Some wives are waiting for their husbands to become more romantic.

Some husbands are waiting for their wives to become more affectionate.

Both are sitting there waiting.

Nobody makes the moves, no one wants to try

Then both complain:

"My spouse has changed."

Sometimes the marriage doesn't need a miracle.

It needs somebody to make the first move.

Sister, why is "Khadijah was a businesswoman” the only thing you remember about her?

You forget that she was:
• A righteous woman with modesty
• A woman with noble manners.
• She was a wonderful mother.
• A loving wife.
• She obeyed her husband.
• She had no trouble following him.
• She was his biggest supporter.
• She suffered hardship after hardship, but remained faithful to her dīn and to her husband.
• She made her home righteous!

Next time you mention Khadijah bint Khuwaylid radiallahu ‘anha, try to mention these qualities and characteristics as well.

Dear sister in Islaam,

If you still have your virginity intact, keep it for your prospective husband; don't bend to any peer pressure or societal bashing by people who claim virginity isn't dignifying.
Chastity and modesty carry a lot of dignity; don't let anyone make you think otherwise.

Be chaste like Maryam the daughter of Imran, the mother of Prophet 'Eesa, the only woman to whom Allâh ﷻ dedicated a whole verse for in the only Qur'an, the mothers of the believers are meant to be your role model, not celebrities and influencer who share negative mentalities, nudity, excessive love for worldly things, promiscuity, lack of modesty, feminist ideologies that goes against the tenets of Islaam, there's nothing in this world that protect the rights of women and raise their rank than Islaam, read Suratul Maryam and Surah An-Nisâ, you'll certainly learn a lot.

What Goes Around Comes Around

A couple were once seated for meals. Suddenly a knock was heard at the door from a beggar standing outside. The husband in a fit of rage approached the beggar, scolded him and chased him away. As time passed it so happened that this wealthy man became poor. He lost his entire empire and eventually even ended up divorcing his wife.

Life continued. She remarried and now was seated for meals with her new husband. Again a knock was heard at the door from a beggar. Her husband told her: “Take this food which was prepared for us and give it to the beggar outside.” She did as he instructed her but she returned crying. She replied: “The beggar outside was my previous husband.” Then she related to him the entire incident which transpired between her previous husband and his abuse to that beggar. Her new husband then told her: “By the qasm of Allah, I am that very same beggar.” (Al Mustatraf vol 1 pg 24)

Lesson: If you have been blessed with prosperity and ease, never regard it as your achievement. Also, do not look down upon those who are less fortunate or treat them with pride and arrogance. Instead, be humble and grateful to Allah Ta’ala and treat His creation with compassion and kindness. Otherwise, the tables could turn

“Keep this in mind: You are not marrying the wedding, you are marrying the husband or wife. While the wedding might seem very important to you, what matters is life after the wedding. The wedding is only a few hours, so be smart when spending your money. The spouse is long term, so make sure that is where you are spending your time wisely.”

Is your Spouse Afflicted, Suffering from Magic Jinn Possession!?

#Ruqyah and #Sabr – Shaykh Taamir Fatooh (May Allah Preserve Him Upon Good).

Question: - A man’s wife is under the opinion that her husband is possessed by a Jinn. He leaves his home and doesn’t return for days. He doesn’t sleep with his wife and is constantly angry. However, he does not want to sit with a Shaykh or Raaqin (one who is proficient in Ruqyah (casting spells or exorcism, legislated by Islaam). What is a wife to do in this situation? They also have children, who are afraid of him. By Allah, what do you advise shaykh?

Answer: - It is upon her to establish Sabr (Patience) and to study Ruqyah. She must learn and understand this for herself. She must learn how to apply Ruqyah upon herself. She must learn how to perform Ruqyah upon her husband, if he does not want to sit with anyone. He doesn’t want to sit with a Raaqin, nor a Shaykh. However, it is necessary that she studies Ruqyah and memorizes the Aayaat from the Qur’aan which are used for Ruqyah. Such as Aayah 102, from Suratul-Baqarah. As well as Aayatul-Kursiyy. It is upon her that she performs Ruqyah by using these 2 Aayah. As well as Mu’awwidhatayn (Suratul-Falaq and Suratun-Naas) and Suratul-Faatihah. She read these Aayaat upon her husband in abundance. She must supplicate to Allah before everything; that He removes this evil. She must establish Sabr in regards to this affair, because these affairs take time. Indeed these affairs take time. She must continue upon this affair through its duration, in sickness and in health in regards to these affairs.

