“Bring back femininity…”
Not the fake softness that folds for the dunya—
But the real kind:
Gentle in speech, firm in faith,
Honoring her Lord by knowing her worth.

Allaah said:
“And stay in your homes and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance…”
— [Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:33]

Modesty is beauty.
Obedience to Allaah is power.
Femininity isn’t lost—it’s just been buried under pride. Let’s bring it back.

One of the biggest signs you've chosen the right spouse isn't that life becomes easier. It's that difficult seasons become easier to survive because you're facing them together.

🌹A Woman's Obedience to her Husband is A Reason for her to Enter Paradise 💐

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"If a woman prays her five (daily prayers), fasts her month (Ramadan), guards her chastity, and obeys her husband, she may enter by whichever of the gates of Paradise she wishes."

Seeking marriage looks stressful if you are yet to find a suitable partner. It can be challenging for many reasons. But the major obstacle is you. Have you discovered yourself? The delay can be caused by physical, emotional, spiritual, geographical or economical reasons.

Before you complain about the difficulty, work on yourself. Prayer and sincere efforts can open your doors to avaliable suitors. Do not quit until you achieve it. But what happens after finding a brother or sister, it is either you follow proper processes or get carried away, still, you are to be held responsible.

For those seeking marriage, it is often helpful to focus on faith, character, emotional maturity, compatibility, and shared life goals rather than superficial qualities alone. Careful background checks, family involvement where appropriate, and premarital counseling can also help identify a suitable partner.

Why Is the Blood Money [Diyah, دية] for Women Half That of Men in Islamic Law?

Imam al-Shāfiʿī رحمه الله wrote in '𝘈𝘭-𝘜𝘮𝘮', (6/106):
قال الإمام الشافعي في كتابه "الأم" (6\ 106): «لم أعلم مخالفاً من أهل العلم –قديماً ولا حديثاً– في أن دية المرأة نصف دية الرجل».
"𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿, 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗻."

According to the classical consensus of Muslim jurists, in cases of accidental killing, the prescribed compensation (diyah) is:

Man: 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘀 🐪🐪
Woman: 𝟱𝟬 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘀 🐪

Does this mean a woman’s blood is cheaper and her life is worth less than a man's?

The answer is 𝗻𝗼.

This ruling concerns 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵.

The male and female are the same in the sight of God, the Diya (bloodmoney) is simply a financial compensation for the damage caused in worldly life.

The 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 of the family, when he falls, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, as his 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿, so his wife and family get a 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀, the emotional impact is equally, if not more davastating, but 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀, because the main provider [the man] is still alive, so he gets a 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

This is absolutely fair and makes 100% sense.

The dead person does not take the blood money with them to the grave, it goes to the living relatives to manage their lives.

And if you think about it:

- When a wife (female) dies, her 𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱 (𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲) and family 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝟱𝟬 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘀.

- When a husband (male) dies, his 𝘄𝗶𝗳𝗲 (𝗳𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲) and family 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘀.

If anything, it should be the men who create an uproar, because men receive less compensation than women!

✍️ Pride ruins marriage!!
“Whoever humbles himself for the sake of Allah, Allah will raise him.”
— (Sahih Muslim)
In love, pride builds walls, but humility builds a home. The heart that chooses softness over ego will never lose—because Allaah lifts what lowers itself for Him.
Real love is not about pride—it is about gentleness, patience, and character. The one who lowers their ego for the sake of peace is not weak; they are elevated in the sight of Allah.

Pride will make you lose someone who truly loves you, just to prove a point that never really mattered.
In love, it’s not about who is right—it’s about who is willing to stay, understand, and soften their heart.
Or something a bit deeper:
Love survives on humility, not ego.
In love, this means: refusing to apologize, needing to always be right, or withholding affection just to feel in control—these are not strength. They are barriers to mercy.
The moment pride becomes louder than care, even the strongest feelings begin to fade. Sometimes, the real strength in love is choosing to lower your guard, not raise it.

When a woman feels safe, supported, and deeply loved, her body responds in powerful ways.

