*Don't Speak ill of your Wife*

It is mentioned, there was a villager who divorced his wife.

People went to enquire the reason for his divorce.

He said: ❝I have given her one talaq, and she is still in my nikah, if I take her back during her Iddah (waiting period), and if I am going to open to you her faults, how will it be possible to take her back?❞

They waited till her Iddah was over, and they returned to the villager with the same question.

He said: ❝If I open up her faults to you; how will it be possible for her to find a suitable person to get married to?❞

As soon as she remarried, these people were back again at the villagers door with the same question.

The villager replied: ❝How can it possible for me to tell you about another man's wife, destroy her reputation and honour, whilst I'm a stranger to her?❞

Subhan'Allah Here is a fine example of how a husband and wife should ❝BEHAVE❞ for the sake of Allah! (The Most High)

All those years that a husband and wife spend together whether happy or sad a special bond is formed.

May Allah (The Most High) never let us become bitter towards each other no matter what the outcome.

Ameen!

“Always keep your relationship information private from others. This is another one of the causes of marriages breaking apart and infidelity creeping in, as you would be sharing your concerns about your relationship with a person other than your own spouse. This may cause feelings to develop and then Shaytaan will takeover. Always make sure to talk to your spouse directly with regards to any issues within your relationship instead of an outsider. May Allah SWT bless all our marriages Ameen.”

Sisters,

Protect Yourselves!

How many sisters are walking around unknowingly possessed by jinns and some even married to them? You don't understand why up till now you're not married? You don't know why every Suitor suddenly looses interest in you and backs out? You are having numerous dreams of sexual encounter with strange Men? You don't know why you feel so distant from your spouse or emotionally unavailable when with your spouse? Check yourself!
Your hair is all exposed, tight jeans and exposed cleavage. You think it's fashion, No sister, it's an open invitation to the jinns, that's what mostly attract them(Jinns). Allah ordered you to cover up not only as a sign of modesty but to also protect yourself from the unseen.

Protect Yourselves Sisters!

May Allaah Subuhanahu Wa Ta'ala protect us all. Aameen

Women... Take a note of it...

Marry someone you love and who loves you for the sake of Allah. When love is rooted in taqwa, mercy and sincerity, forgiveness becomes easier and both spouses are more willing to stand by each other through life’s difficulties.

Marry for mutual love and it becomes easier to forgive, grow, and stay. When both hearts choose each other, loyalty follows naturally. 💞

"The young man thinks he will face poverty & unemployment.
The young woman thinks she will never get married.
The married woman thinks she will not conceive.
The old man thinks he will face illness.
The student thinks he will not pass his exams.

All of these thoughts come to you from Shaytan...

"Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allah is Ample-giving and All-Knowing."
[2: 268]

Trust, and have good thoughts of Allah."

Mothers:

I’m going to be brutally honest here.

Stop raising your sons to become entitled, pampered, self-indulgent man-children by serving them hand and foot. Or worse yet, expecting your daughters to clean up after them just because he possesses a magical Y chromosome and they don’t.

Stop raising your sons to lack emotional intelligence by teaching them that being in touch with their emotions and feelings means that they lack masculinity. Real men do cry.

Stop raising your sons with the expectation that you will be there to financially compensate when they demonstrate a lack of ambition, drive or a decent work ethic.

Stop raising your sons to think that they are magnanimously ‘helping’ their wives when they are called upon to parent their own children or contribute around the house.

And please, stop raising your sons to think that they can defile and use other girls so long as at the end of the day it’s a pure virginal woman that he makes his wife.

Your brand of ‘love’ is crippling your sons. And it’s spawning a breed of man incapable of competently navigating the financial, emotional and physical challenges of marriage.

Because if there is anything in life that I have learned, through decades of listening to the problems of other sisters, it’s this: A wife is not a centre to rehabilitate badly raised men.

The attributes necessary to be a good husband don’t miraculously materialise upon marriage. The attributes of a good husband are nurtured, developed and taught from the example you set for your son in your home as they were raised.

At the end of the day, women want a man they can partner, not parent.

MARRIAGE IS A TRUST

Islam emphasizes the importance of fulfilling the rights of one’s spouse and maintaining affection, intimacy, and mutual care within marriage.

This hadith reminds spouses not to neglect each other’s legitimate rights—while kindness, consideration, and mutual respect remain essential in a healthy marriage.

What has been related about the husband's rights over the wife

Talq bin Ali narrated that The Messenger of Allah ‎ﷺ‎
said:

“When a man calls his wife to fulfill his need, then let her come, even if she is at the oven.”

The Dangers of Zina

Speaking about the destructive consequences of zina, Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“Among the effects of zina is that it can lead to the severing of family ties, disobedience towards parents, unlawful earnings, mistreatment of others, and neglect of one’s wife and children. It may even lead a person to unlawfully shed blood.

A person may seek the help of sihr (witchcraft) or shirk in order to commit zina. Whether he realises it or not, this sin is often accompanied by other sins that come before it, alongside it, and after it.

