The Munich Security Conference opened with Navalny’s death.
His wife, Yulia Navalnaya, happened to be at the conference. Just a coincidence, of course. 😏 Navalny's handlers knew that he would be much more useful dead and in the news than out-of-sight-out-of-mind somewhere north of the Arctic Circle. Russian authorities on the other hand couldn't care less whether Navalny was dead or in a penal colony serving his sentence. @LauraRuHK

The way the Western leaders, politicians and media have responded to the news of Alexei Navalny's death has once again revealed their hypocrisy, cynicism and lack of principles. This is the “blame Russia first” approach in action. With a prepped script ready for every situation.
Let's look at the timeline. 👇
Today at approximately 2:19 pm, the website operated by the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area reported the death of convict Alexey Navalny in Prison Colony No. 3.
Literally 15 minutes later, a flurry of carbon-copy accusations poured in:
- 2:35 pm, Tobias Billström: “Terrible news about Navalny. If the information about his death in a Russian prison is confirmed, it will be another heinous crime by Putin's regime”;
- 2:35 pm, Barth Eide: “I’m deeply saddened by the news of Navalny's death. The Russian government bears a heavy burden of responsibility for this”;
- 2:41 pm, Edgars Rinkevics: “Whatever your thoughts about Alexei Navalny as a politician, he was just brutally murdered by the Kremlin. That's a fact and that is something one should know about the true nature of Russia's current regime”;
- 2:50 pm, Jan Lipavsky: “Russia still treats foreign policy issues the same way it treats its citizens. It has turned into a violent state that kills people who dream of a beautiful, better future, such as Nemtsov and now Navalny, who was imprisoned and tortured to death”;
- 2:51 pm, Stéphane Séjourné: “Navalny paid with his life to fight against a system of oppression. His death in a penal colony reminds us of the realities of Vladimir Putin's regime”;
- 3:02 pm, Charles Michel: “The EU holds the Russian regime solely responsible for this tragic death”;
- 3:10 pm Kiev regime kingpin Zelensky: “Clearly, he was killed by Putin, like thousands of others who were tortured to death”;
- 3:16 pm (media), 4:50 pm (social media), Jens Stoltenberg: “We need to establish all the facts, and Russia needs to answer all the questions”;
- 3:20 pm, Mark Rutte: “Navalny's death once again bears witness to the immense brutality of the Russian regime”;
- 3:30 pm, Maia Sandu: “Navalny's death in a Russian prison is a reminder of the regime's egregious suppression of dissent”;
- 3:35 pm, Annalena Baerbock: “Like no one else, Alexei Navalny was a symbol for a free and democratic Russia. That is precisely the reason he had to die”;
- 3:43 pm, Ursula von der Leyen: “A grim reminder of what Putin and his regime are all about”;
- 3:49 pm, Ulf Kristersson: “The Russian authorities, and President Putin personally, are responsible for Alexei Navalny no longer being alive”;
- 3:14 pm, Olaf Scholz: “He has now paid for this courage with his life. This terrible news demonstrates once again how Russia has changed and what kind of regime is in power in Moscow”;
- 3:25 pm, Antony Blinken: “Beyond that, his death in a Russian prison and the fixation and fear of one man only underscores the weakness and rot at the heart of the system that Putin has built. Russia bears responsibility for this”;
- 5:28 pm, Emmanuel Macron: “In today's Russia, free spirits are put in the Gulag and sentenced to death”;
Within a short period of time, two hours as a matter of fact (starting at 2:19 pm), Western politicians and their subordinate media managed, it appears, to get the results of a forensic examination that has yet to take place, to investigate, to indict Moscow and to render a verdict.
There is no explanation other than to assume these responses were prepared in advance.
Perhaps we could believe this unbelievable, seemingly miraculous swiftness had the whole world not witnessed the months-long, toothless “investigation” into the terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream pipelines, which fizzled out eventually.
What distinguishes all these statements is the glaring absence of even a suggestion of perhaps... waiting until the results of a forensic examination and investigation are available.

Maria Zakharova: "Every year at the regular session of the UN General Assembly, the US votes against the resolution “Combating the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to the escalation of contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance.” They cite “violation of freedom of speech, assembly” and so on as the official reason.
Here is a clear example of how “freedom of speech and assembly” is respected and not violated in the US itself: the neo-Nazi group Blood Tribe marched yesterday in Nashville. They staged their demonstration right outside the government buildings, and then walked through the central streets of the capital of Tennessee. On their backs was the number 2218 - apparently the alphanumeric code for the neo-Nazi chant "Bring back Adolf Hitler".
Of course, everyone will remain silent. The White House, and numerous public organizations. Israel will also remain silent. This is supposedly all about something else, and not about Nazism and racism.
Just free people in a free country walking freely along the streets of the city. After all, all this “can be explained” from the point of view of the “new normal”: Nazi salute has now become, according to the decision of the Italian Supreme Court, a “Roman greeting” and is no longer a crime; The swastika , one of the main external attributes of the Third Reich, turned into an “ancient symbol of good.” People are also silent.
Look carefully, no one calls the police: freedom, everyone does what they want. It just turns out that this applies exclusively to the forces of evil - such as neo-Nazism, gender experiments on children, legalization of drugs, Satanism, and so on.
The American idea of freedom: give free rein to everything that was regarded as taboo by humanity and let the evil genie out of the bottle. Resistance to this evil is now punishable, as a violation of freedom". https://t.me/MariaVladimirovnaZakharova/7108