Emotional security helps calm the nervous system, lowering stress hormones like cortisol that drive inflammation and weaken immunity.

Over time, this healthier internal environment can influence gene expression, improve immune function, and support overall healing.

Love isn’t just an emotion, it’s a biological signal that the body is safe enough to repair, regulate, and thrive.

A woman can destroy her marriage without ever cheating.

Constant disrespect. Emotional manipulation. Playing victim. Never taking accountability. She thinks "cheating" is the only way to kill it. No, she killed it a long time ago.

"You're not a real man." She said it in front of the kids. Rolls her eyes when he talks. Talks over him when he leads. Cries to win. Silent treatment to punish him. Uses sex as leverage. Uses tears as a weapon.

"If you loved me, you would...."
"You always..." "You never..."
She keeps score. She never keeps promises.

She thinks she won every argument. But he's just done. He looks at her and feels nothing. No love. No hate. Nothing.

Then one day, he packs his bags. No warning. No begging. He just leaves.

*MODESTY*

The clothing of a woman depicts her upbringing by her father, the sense of honour (ghayrah) of her brother, the manliness of her husband, her keenness to emulate her mother and above all, her conciousness of Allah watching her.

This is why they said to Maryam (RA):

_O sister of Haaroon, your father was not an evil man and your mother was not a loose woman._ (Quran )

They reminded her of her brother, father and mother. If these people are upright, she will also be upright.

A pious person said, "Revealing clothes on a woman is a sign that Allah is angry with her, as He removed the clothing of Adam and Hawwaa (as) when He was displeased with them."

A young girl says, "When I see a young female exposing and revealing herself, I look at her parents and think of the verse:

_Stop them, indeed they will be questioned_. This causes me to have even more modesty so that my mother should not be questioned."

Most of that which Allah made impermissible in this world will be allowed in Jannah, e.g. wine. One thing that is not allowed here and there is nakedness.

In fact, a great bounty [of Jannah] is to be properly covered. Describing Jannah, Allah says:

_You will not be hungry in it [Jannah] nor will you be unclothed_

One of the most beautiful messages I have read on modesty.

"I will divorce you"
"I will marry another wife"
"I will chase you out of MY house"
"I will deal with you"
Unfortunately, many of us know the above statements in marriage because we have either issued them as threats or received them.
It may feel effective but if this is the way you try to resolve issues, understand that it's a matter of time before your spouse begins to get used to it and then plan for it.
A lot of times, the person you are issuing threats to about another wife is already in an affair, planning to leave you.
The person you are threatening about getting thrown out of the house, is already furnishing another house somewhere soon to be ready.
The list goes on.
Someday, you'd issue the threat and have it thrown back in your face because at that point, it would no longer be potent.
If there are issues you want resolved, address them but if your default mode is to issue threats, you are helping to teach your spouse how to cope without you, and that is not a threat.

YOU, YOUR WEALTH BELONGS TO YOUR FATHER"

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah (radiAllahuanhu) that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have wealth and a son, and my father wants to take all my wealth." He said: "You and your wealth belongs to your father." [Sunan Ibn Majah 2291 & Musnad Aḥmad].

Commentary:

A man came to the Prophet and said, ‘O Messenger of Allāh ﷺ , my father wants to take my wealth.’ The Prophet ﷺ replied, ‘you and your wealth are for your father’.

There are 5 conditions which permits a father utilising some of the wealth of his son:

1. He has a need to utilise some of the wealth, and only takes according to his need. There should be no harm upon the son.

2. The wealth should be surplus to the needs of the son. For example, if the son requires his car to earn a living and going to work, it is not permitted for the father cannot take it for himself.

3. The father taking the wealth does not prevent the son fulfilling rights of others, such as spending upon his mother, or maintaining his wife and children.

4. The father is not being wasteful with the money, or comitting harām such as gambling.

5. The father cannot take wealth off one son, in order to give it to another son/child, as this is favouritism between children and oppression.

