According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich is preparing to submit its first offer to Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz: FC Bayern are currently preparing their first formal offer for Florian #Wirtz, which is set to be submitted soon. Bayern remain in close contact with Wirtz/family. An agreement in principle on salary and contract length is already in place. Bayern bosses remain very confident. However: since an agreement between Bayern/Leverkusen is still uncertain, Wirtz has a Plan B. At the moment, that includes Manchester City and Liverpool. Both clubs are keen on signing him and are also planning to submit offers. Bayern aware of it. #MCFC #LFC It is starting to become clear that Wirtz is ready to leave Leverkusen, but Die Werkself could actually force Wirtz’s hand to go somewhere other than Bayern Munich if it chooses to engage in a long, arduous process with the Bavarians. As of now, it looks like Bayern Munich’s first bid will fall far short of the mark per Plettenberg: ⚫️ Bayer 04 Leverkusen are currently expected to demand around €150m for Florian #Wirtz from all interested clubs. Should FC Bayern offer €100m, Leverkusen plan to reject it immediately.Leverkusen want a final decision from Wirtz next week on whether he intends to leave or stay.So far, Leverkusen have not received any formal written offers — neither from Bayern, Manchester City, nor Liverpool. #MCFC #LFC Real Madrid could join the race if #Rodrygo is sold in time. That is a very interesting point about Real Madrid. Rodrygo wants to play on the left-side, which could be a tough task given Real Madrid’s current squad composition. (Football Transfers)Is this the reason Bayern Munich is slow-playing the talks with VfB Stuttgart over Nick Woltemade? It seems like a longshot, but getting Benjamin Šeško at this price-point could be a very advantageous deal for the Bavarians: RB Leipzig have reduced the asking price for Benjamin Sesko to €70m, according to @BILD

(talkSPORT via ESPN)After suffering through so many key losses, one report indicates that Bayer Leverkusen could make a play for Raheem Sterling: Bayer Leverkusen and Juventus are both interested in Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling, who has been expected to leave since being left out of the Blues’ Club World Cup squad. While Bayern Leverkusen is being dealt death by a million paper cuts this summer, any rumors linking the club to a quick fix with Sterling are not true, per Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg: Rumours linking Bayer 04 Leverkusen with Raheem #Sterling are wide of the mark. The 30 y/o is a top and experienced winger.