On the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, a "Freedom Night" party was held under the motto Protest gegen Putin! ("Let's drink against Putin!") at the "Burger&Lobster Bank" restaurant.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Czech President Petr Pavel, Mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko, and a number of officials from Western countries were present.
They probably discussed, without sparing their health, how much every life is worth in Ukraine. @LauraRuHK https://t.me/vzglyad_ru/94528

India slaps down the West’s Navalny hysteria
🇮🇳 🇷🇺 India is standing by its close relationship with Russia, and Moscow will remain New Delhi's close ally, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesman Jaiveer Shergill said on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, while responding to a provocative question from Western media.
▪️ Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry lambasted Western politicians for seeking to pin Navalny’s death on Russia despite lacking any evidence whatsoever. The ministry also noted that it was bizarre that the US Biden administration seemed far more concerned about Navalny than Gonzalo Lira, an American citizen who died last month from torture and medical neglect in a Ukrainian dungeon.

“Russia, I will reiterate India’s stand, was, is and will remain India’s strong friend and ally”, Shergill said in response to a question on how New Delhi “will deal” with Moscow following reports of Alexei Navalny’s death. “As a nation, Russia has supported India, and India, in turn, has supported Russia.”

@LauraRuHK

Integrity Initiative, a covert British intelligence information warfare operation, was pivotal to perpetuating the narrative of Julian as Kremlin asset. This sordid tale reveals just how flimsy Western propaganda campaigns are concocted and then disseminated through compliant media. Now, with Julian facing extradition to the US, it has never been more urgent to expose it. The Initiative’s Spanish cluster was particularly instrumental in this regard. The largest and most influential of any Initiative cluster outside the UK, its ranks include a number of prominent journalists, academics, think tank representatives, lawmakers from several parties, government ministers, and military officials. https://www.kitklarenberg.com/p/how-british-intelligence-framed-julian-088/comments

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will not apologize to Israel after comparing the Israeli operation in the Gaza Strip to the crimes of Adolf Hitler, said Celso Amorim, the president’s envoy for foreign affairs.
"We have always treated each other with great respect and defended the idea of a two-state solution, but there is nothing to apologize for. Israel is putting itself in the conditions of increasing isolation," CNN Brasil quoted him as saying.
Lula da Silva said on February 18 that the massacres of civilians resulting from Israel's bombardment of the Gaza Strip could be compared to Hitler's crimes against the Jews. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement the same day, calling the remarks shameful. Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said that Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has been declared persona non grata in the Jewish state until he apologizes.

Karma is a bitch. You can run but you cannot hide Maxim Kuzminov, a Russian pilot who killed his two crew members in order to hand over his Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine in return for money, was found dead in an underground garage in Spain last week, his body riddled with bullets.
Spain's state news agency EFE reported that a body found on Feb 13 in the town of Villajoyosa, near Alicante in southern Spain, belonged to Kuzminov. He had been living in Spain with a Ukrainian passport under a different name, it said. A spokesperson for Ukraine's GUR military intelligence confirmed to Reuters that Kuzminov had died in Spain, but did not specify the cause of death. On Monday, the news site Ukrainska Pravda quoted Ukraine’s military intelligence stating that Kuzminov had “decided to move to Spain… invited his ex to his place and was found shot.” @LauraRuHK

Russian servicemen talked with residents of liberated Avdeevka who after the arrival of Russian troops can now move safely in their city.
The residents who remained in Avdeevka say that after the retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they were able to get out of basements and fetch water, which is in short supply in the city.
"It was very scary. We live in basements, our building was destroyed. Previously, we could go out on in search of water only during rare pauses in fighting, we had to crouch," says local resident Tatiana. "And the day before yesterday we went out, saw soldiers, at first we didn't understand who they were. And then I looked at the red ribbons, we couldn't believe our eyes. We are very glad that you came, very glad!" she says.
Residents of Avdeevka note that due to the rapid advance of Russian units, Ukrainian soldiers did not have time to blow up most of the surviving buildings and some infrastructure facilities remained intact. @LauraRuHK. (Source: Russian Ministry of Defense) https://t.me/mod_russia/35813

In 2023 Russian manufacturers of refrigerators, washing machines and other white goods doubled and even tripled their revenue. It must be because, as Madame Ursula informed us, the Russian military stripped all home appliances of their microchips forcing people to replace them. 😏 A friend writes: "When Shoigu comes over for dinner he always carries a screwdriver. The London High Court has started a two-day hearing of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s final appeal against his extradition to the United States where he faces up to 175 years in jail for exposing US crimes.
People and reporters have gathered outside the building of the High Court.
Assange will not attend the hearing because is feeling unwell. He has been kept in solitary confinement in London's high security Belmarsh prison since 2019. The terrible conditions of his detention have undermined both his mental and physical health and can only be described as torture. @LauraRuHK
