summer. As first via @AxelHesse1 and confirmed. But Eintracht’s current top candidate for the right wing, if financially feasible, remains Ritsu #Doan from SC Freiburg.Bavarian Podcast Works — Flagship Show: Season 7, Episode 33 (Bavarian Football Works)Bayern Munich took a weekend loss, but that is not at the forefront of mind for most fans. A flukey result majorly impacted by a red card allowed many fans to grant Bayern Munich a mulligan on the final score — mostly because there are bigger fish to fry this week. In addition, in a weekend rife with upsets in the Bundesliga, the loss to VfL Bochum did not end up hurting Bayern Munich too much in the league table. Let’s get into our slate of topics. This is what we have on tap for this episode: Unpacking Bayern Munich’s loss to VfL Bochum. Big deal? An anomaly? Just the cost of doing business with a condensed schedule? What does €80 million buy you these days? Maybe not much. Where do things stand ahead of the Champions League match vs. Bayer Leverkusen. Joshua Kimmich’s saga appears to be coming to an end. Were there winners and losers or did this finish up in a good way for everyone?Who was Bayern scouting at LFC? (The Hard Tackle)Sport Bild journalist Christian recently declared that Bayern Munich did not have interest in Liverpool FC defender Virgil van Dijk. However, other reports are indicating that Bayern Munich had scouts at Liverpool’s match against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last week: A host of clubs, including Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, had observers watching Virgil van Dijk in action for Liverpool against PSG. According to TBR, Virgil van Dijk could have multiple suitors when the summer window opens, as his Liverpool future looks highly uncertain. Real Madrid and Bayern Munich had observers in Paris to watch the defender in action against PSG, as Liverpool are keen to keep hold of the key man and skipper. Bayern Munich, on the other hand…

Newcastle United FC v Manchester United FC - Premier League Photo by George Wood/Getty Images The season is winding down... Bayern eyeing Tonali? (CaughtOffside via 90Min.com)This rumor seems to be coming from nowhere and will probably fall right back into the void, but let’s check it out anyway. Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain could all be eyeing Newcastle United midfielder Sando Tonali: Sandro Tonali has made it clear he is open to talks about a move away from Newcastle United, who could listen to offers of €80m (£68.6m). Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are all interested.Tonali is considered to be able to function as a deep-lying playmaker or in a box-to-box role. Right now, it is hard to figure out how Bayern Munich would view Tonali and if he would complement the squad’s group for next season. Regardless, it feels like a longshot for Bayern Munich to make this kind of move even if the club was interested in Tonali four years go. Barca wants Gyökeres (El Nacional via ESPN)FC Barcelona could be looking at Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyökeres as a successor to Robert Lewandowski: Barcelona are considering a €65m move for Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres and could let Ronald Araujo and Ferran Torres leave to generate the funds.Bavarian Podcast Works — The Bundesliga Rundown with Marcus Iredahl: Matchday 31 (Bavarian Podcast Works)The Bundesliga is winding down and Matchday 31 left us reeling a bit with the insanity that occurred. Is he ready for what lies ahead? Did Bayern Munich miss the boat...or maybe dodge a bullet? Bayern still keeping eye on Nkunku? (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk via @iMiaSanMia)Bayern Munich has been linked to Chelsea FC attacker Christopher Nkunku since January and could still end up making a move for the former RB Leipzig man this summer: Bayern were informed that Christopher Nkunku has told Chelsea he wants to leave the club in the summer. In January, there were concrete talks with Bayern; Max Eberl even had a phone call with Nkunku. The Frenchman is still interested in a move to Bayern. But the club is unlikely to seriously pursue this option in the summer due to the high price tag.Eintracht. Toppmöller to renew? (@Plettigoal)Eintracht Frankfurt and former Bayern Munich assistant coach Dino Toppmöller are progressing toward a contract extension: From Eintracht Frankfurt’s point of view, talks with Dino #Toppmöller are progressing very positively. He is still expected to extend his contract until 2028. #SGEThere is said to be NO release clause!Final details still to be clarified…Sky Sport journalist P.J. Berger is also reporting that things could happen fast: ⚫️⚪️ The contract talks between Eintracht Frankfurt and Dino Toppmöller (44/ ) are now expected to see decisive progress. A contract until 2028 is looming, but there is reportedly no exit clause. Financial details, among other things, were still being discussed until recently. #SGE“It probably won’t take much longer,” Dino said after the Leipzig win. “All parties know what they have in common. Germany v Greece - International Friendly Photo by Alex Grimm/Getty Images How is the summer transfer window already this wild for Bayern Munich? Heynckes see similarity between Wirtz, Kroos (kicker via @iMiaSanMia)Bayern Munich is very serious about its pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz, but both Manchester City and Real Madrid could emerge as the ultimate winner in the transfer battle. For Jupp Heynckes, the German legend, there are similarities between Wirtz and another german player who had to make a massive decision early in his career — Toni Kroos.“This serious young man, or at least as he seems to me, has to follow his inner voice. He has to do what he thinks is best for himself and is happy to seek advice from his parents or those close to him. I think Wirtz is fantastic. He’s already torn his ACL, but he’ll face other obstacles that will require the mental stability to overcome. his physique, which is already good, and on his robustness, both physical and mental,” said Heynckes. “This resilience is crucial to have a world-class career. Kylian Mbappé is a world champion – and yet an example of how difficult it is to play for a top club like Real. “And a player of Wirtz’s caliber must always believe in himself. Toni Kroos had this gift of knowing what he can and can’t do. Wirtz, I believe, possesses a similar mentality. Toni constantly optimized his game, and I predict Wirtz will also have a world-class career – just like Toni did.”Part of what led Kroos to make the jump to Real Madrid (Bayern Munich’s hardline stance on his contract aside) was that aforementioned mentality. We shall see what Wirtz decides for his future in the coming weeks.Bayern — again — linked to Schick (Abendzeitung’s Maximilian Koch via @iMiaSanMia)For the second time in a week, Bayern Munich has been linked to Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick: The name of Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick has been discussed internally at Bayern. Eintracht Frankfurt v Tottenham Hotspur - UEFA Europa League 2024/25 Quarter Final Second Leg Photo by Simon Hofmann - UEFA/UEFA via Getty Images Turn off the lights, it’s over... Eintracht Frankfurt could become a lesser threat to Bayern Munich in the coming days.As has been rumored, striker Hugo Ekitiké is likely to leave the club, as Liverpool FC could pull off its second big raid of the Bundesliga this summer. Like it or not, Eintracht Frankfurt is a selling club. Now, it must make the most of this cash influx (if the deal goes through) and continue to put out teams and capable of competing for a league title. That is much easier said than done when the team keeps losing so many key players. Losing Ekitiké and Omar Marmoush (Manchester City) within a year is a massive hit.
