Kehrer to stay at PSG (@Plettigoal)For those of you sweating out the reports that Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Kehrer was a transfer target of Bayern Munich, we have some good news courtesy of Sport1 journalist Florian Plettenberg.Instead of a potential move, Kehrer wants to stay in Paris and prove himself:News #Kehrer: A move to #FCBayern is currently not an issue. Surely a move like that would ease any doubt, but the viability of it actually happening is what really should be in doubt. One thing that seems clear, however, is that Bayern Munich has a versatile, central midfielder atop its wish list.Regardless, I’m one of the (few?) people not sweating starting the season with Benjamin Pavard as the right-back, so I don’t harbor some of the uneasiness many fans feel about that position.Grealish to City looks done (@FabrizioRomano)Aston Villa star Jack Grealish appears set for his long-rumored move to Manchester City:Jack Grealish to Manchester City, here we go! Paris Saint Germain v RC Strasbourg - Ligue 1 Uber EatsPhoto by Aurelien Meunier - PSG/PSG via Getty ImagesHopefully the German journos are right, because signing Kehrer would be the wrong move. The possibility of Thilo Kehrer joining Bayern Munich has left fans of the Bavarian superclub horrified and disheartened. While the supporters want to see the likes of Marcel Sabitzer and Amine Adli finalized in the upcoming days, French outlet L’Equipe reported with some confidence that the Bayern bosses were negotiating with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of the 24-year-old.Now, multiple journalists in Germany have refuted that report, claiming that there are no negotiations for Kehrer and no deal has been reached with his representatives:Update #Kehrer: No! He won’t move to #FCBayern this summer. No agreement. No negotiations. @SPORT1 https://t.co/sdFMVrAq4u— Florian Plettenberg (@Plettigoal) August 19, 2021FC Bayern is still looking for two new players if possible, but there is no sign of a quick transfer. The rumors about Kehrer are wrong, he is not about to move to Munich.— Tobi Altschäffl (@altobelli13) August 19, 2021If true, these reports come as a relief to Bayern fans. While the club definitely needs a new right-back, Kehrer isn’t our man. His career highlights include being humilated by Kingsley Coman at Schalke, and being humiliated by Kingsley Coman in the Champions League final. Unless we’re buying him to give Coman more motivation in training, he’s not someone Bayern should be after.Of course, French journos love to ruin our mood, so here’s one who’s sticking to his guns re: Kehrer.Info : - Pas encore d'accord entre Thilo Kehrer et le #Bayern

West Ham United v Manchester United - Premier League Photo by Sebastian Frej/MB Media/Getty Images Bullet dodged? Some Bayern Munich fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as it looks like Thilo Kehrer will be heading to AS Monaco on a loan assignment from West Ham. Kehrer had been linked to Bayern Munich because the Bavarians were eying a versatile defender to add into the mix for its roster. It seems that the Bayern Munich has moved on from those thoughts and that Kehrer is on a clear path to AS Monaco: ⬜️ X News #Kehrer: It’s almost a DONE DEAL now!

Now, though, it appears that Kehrer will not be an issue for the Bavarians.
