🌸 The unity and relation of Islamic Ummah with other people of the world who have different religions is just as important as the unity and relation of Muslims with each other.

🌸 This unity is only seen in the Arbaeen walk. And it is seen no where except in Muharram month, Arbaeen, and Safar.

🌸 People may have diverse ideas and beliefs but these diversities are put aside in Muharram, Safar and Arbaeen walk.

🌸 We see people of different religions such as Kalimi, Christians, Muslims and Sunnies together in this great centuary walk.

🌸 We have never seen such a unity that people with great differences in culture from America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Shias and Sunnies all get together for one great reason, Imam Husayn (a) . That is because they all love him.

The reflection of the 20-million people march of Arbaeen in the American magazine "Hafington post".

It is said in this article that: If you want to know the true Islam, go on the Arbaeen pilgrimage, because it is the ceremony of values and role models; and if you want to recognize the Daesh, go on the Arbaeen pilgrimage and get to know Daesh's enemies.

According to the report of culture news, the famous American magazine "Hafington post" have dealt with the million Arbaeen pilgrimage in an article.

In the aformentioned article, Arbaeen is described as "the most impressive religious gathering in the world" and it is written in that article that: the number of pilgrims in this gathering is 5 times more than the big and important ceremony of "Milay Kumbe" of Hindus which is held once every three year, and in addition, in spite of the dangerous security condition and dangers of terrorism and explosion threatening people every moment, people hold this great march and send their message to the world.

The writer of the article then quotes the story of an Austrailian man who goes to Karbala and coverts to Islam from Catholic Christianity after watching the impressive pilgrimage of Arbaeen on Tv in 2003 when Sadam is overthrown.

The writer then explains about and compares the Arbaeen march with other events and writes: " in the Haiti earthquake, the United States Ministry of Defense distributed only about 4 million food meals but in Arbaeen, the pilgrimes are provided with 200 million food meals which are all free and come from charity sources.

The writer believes that Arbaeen march should be recorded in the Guinness record book as the biggest human gathering, the biggest food share in the world, and the biggest number of volunteers in one place.

He then strongly criticizes the Western mass media for their political approach to the Arbaeen pilgrimage and asks: How come a small demonstration in London or in Hong Kong is bolded and covered but the biggest human gathering in the world with the presence of women, men and even children is ignored?

Finally the writer at the end says: if you want to get to know the true Islam, go on the Arbaeen pilgrimage because it is the ceremony of values and role models and if you want to get to know Daesh, go on the Arbaeen pilgrimage and recognize the Daesh's enemies.

What is the relationship between Hussain and the followers of other religions that makes them willing to pay the price and endure the hardships of the Arbaeen walk?

Is it not the attraction of their fitra _ their natural predisposition to worship One God _ to a perfect human role model?

If someone asks, "What common pain these thirty million people who participate in the Arbaeen Walk each year, from 90 different countries and different beliefs and religions, share?"

One should respond, "A need for a savior is a common pain these people share!"

Repression by global arrogance, global tyranny, global corruption, global discrimination, and getting fed-up with global culture is the common pain these people share.

Just like the uprising of Imam Hussain (a), the main feature of Arbaeen procession is the sincere participation of people in it. Also, during this procession, a deep understanding and familiarity will form between the participants who are from different nations, religions, and walks of life, which brings about kindness and closeness of heart between them.

This kindness, self-sacrifice, generosity, and empathy that people show toward each other during this procession, create a scene which looks as if it belongs to the era after the advent of the Savior.

Also, if we believe that the reappearance of Imam Mahdi is in line with the uprising of Imam Hussain (a), then Arbaeen procession would undoubtedly be a clear example of that.

As soon as we realize we are a "Hussein" ourselves, we cannot accept to be less than Imam Hussein (AS). Even if we go to heaven as their companion, we will not settle for anything less than the rank of Imam Hussein (AS).

We can become a real helper of Imam al-Mahdi's (AS) right now, and we can be a true anticipant of his return. So long as we are determined and active, we can their praised station.

We should not procrastinate on this path. When we introduce our blood as Hussein's blood, it means we are a "Hussein", and we must nurture and enhance this "Hussein" to join Imam Hussein (AS) in heaven.

We have a "Shimr" in ourselves as well. Therefore, what we become depends on what aspect of ourselves we nurture and enhance and emphasize on, until either Hussein, or Shimr, or Umar ibn Saad, or Yazid ibn Moawiyah, or ibn al-Ziyad is manifested in us.

To love Imam Mahdi (AS) means to be at his service, and to remain loyal to him.

Why people murdered Imam Hussain (a) although they liked him?

Many of Umar ibn Sa'ad's army members, liked Imam Hussain (AS), but that didn't stop them from fighting him.

It's because mere liking was not enough! What the Quran wants, is to love Ahl al-Bayt (Prophet Muhammad's Household).

Our religious resources advise us to go on Imam Hussain (AS) pilgrimage and to walk to his shrine so that our hearts go beyond simply liking them, to having love for them.

This love is something that makes us move and work for the infallible Imams, instead of having them as one of the many things that we like.