Zina is surrounded by a multitude of sins. It is among the things most likely to bring about evil in this world and the Hereafter, and among the things most likely to prevent good in both.

When a person falls into its traps and snares, it can become extremely difficult to escape. Its prisoner is not easily freed, and its victim is not easily rescued.

It can also become a means of losing blessings. When a person falls into this trap, let him fear for the blessings of Allah, for blessings can depart from a person and disappear.”

Zina is not merely a private sin with private consequences. It can open the door to a chain of other sins and cause harm far beyond the moment itself.

So protect your heart, your eyes, your private moments, and your boundaries.

And if you have fallen into sin, do not despair of Allah’s mercy. Leave the sin, sincerely repent, and return to Him before the door closes.

Q: My wife's family is causing distress for me and my wife. What is the ruling on shunning them and stopping visits to them?

Sh. Ibn Uthaymeen: You have the right to shun them and not visit them if visiting them causes harm to you or corrupts your wife. You have the right to refrain from visiting them, and you also have the right to prevent your wife from visiting them. I strongly advise those who drive a wedge between a man and his wife, and I say: Their action is like the action of sorcerers -and refuge is sought with Allah.

It is obligatory to refrain from interfering in what happens between spouses. If it happens that one of the spouses falls short in their duties, they should be advised directly, without bringing it up to their partner in a way that creates jealousy or resentment in their heart. Being clear and straightforward is obligatory to the best of one's ability, and it is better in all circumstances. Yes.

"The good woman is for the good man, and the good man is for the good woman." (QS. An Nur: 26)

But what about the story of Asiyah, who was married to Pharaoh? Or the story of Prophet Lot whose wife was disobedient?

These stories teach us why a wife must remain righteous and a husband must stay righteous, even if their spouse’s character isn’t yet good.

They shouldn’t be used as a standard for judging men and women today because, no matter how bad people’s character is now, Allah will not allow it to be as bad as in the time of ignorance.

So for those still unsure because you feel you’re not yet good enough for a righteous partner,
there’s good news for you.

A good man for a good woman isn’t just about already being perfect,
but about being willing to grow together toward righteousness.

Learn to understand history with Allah’s greatness and knowledge,
not just with limited human understanding."

Don’t Miss the Golden Hour of Dua Saat al Istijabah✨

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“On Friday, there is an hour during which no Muslim asks Allah for good but He grants it to him — and it is after ‘Asr.”
📖 Abu Dawood (1048), al-Nasaa’i (1389)

This is Sāʿat al-Istijābah – the Hour of Response.
A precious window of mercy.
A divine invitation to pour your heart out.
Amoment where the heavens open and the Most Merciful listens closely.

📿 After ‘Asr on Fridays…
Raise your hands.
Whisper your pain.
Ask boldly. Cry sincerely.
Pray for yourself, your family, this Ummah.

🤍Don’t scroll it away. Don’t let it pass distracted.
This could be the moment your duʿāʾ is answered.

May Allah make us among those who remember, ask, and are answered.
Ya Allah, do not let this hour pass without accepting our duʿās. Ameen.

A man might be praising his wife on social media for being a supportive wife while she is all burnt out and fed up in the marriage.

A woman might be praising her husband for being quite an understanding husband while in reality he got pushed to a point he no longer complains. He is fed up deep down and just letting things be for the sake of the kids.

Do not prioritise the public image of your marriage over its true health. Go and fix your marriage!

A couple recently reached out to me for premarital counselling before making the decision to marry.

They wanted guidance on what they should be discussing now, what they should be looking out for, and what actually helps build a healthy and lasting marriage.

Here is a summary of some of the advice I gave them:

1. Make sure there is genuine attraction.

Not just physical attraction, but attraction to the person’s character, personality, values and overall presence.

2. Look carefully at their relationship with Allah.

Prayer, halal and haram, Islamic values, modesty, financial dealings and how they want to raise children all matter.

A marriage cannot be separated from the deen of the two people entering it.

3. Character matters enormously.

Look for emotional maturity, empathy, honesty, patience, humility, accountability and the ability to manage difficult emotions without becoming destructive.

4. Understand each other’s upbringing.

Ask about their relationship with their mother and father, what marriage looked like in their childhood home, how conflict was handled, whether there was neglect, abuse, instability or other unresolved trauma.

We often bring our childhood into our marriage without even realising it.

5. Learn about attachment styles.

Some people become anxious when they feel distance. Others withdraw when they feel overwhelmed.

Understanding these patterns can prevent both people from constantly misinterpreting each other.

6. Discuss any mental health or neurodivergent factors.

ADHD, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, addictions and other challenges do not automatically make someone unsuitable for marriage.

But they should be understood, managed and never hidden.

7. Discuss your deal-breakers before marriage.

Children. Parenting. Money. In-laws. Living arrangements. Career. Religious practice. Smoking. Lifestyle. Health decisions. Social boundaries.