It is necessary that whoever performs the Ruqyah and whoever marries must establish Sabr in regards to these affairs. Do not cease, in Ruqyah nor in Du’aa’. And with all of these statements, I ask Allah for His forgiveness and I repent to Him

Translated by: Aboo Abdir-Rahmaan Abdur-Raqeeb.

One of the greatest blessings you can be blessed with in life isn’t a house, wealth, or status. It’s the right life partner. A house can be bought. Wealth can be earned. Status can be built. But a sincere, mature spouse who honours you in your presence, protects you in your absence, and gives you security instead of anxiety is a blessing money cannot buy. So ask Allah for the right person. And when He blesses you with them, cherish them. Because the right spouse is a blessing all the wealth in the world could never buy.

Love is for the Sake of Allah

Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymin رحمه الله stated:

Those who love each other for the sake of Allah will not be broken apart by worldly affairs.

They love each other for the sake of Allah and nothing will come between them except for death.

Even if they wrong one another or fall short with regards to each others rights, it will not affect them.

Marriage is partnership, not dependency; you'll never get 100% from anyone, nor will you get everything you want in this life, cos this life isn't Paradise.

Be realistic concerning your wants and needs in life; don't be delusional

Ways to Keep Your Husband's Love ❤

1. Behave like a female, i.e. all the tenderness of a female--a man doesn’t want a man for his wife.

2. Dress pleasantly/attractively. If you are a home-maker, don’t stay in your sleeping suit all day.

3. Don’t lay out all your problems on your husband as soon as he walks in. Give him a little mental break.

4. Don’t keep asking him, “what are you thinking?”

5. Be kind to your mother-in-law the same way you would like your husband to be kind to your own mother.

6. Keep your house clean, at least to the level that he wants it.

7. If he’s angry with you and starts yelling, let him yell it out while you’re quiet. You will see your fight will end a lot faster. Then when he’s calm, you can tell him your side of the story and how you wanthim to change something.

8. The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.

9. Look attractive and be seductive towards him. Flirt with him.

10. Don't ever compare your husbands to other husbands! For example don't say, "well her husband doesn't do that, why do you" (thats a killer!)

11. Wake him up for Qiyam ul-Layl (in the last third of the night) and ask him to pray with you.

May Allâh subhanahu wa ta’ala preserve all of our marriages and help us understand and implement them in and with the best of manners. Ameen

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲.

A husband made his wife cry. One day, she looked at him as he lovingly played with their little daughter and softly asked:

“What would you do if one day a man married her... and made her cry?”

Without hesitation, he replied:

“I would kill him. She is my beloved daughter.”

With tears filling her eyes, she quietly said:

“I, too, have a father who loves me.”

────── .✦ ──────

Never forget this.

Before she became your wife, she was someone's precious daughter. She was loved, protected, prayed for, and cherished by her parents. They entrusted her to you, hoping you would honor, protect, and care for her, not become the reason for her tears.

The tears you cause your wife do not stop with her. They reach the hearts of those who raised her with love.

So fear Allah regarding your wives.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

Treat women kindly.

[متفق عليه]

And he ﷺ also said:

The best of you are those who are best to their wives, and I am the best of you to my wives.

[جامع الترمذي (٣٨٩٥)]

A righteous man is not the one who is gentle only with strangers, but the one who is gentle with the woman who shares his home and has placed her trust in him.

Be the reason she thanks Allah for marrying you, not the reason she cries to Allah because of you.

“I’m Not Going to Marry a Divorced Woman”

A lot of women divorced for soo many reasons, sometimes the only way to save their life and that of their children (if any) is to divorce and that does not mean they are bad. l remember a conversation I had with a brother ,He was looking for a wife but “despairing” at the women he was being introduced to. “Why? What’s wrong with them?” I asked, “Most of them are divorced!” he exclaimed with a disgusted shudder.

So today, I just want to get it out there and talk about this issue because this really is becoming a widespread problem. And, no, I don’t mean divorce, I mean the narrow-minded, judgmental and just plain arrogant way our community treats its female divorcees.

I have spoken to sisters who have been told not to mention their divorced status to potential suitors. I have also met countless sisters who have been rejected or just plain overlooked because they have been married before.

What is it our men — and their families — are so afraid of when it comes to marrying a divorcee?

