Paris Saint Germain v RC Strasbourg - Ligue 1 Uber EatsPhoto by Aurelien Meunier - PSG/PSG via Getty ImagesHopefully the German journos are right, because signing Kehrer would be the wrong move. The possibility of Thilo Kehrer joining Bayern Munich has left fans of the Bavarian superclub horrified and disheartened. While the supporters want to see the likes of Marcel Sabitzer and Amine Adli finalized in the upcoming days, French outlet L’Equipe reported with some confidence that the Bayern bosses were negotiating with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of the 24-year-old.Now, multiple journalists in Germany have refuted that report, claiming that there are no negotiations for Kehrer and no deal has been reached with his representatives:Update #Kehrer: No! (Sport Witness)There are many who think that Bayern Munich transfer target Harry Kane will likely remain with Tottenham Hotspur rather than move to Germany at this stage of his career. We can count transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio among those who believe the move is a longshot. Specifically, Di Marzio thinks Kane will star if Antonio Conte remains at the helm of the club:Asked if Bayern could be the Englishman’s next big step, he said: “I think that depends on Conte’s future. Whether Conte will extend his contract with Tottenham. If he stays, it’s because Tottenham really want to improve and win the Premier League and Champions League.“If he stays, it’s because he has the guarantee that Kane, Son, Richarlison – all the great Tottenham players – will stay. I don’t think Conte will stay if Tottenham sell Harry Kane.“I don’t think it would be the right move for Kane to go to Bayern Munich now. It depends on what Tottenham want to do in the future. How they perform in tournaments. It’s still too early to know what will happen next. It’s difficult to predict what will happen.”Di Marzio then goes onto explain that if Bayern believe they need a player like Lewandowski to be successful going forward, since Sadio Mané is a very different type of footballer, then trying to buy Kane would make sense. He added: “I know Bayern Munich want Harry Kane. I don’t know if this is the right move for Harry Kane. He should stay if Antonio Conte stays.”Admittedly, I’m a skeptic on this move. For me, there was no foul,” Siebert said.As for why Dayot Upamecano escaped with a yellow card instead of a red card at a key moment in the second half, the referee also had an explanation for that as well.“If the foul had taken place centrally, directly in front of the penalty area, it would have been a different situation. If de Ligt wasn’t in full sprint, it would be a different situation. I had the feeling that De Ligt was so close to the scene and wasn’t outplayed. Therefore, no red card for Upamecano,” Siebert said.I am just some dude typing this story, but I did not think it was a foul either. FC Bayern München v SV Werder Bremen - Bundesliga Photo by Roland Krivec/DeFodi Images via Getty Images Is Lucas Hernandez trying to ramp up pressure on Bayern Munich? According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich might not believe that Paris Saint-Germain has made an offer — or even has that much interest — in defender Lucas Hernandez. Per Plettenberg, Bayern Munich thinks this could just be a game to see who blinks first during the negotiations. The representation for Hernandez could just be seeking to bleed out as much cash as possible for their client from the Bavarians: News #Hernández: Bayern‘s position is clear. They still want to extend with him. For the club it was close to be done a few weeks ago as reported. He could have signed a contract until 2027. Bayern evaluates the news from France as a “poker game.“ No news about a possible agreement between him and #PSG. #Tuchel is pushing for his new contract signing instead. The reports on this story have been all over the place, so it is tough to discern exactly what is going on. At this point, though, anything is possible. FC Bayern Muenchen Celebrates Winning The Bundesliga Photo by Nathan Zentveld/Getty Images Lucas Hernandez could leave Bayern Munich. With the recent news that Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard would not be returning to the club next season, the status of Lucas Hernandez has become even more critical at Bayern Munich. While his contract extension was once considered a “shoo-in”, Paris Saint-Germain thrust itself into the mix last week and has — allegedly — offered a financial package and sporting perspective that has Hernandez reconsidering his previous thoughts about a deal with Bayern Munich. According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Lucas Hernandez, PSG has made Hernandez a priority and the Frenchman is contemplating the proposal despite pleas from Thomas Tuchel to stay in Bavaria: News #Hernández: Been told #PSG boss Al-#Khelaifi definitely wants him! Very difficult situation now. He‘s still hesitating to extend until 2027. More Bayern talks with him took place last week. Tuchel is pushing for him every day. He talked to him a lot this weekend again.