Do not assume you will “work it out later.”

8. Talk openly about money.

Who will provide? What are your expectations around saving, spending, debt, work, children and lifestyle?

Financial assumptions can create major problems later.

9. Discuss children before having children.

How many? When? Islamic schooling? Qur’an? Arabic? Discipline? Grandparents? Childcare? Work arrangements?

Parenting disagreements are often value disagreements.

10. Be very clear about in-laws and living arrangements.

Healthy boundaries are not disrespect.

A couple needs enough space to build their own identity as husband and wife.

11. Learn how to manage conflict before the first major conflict happens.

Conflict is inevitable.

Disrespect is not.

Learn how to pause when emotionally flooded, come back to the discussion when calm, listen properly and look for solutions rather than trying to win.

12. Never allow unresolved problems to keep accumulating.

Resistance to discussing a problem can become resentment.

Resentment can eventually become rejection.

Many couples who think they have a “communication problem” actually have an unresolved connection problem underneath it.

13. Learn your partner’s personality instead of constantly trying to change it.

Temperament, personality type, love language and emotional style can help explain why someone responds differently.

Different does not always mean wrong.

14. Ask yourself one very important question:

“Can I tolerate the weaknesses this person may never completely change?”

Never marry someone based only on their potential.

You must also be able to accept the reality of who they are today.

15. Keep Allah at the centre of the relationship.

One of the simplest ways I explain it is with a triangle.

Allah is at the top and the husband and wife are at the two lower corners.

As both people move closer to Allah, they naturally move closer to one another.

16. Protect the marriage spiritually.

Maintain the prayers.

Stay away from haram.

Read the morning and evening adhkar.

Make regular du’a for your marriage.

And never underestimate the power of asking Allah to protect the hearts of two people.
🕊7💯2
17. Pray Istikharah.

Do your research.

Ask difficult questions.

Seek advice.

Then ask Allah to facilitate what is good and turn away what is harmful.

18. Never stop learning.

Marriage requires ongoing growth spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially and relationally.

The goal before marriage should not only be:

“How do I find the right person?”

It should also be:

“How do I become the right person?”

Premarital counselling can uncover conversations that many couples simply never think to have until they are already married and struggling.

Sometimes one honest conversation before marriage can prevent years of pain afterwards.

If you are seriously considering someone for marriage, seek guidance early.

Ask the difficult questions.

Understand yourself.

Understand them.

And do everything possible to enter marriage with clarity rather than assumptions.

Choosing the right spouse is one of the most important decisions you will ever make.

Prepare for it accordingly.

❌Sisters, don’t be deceived. A woman’s biological clock ticks faster than a man’s — and time doesn’t wait.❌

Modern society has sold women a lie: "You don’t need a man. Chase your career. Marriage and children can wait."
By the time many wake up, they’re deep into their 30s — successful, maybe — but alone, unprepared for family life, unfamiliar with homemaking, and without the tools to nurture a husband or raise children.

Suddenly, the silence hits. The empty house. The empty bed. No “I love you.” No child calling her “Mama.” No legacy.
They start looking — for meaning, for love, for purpose. But time is not on their side.
They’re now in competition with younger women raised with traditional values — or older women (divorced or widow) who’ve learned, through pain how to raise kids, take care of an household and family and learned that beauty and ambition are not everything.

💔 The Fantasy That Broke Them
Many sisters grow up fantasizing about love — not based on truth or deen — but on Disney fairytales and social media filters.
They want a “prince charming” who brings roses, plans magical proposals, and writes poetry under the stars — but they ignore the prophetic model of manhood.

They search for feelings... not qualities. They reject men who are simple, God-fearing, hard-working — men who would actually lead, protect, and honor them.
They chase butterflies and sparks, but forget to ask:

Does he pray Fajr in the masjid?
Does he lower his gaze?
Is he responsible?
Is he emotionally stable, patient, generous, and protective of his deen?

📜 The Prophet ﷺ didn’t teach us to look for a man with six-pack abs and a perfect Instagram profile —
He said:

“If someone with good character and deen comes to you [for marriage], marry him.” (Tirmidhi)

But the ummah raised a generation of sisters who confuse flirting with love, and attention with commitment.
They reject men who would lead them to Jannah, for boys who promise “forever” but can’t even commit to five daily prayers.

🤦 And then it dawns on them — the brutal truth:
They’ve been lied to.
❌By the media.
❌By the education system.
❌By their friends.
❌By a culture that pushed them away from what truly matters.

🛡 Sisters, understand this:
A devoted wife and loving mother is stronger, more resilient, more honored, and more fulfilled than any woman chasing promotions and paychecks.
40 hours in an office will never compare to the reward of raising righteous children and building a home filled with love — a living sadaqah jariyah that echoes into eternity.

✨ Return to the Sunnah.
✨ Redefine your standards by the Book of Allah and the example of His Messenger ﷺ.
✨ Don’t wake up too late.

Time is not on your side. But Allah still is — if you turn back now.