Is it the old time assumption that she is somehow a “bad woman”, because she “allowed” her marriage to fail? (Let’s face it, it’s always assumed to be the woman’s fault). Is it the fear that she has had experience of marriage and is now more clued up and less likely to be coerced?

Is it the idea that she’s slept with another man already and this kills your pride? Or do you feel that your sperm, DNA and family bloodline are so precious that you cannot possibly have a hand in the upbringing of a child who is not your own?

The worst part is that we are allowing, and even perpetuating, this cruel notion that a divorced woman is a not desirable spouse. And yes I know that Men are divorced too but let’s not be naive here. We all know about the good old double standards. If he’s a guy with a good job, his own home and a car this overrides any possible prejudice faced over his divorced status. Add to this the fact that his children probably live with his ex wife, suddenly he’s a great catch.

The saddest part is that a lot of these guys who are rejecting divorcees purely on the basis of their divorced status are proud to say that they follow the sunnah of Rosullu llah salla llahu alaihi wasallam

They will happily grow a beard, they will eat with their right hand, they will put their right shoe on first and all the other parts of the sunnah they feel comfortable to follow. But talk about them marrying a woman who has been married before and suddenly they are above the example of the Prophet (saw)!

The divorced woman is not naive or high maintenance, she knows what marriage is about and her expectations of it are real. She is not after your money or assets, she probably has her own. And she has had experience at dealing with conflict and has learnt many valuable lessons from her previous marriage.

A divorced sister is only divorced from her husband not from the entire ummah so let’s end this now! And she need not to lower her standards or worth because she is a divorcee.

You left the marriage because he married a second wife, saying he betrayed you. But you ended up being a third wife to another man, so have you betrayed yourself too? Take it easy my sister...

Sisters in Islaam, you need to detox.

You need to unlearn the toxic and damaging messages we've been programmed to believe by feminism. Here is the truth that we need to replace the lies with:

1. Men and women are not natural enemies. We are أولياء (awliyaa') for one another.

2. You are a woman, not a man. This is not an insult.

3. Your femininity is your superpower. Don't smother it.

4. Masculine men like feminine women. Feminine women like masculine men. Don't be androgynous.

5. You need a man. (Just as men need women.)

6. Men are not trash.

7. You cannot do everything a man can do. (And neither can a man do everything a woman can do.)

8. Men and women have very different, but complementary, roles. This is a good thing. It's called gender roles.

9. Do not be a modern woman of the "strong, independent" variety. Be a traditional woman.

10. Men and women don't need to compete with one another. We complete one another.

11. Marriage is important. The family is important.

12. Being a homemaker is an amazing and important job.

13. Motherhood is important. Raising children is not just crucial work, but also incredibly empowering. You are molding the next generation of humans. What more power do you want?

14. Don't choose career over family. Choose being a wife and mother over being a corporate slave.

15. Show your husband respect and love, in that order. (He will show you love and respect, in that order.)

16. As a wife, you are not in charge. Neither are you your husband's "partner." You certainly give your input, but your husband has headship.

17. Marriage is not a 50-50 egalitarian partnership of two leaders. Your husband is the leader. Sit back and enjoy it.

18. Having contempt for your man is the fastest way to break down a relationship. Don't sabotage your own marriage.

19. Trust your husband (if he is an upright, strong Muslim who has taqwa). He's not out to get you.

20. The patriarchy is not the root of all evil. The Islamic paradigm places the man as قوام, qawwam, and مسؤول, responsible or held accountable, on the level of nation, society, and family. This is not to harm women, but to benefit and protect them.

Don't follow the "advice" of feminists on love, men, relationships, marriage, family, motherhood, or really anything. You will be sacrificing your own happiness and serenity. And it's all lies.

Beware of ‘ayn (evil eye) on your nikkah process

“It was recommended by some scholars to hide one’s engagement, out of fear of the envious ones who will strive to corrupt the relationship between the man and the family of the woman.”

📚حاشية العدوي على شرح مختصر خليل 3/167When a man talks romantically about his girlfriend or a lady, her boyfriend
People: awwwn, true love!

When a husband/wife talks romantically about their spouse
People: show off! Be mindful of the evil eye! It may not even be true!

There is something fundamentally wrong with our cultural perception of marriage. People seem to be more comfortable with gloomy and gory pictures of marriage than one that is filled with love, romance, and happiness.

But we will change the narrative in shaa Allāh; may Allāh protect for us our marriages and purify our intentions.
