RT @TheStudyofWar: NEW: #Russian state media released and later retracted reports about the "regrouping" of Russian forces on the east (left) bank of #Kherson Oblast to positions further east of the #Dnipro River, suggesting that the Russian command and/or Russian state media apparatus has failed to establish a coordinated information line for the Russian response to ongoing #Ukrainian ground operations on the east bank.

NEW: Ukrainian officials stated that Ukrainian forces have established bridgeheads on the east (left) bank of #Kherson Obl. & are conducting ground operations aimed at pushing Russian forces out of artillery range of the west bank of the Dnipro River. 🧵⬇️

RT @Tendar: Based on Magyar's latest footage we can assume that at some point and possibly even at this moment Ukrainian forces have widened their hold on the left (South) side of the Dnipro River. The Russian attempt to dislodge Ukrainian troops at this particular area in the east failed. #Ukraine #Kherson #Krynky

RT @TheStudyofWar: Southern #Ukraine:

Ukrainian forces maintained positions and reportedly attacked in the east (left) bank of #Kherson on Nov. 28.

Russian milbloggers claimed that Russian forces continued efforts to dislodge Ukrainian forces from “firmly entrenched” positions in the east bank.

NEW: Russian President Vladimir #Putin reiterated a two-part conception of Russian identity in a speech on November 28: a “Russian nation” – claimed to include Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians – at the center of Russian identity; and a wider “Russian world” including other non-East Slavic ethnicities in both modern #Russia and the former territory of the Soviet Union and Russian Empire.

RT @Podolyak_M: Russian attack on #Odesa on March 6th, when a missile struck a few hundred meters from the motorcade of Volodymyr #Zelenskyy and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos #Mitsotakis, became a major news story in the media worldwide. Because #RF is openly demonstrating its readiness for escalation and a total rejection of any rules. And this is obvious. And it requires appropriate responses from the global community...

And here's what, unfortunately, did not make the news in the world media:

March 6th – a missile attack on #Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, damaged 11 high-rise buildings, 3 private and 3 administrative buildings; "#Shahed" attacked #Sumy, 7 wounded due to attacks on residential buildings; Iskander strike on #Borova, Kharkiv region – 1 killed, 4 wounded;

March 5th – Russian artillery shelled #Kherson, 2 wounded;

March 4th – #Dnipro, #Liptsi in Kharkiv region, ##Kurakhove, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, #Kramatorsk district in Donetsk region, and #Rozhdestvanka in Zaporizhzhia region were attacked with missiles, bombs, and artillery – 3 dead, 26 wounded.

These were just three days in the life of #Ukraine. This is how Ukraine has been living for over two years. For 742 consecutive days, #Russia has been killing every day and every night. It kills deliberately, intentionally, terroristically, genocidally. The world has systems to protect from such attacks. They should be installed where they are most needed. And we must finally fully understand that murderers are not being talked to, they are not invited to the Security Council and not participating in the Olympic Games. They are punished. Definitely punished…

RT @JaneLytv: One of the first known deaths during the Melania Trump and Pope Leo-brokered ceasefire is a soldier who was instrumental to getting images out of Oleshky, the Russia-occupied starving city.

🕯️ Ukrainian serviceman Volodymyr Obertas, who served in the communications unit of the 34th Separate Marine Brigade “Borysfen” and filmed drone footage showing the destruction in the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky, has been killed in Kherson, Suspilne reports.

Yevhen Voronetskyi, head of the communications unit of the Borysfen brigade, said that on October 27, Volodymyr Obertas was working in central #Kherson, accompanying a group of journalists who had arrived to film the city during a period of calm.

While looking for a suitable camera angle, he stepped on an unidentified explosive device. The device detonated, leaving him with severe injuries. He later died in hospital.

Volodymyr Obertas was a videographer and video editor by profession. He transferred from a combat position to the brigade’s communications unit. He was due to be promoted to the rank of senior lieutenant soon.

Dmytro Voronov, the former mayor of #Oleshky, wrote on his Facebook page that before joining the military, Volodymyr Obertas was a well-known photographer and cameraman. He worked at celebrations in kindergartens and schools, as well as at weddings and public events.

Detector Media extends its sincere condolences to Volodymyr Obertas’s family, loved ones, and colleagues.