This Ḥadīth also shows the immense right of parents over their children, and that these rights do not cease as soon as a child leaves their parental home or becomes independant.

The correct meaning of this Ḥadīth is that ‘…your wealth [can be utilised] by your father’ and not ‘…[belong] to your father’. [Refer to Nayl al-Awtār by ash-Shawkāni Vol. 6 P. 17]

This Ḥadīth does not give the father complete ownership of the son’s wealth, rather it permits him to take some of it for a need. The son must still give its Zakāh, as well as it being his inheritance for others.

Related Āyāt:

{Worship Allāh, associate nothing with Him, and be good to your parents} [Al Qurʾān 4:36]

{Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and be good to your parents} [Al Qurʾān 17:23]

{And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, “My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.”} [Al Qurʾān 17:24]

Related narrations:

The Prophet ﷺ said, ‘The father is the middle of the gates of Paradise, so keep to this gate or lose it.’ [At-Tirmidhī]

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ asking permission to wage jihad. The Prophet ﷺ said, ‘are your parents alive?’ The man replied, ‘yes’. The Prophet ﷺ said, ‘Then strive in the service of them both.’ [Al-Bukhārī & Muslim].

A righteous wife can be one of the greatest blessings Allah gives to a man.

When a husband comes home to respect instead of constant criticism, encouragement instead of humiliation, and mercy instead of harshness, his heart finds tranquillity.

The Prophet ﷺ spoke highly of the righteous woman, describing her as one of the best treasures of this world. Her good character, loyalty, and support become a source of strength for her husband in both his dunya and akhirah.

Just as Islam commands men to treat their wives with kindness, it also encourages women to honour and respect their husbands.

A peaceful marriage is not built by one righteous spouse and one demanding spouse. It is built by two believers who fear Allah, overlook faults, show mercy, and help each other reach Jannah.

A good husband can influence his wife for the better, and a righteous wife can influence her husband for the better. Both are garments for one another, protecting, covering, and beautifying each other for the sake of Allah.

The Reality of Marriage Nobody Likes to Talk About

Marriage will test you.

It will test your patience.

It will test your communication.

It will test your ego.

It will test your finances.

It will test your ability to forgive.

It will test your ability to understand... and be understood.

Most importantly, it will test your relationship with Allah.

Many people prepare more for the wedding than for the marriage.

Social media hasn't made it any easier. We constantly see picture-perfect marriages, romantic gestures, and smiling couples, making it seem as though a happy marriage is one without hardship.

But that isn't reality.

Marriage is between two imperfect people trying to build one life together.

It isn't about being happy every single day. It's about having someone to share both the beautiful moments and the difficult ones with, knowing that every season is a test from Allah and, by His permission, it will pass.

The difficult days don't always mean you married the wrong person. Life itself is a test, and marriage is one of the places where those tests become visible.

That's why choosing a good spouse is so important. A good spouse won't remove every hardship, but they'll help you carry it with patience, mercy, respect, and remembrance of Allah.

So don't only prioritize finding a good spouse.

Prioritize becoming one too.

Because expectations and reality are rarely the same.

The real success in marriage isn't avoiding tests—it's choosing the right person to face them with, in both ease and hardship.

Marriage is not the beautiful love story most couples sell on social media.

You see the filtered photos, romantic vacations, cute couple goals captions, and “my forever” posts. But behind the scenes, many of those same couples are fighting silently, sleeping in separate rooms, struggling with dead bedroom , constant disrespect, and growing resentment. They only pretend to be ok for the camera but after that its war as usual.

Real marriage is messy. It’s choosing to stay when you feel like you should leave. It’s staying together when the spark fades. It’s holding frame when she tests you daily. It’s paying bills, raising kids, and still finding a way to keep polarity alive even when life gets boring and hard.

Social media shows you 1% of the story the highlight reel. The other 99% is two imperfect people trying not to destroy each other while building something real.

Don’t fall for the illusion. Marriage is tough work, not endless romance. Prepare for reality, not the fantasy they’re selling.
