Action expected in coming weeks between Palhinha, Spurs (GiveMeSport)Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich have done some good business together of late and more could be on the way. In recent reports, Tottenham has been linked to Bayern Munich midfielderJoão Palhinha and it seems like Spurs could be inclined to make a move for Palhinha in the coming weeks — just do not expect them to rush into it: Tottenham Hotspur have made contact with Bayern Munich midfielder Joao Palhinha over a summer transfer, according to Fabrizio Romano.Spurs have had a relatively quiet start to the transfer window compared to their fellow ‘Big Six’ clubs. With Mohammed Kudus through the door, and the young Japanese defender, Kota Takai, signing on the dotted line, that completes the north London side’s transfer business so far.Alongside the loan deals for Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel becoming permanent, the Lilywhites are now awaiting their next incoming. That player that looked to be Morgan Gibbs-White, but a move that has since stalled due to legal issues, it appears Spurs will now turn their attention to Palhinha, having contacted the Portuguese player’s camp.Hoping to bolster in the middle of the park, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Frank’s side have ‘genuine interest’ in Palhinha, who has been described as ‘world-class’, and have made an initial approach to his camp to discuss a move.Šeško to NUFC? However, there is still no verbal agreement. But Newcastle/Sesko working on it. #NUFC have had Sesko on their radar since 2022. Let’s see what happens in the coming days and weeks. So far, Leipzig have not received any offer for Sesko. Leipzig are demanding €80–100 million.Plettenberg’s last note there runs counter to other reports, which say that €70 million is the asking price for the Slovenian. If — somehow — the price really is €70 million, Bayern Munich could potentially be lured into taking a look at a player we know the club likes.
