Germany Training And Press ConferencePhoto by Alexander Hassenstein/Getty ImagesThe hits just keep coming.“Even in the future nothing works,” — Lord Helmet, SpaceballsBayern Munich might be on an international break, but that has not stopped the injury gods from wreaking a little havoc on the Bavarians.Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is expected to miss the squad’s Liechtenstein match due to the lingering capsular ligament injury in his right ankle that he suffered while playing Bayern Munich.News #Neuer: Its likely that he will miss the match against ! @SPORT1 @berger_pj— Florian Plettenberg (@Plettigoal) September 1, 2021Okay, that is not altogether unsurprising because Neuer was battling that knock for a bit now.So...what else?Well, according to Bild journalist Heiko Niedderer, Thomas Müller is suffering from adductor issues and sat out practice:Neben Manuel Neuer heute ebenfalls nicht dabei: Thomas Müller! Has adductor problems. #dfb #trainingGuessing on the severity of the injury would not be wise, but surely Bayern Munich fans are hoping it is not serious.More, France midfielder Corentin Tolisso’s run of awful injury luck has continued per RMC Sport:Corentin Tolisso was injured in training on Tuesday with the France team and is unlikely to play the match against Bosnia-Herzegovina this Wednesday evening (8:45 p.m.) as part of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.According to our information, the midfielder was injured in training on Tuesday on the eve of the match. The nature of his injury has not yet filtered out but should force the Bayern Munich player to give up this back-to-school match for the Blues. The injury gods have no mercy.Update 6:10AM ESTIt looks like Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer will both be out for Hansi Flick’s inaugural match against Liechtenstein:Manuel Neuer (ankle) and Thomas Müller (adductor) will both miss tomorrow's game against Liechtenstein. The fact Thomas Tuchel speaks French and there’s also French athletics coach Nicolas Mayer in the staff, made Boey’s debut easier. Boey made a good impression in his first session. Finally, Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen spoke about Boey. “After the injuries [Laimer, Upamecano, Kimmich], rework had to be done. And when you’re unlucky with injuries, that doesn’t necessarily make it any easier. We therefore continued to negotiate again after the game. The player fits exactly with the approach that Christoph Freund stands for — namely, finding young players with potential who, although they cost money, can potentially become even better with us,” Dreesen told Tz (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). 2006 player training with first teamJavier…

Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich has been more under fire than ever before at the club. Rumored to be at war with head coach Thomas Tuchel, Kimmich is seeking to get into his best form after some up-and-down moments this season. To help with that, the 29-year-old put in an extra shift of individual training: Joshua Kimmich macht nach dem Teamtraining noch eine Extra-Einheit mit Fitness-Professor Broich. pic.twitter.com/NM6Ruz2YpI— Heiko Niedderer (@itstheicebird) February 22, 2024After team training, Joshua Kimmich does an extra session with fitness professor Broich.Davies continues workingIn a race against time to be ready for the RB Leipzig match on Saturday, Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies continues his rehab effort at Säbener Straße: Alphonso Davies macht individuelles Training. #fcbayern pic.twitter.com/hCmmUMkrFA— Heiko Niedderer (@itstheicebird) February 22, 2024Alphonso Davies does individual training. #fcbayernDavies’ status is one that the team — and fans — will be following closely leading into Saturday’s big match. FC Bayern München v Bayer 04 Leverkusen - DFB Cup: Round of 16 Photo by Marco Steinbrenner/DeFodi Images via Getty Images Bayern Munich preparing to face off with Heidenheim... Not many folks expected Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany to call Aleksandar Pavlović’s number on Tuesday during the team’s 1-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB-Pokal. After breaking his collarbone, Pavlović had just returned to team training and it was assumed that he might not be fit enough to play so soon. The midfielder played 17 uneventful minutes, which left some questioning if he was really ready to go. The 20-year-old insisted that he was ready and is back at full fitness. “I’m fully fit again. I have no more problems, nothing. I’m very happy. I’m doing everything I can to get back into the starting lineup. I’ll do my best and then we’ll see,” Pavlović told Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). Kane completes running sessionBayern Munich star Harry Kane is working his way to the lineup as he completed a running session on Thursday morning (via FCBayern.com): Harry Kane made a step towards his return as he completed a running session at Säbener Straße on Thursday morning for the first time since suffering a muscle strain in his right thigh last weekend against Borussia Dortmund. Zur Meldung: https://t.co/1nBkFwBOy4 #FCBayern #MiaSanMia #Training pic.twitter.com/QHFTMYWfoA— FC Bayern München (@FCBayern) December 5, 2024Min-jae battling through knocksKim Min-jae told Tz’s Philipp Kessler (via @iMiaSanMia) that he would rather wear himself down than sit on the bench. “I’ve stressed many times that I would rather play and possibly wear myself out than sit on the bench. If I can do something for the team, I will give it my all. My teammates and the club know that I’m a fighter. I want to play as often as possible and help the team,” said Min-jae.That is all well and good — and quite admirable. However, running himself into the ground is exactly why the center-back fell apart in the second half of last season. Maybe, a little rest would serve him well.