➡️ Lucas has a big offer from PSG on the table confirmed ➡️ Big salary increase included ➡️ No official offer (BFW Editor’s Note: to Bayern Munich) from Paris yet. While a versatile and valuable player for Bayern Munich, Hernandez does carry a lengthy injury history. With Matthijs de Ligt and Dayot Upamecano on the roster, the Bavarians are covered for starting positions should Hernandez leave, but the club would likely have to invest in another starting caliber center-back to rotate with the duo. As Plettenberg notes, it remains to be seen what kind of offer PSG would actually make to Bayern Munich for a transfer fee as well.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen v FC Bayern München - Bundesliga Photo by Stefan Brauer/DeFodi Images via Getty Images The former Bayern Munich boss could land on his feet. Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg provided an update on where things stand between Paris Saint-Germain and former Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann. Nagelsmann’s name has been linked to several jobs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Napoli, but the reports placing him as a potential option for PSG are holding more water than the other destinations. Per Plettenberg, there is absolutely mutual interest between the two parties: Transfer News #Nagelsmann: @PSG_inside is definitely interested! Understand Al-Khelaifi can really imagine to engage Nagelsmann as their new manager. First positive talks took place. But no agreements yet. No signingMore rounds will follow. #PSGPlettenberg, however, was not done there. The journalist checked back in with even more information. Plettenberg said that PSG did not submit a proposal to Nagelsmann or Bayern Munich as of yet: News #Nagelsmann: No offer from #PSG yet. No negotiations with FC Bayern at this stage. Been told: Bayern demands a transfer fee between €10-15m! Bayern Munich will never fully recoup what it initially paid RB Leipzig for Nagelsmann (rumored to be in the neighborhood of €25 million), but the rumored amount Plettenberg is floating would be a pretty nice haul if the Bavarians can get it.

Bayern Munich will not let anyone grab Lucas Hernandez just yet. Despite the persistent rumors saying that the Frenchman will transfer to another club, the Rekordmeister and the player will meet Tuesday:News #Hernández: A personal meeting with the player is scheduled for Tuesday at Säbener Straße. Nothing has changed: There is a new contract until 2027 on the table for weeks; ready to sign. Understand his current salary is around €15m/year. Paris offers more salary. Still no concrete offer from #PSG to Bayern yet.– Sky Sports Deustchland journo Florian Plettenberg (@Plettigoal)Bayern’s contract offer remains the same and should Lucas sign the contract, it would see him stay at the club until 2027. Paris Saint-Germain, the club hot after Hernandez’s heels, have not submitted a concrete offer for the 27-year-old former Atletico Madrid defender although the Parisians are capable of giving Hernandez a much more lucrative deal if that offer does come.

France v Greece: Group B - UEFA EURO 2024 Qualifying Round Photo by Catherine Steenkeste/Getty Images All the eggs left in one basket? Rumored Bayern Munich transfer target Randal Kolo Muani has reportedly agreed terms with Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain. Per Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg:ℹ️ More on Kolo Muani: Verbal agreement with @PSG_inside is done - as revealed ✔️ Eintracht bosses were informed from Kolo Muani that he wants to join #PSG now. ❗️Understand, @Eintracht open for negotiations after the clear information from the player … ➡️ … but SGE boss Krösche definitely wants to receive €100m guaranteed (+ add-ons) ➡️ Eintracht, not interested in swap deals. They want to see money! Kolo Muani has long been linked with Bayern in view of the Bavarians’ apparent need for a new striker. But while the French international and World Cup star has Bundesliga experience, he has not appeared to have been at the top of Bayern’s list under either current manager Thomas Tuchel or predecessor Julian Nagelsmann. Why? Bayern’s pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane probably offers a clue: the Rekordmeister want either a more traditional or more well-established number nine at this price point. PSG’s interest is surely a good endorsement of the 24-year-old’s overall skills, however, and the versatile forward player could prove to be a successor to megastar Kylian Mbappé — whose relationship with PSG appears increasingly strained. If Eintracht Frankfurt conclude the sale of Kolo Muani to Paris, it’s one less possible fallback should the Kane talks go...well, as wayward as they are looking like right now. Fun times, eh?

