Dear Daughter,
The axe was laid at the root, not the branches — because shallow fixes never solved a fruitless tree.

If a pattern keeps repeating in your marriage, stop trimming the symptom. Go to the root — usually fear, pride, or unhealed pain.
Root-work is slower, but it's the only work that lasts.
'The axe is laid to the root of the trees' (Matt 3:10).