As the weeks went on and the Dutchman did not get the playing time that he desired, Gravenberch hit the media at least three times to lament his place on the squad and complain about not playing. The midfielder’s potential still might be great, but his maturity as a player and professional still has a way to go. For English fans, maybe Jürgen Klopp can unlock that potential for Gravenberch. In the end, Bayern Munich did great business in selling Gravenberch for 40 million just one summer after acquiring him for 18.5 million. While the midfield depth looks a little thin at Bayern Munich these days, two consecutive coaches did not feel that Gravenberch had the necessary chops to play for Bayern Munich right now. RC Lens v AS Monaco - French Cup Bayern Munich is checking out all options. So far, Bayern Munich has been linked to Tottenham Hotspur’s Eric Dier, Paris Saint-Germain’s Nordi Mukiele, and Genoa center-back Radu Drăgușin, as it hopes to fill a hale or two on the backline.Per Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, there is yet another player on Bayern Munich’s transfer wish list — Lens center-back Kevin Danso: ℹ️ News #Danso: FC Bayern have inquired about contract details and transfer options in the last hours!➡️ Nothing concrete at the moment ➡️ But Freund is sounding out more options … Next to Dier & Dragusin. Paris Saint-Germain Training Session Photo by Aurelien Meunier - PSG/PSG via Getty Images Can Bayern Munich secure a deal? The January transfer window is almost over and Bayern Munich has added one player — former Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier. Knowing that his team has been linked to many players of late, Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel addressed the team’s rumored hunt for a right-back.“We always look for the whole package — young, good-looking and successful,” Tuchel said with a laugh (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “But the situation is tricky. Of course, other clubs have the same goals as us. That’s why the winter transfer window is a bit more complicated than the summer transfer window. “I won’t talk about names because I wouldn’t want others to talk about our players too. The positions we want to strengthen are clearly defined, but even if nothing happens, we will not deviate from our goals and will still try to achieve them with the current squad. If we have the chance to do something and are convinced that it would help the team, like with Eric (Dier), we’ll do it.”Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian also commented on the hunt for a right-back. “You know that we are working on one or two players. But we won’t do anything stupid or unreasonable. If we manage to find one, we’ll get him. And if not, then not,” Dreesen told Sky Sport journalist Kerry Hau (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). One thing is clear, if Bayer Leverkusen is looking at players like Asensio, it is serious about maintaining its stronghold on the Bundesliga table.

Tottenham Hotspur v FC Bayern Munich - Pre-Season Friendly Photo by Jacques Feeney/Offside/Offside via Getty Images Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman could be on his way out the door... Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has been up for sale all summer, but a permanent move might not be in the cards for the Frenchman. Instead, Bayern Munich is considering a loan with an option or an obligation to buy — with Paris Saint-Germain as the top candidate to land the France international. If you were wondering where another potential landing spot might be, the much-talked about Manchester City interest in Coman seems to be non-existent at this point: ️ Kingsley #Coman, with 27 minutes against Spurs tonight. As revealed, 28 y/o winger can leave FC Bayern on loan with an option or obligation to buy. We‘ve been told, there’s no concrete interest from ManCity yet. Most concrete option at this stage: Paris Saint-Germain. But nothing advanced. Just formal talks have taken place. Also between the clubs as Bayern and #PSG have a top collaboration. It is curious why Bayern Munich is insisting on some type of loan arrangement rather than a straight sale. As of now, it seems like Coman will have a tough time getting consistent playing time in Bavaria this season — and maybe in 2025/26 as well. Coman played 28 minutes during Bayern Munich’s 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, where he completed six of 10 passes and won three of four ground duels, but lost possession six times on only 19 touches.
