🗣 More information: This lecture introduces, analyzes, and designs secure quantum optical communication networks based on wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) technology. The first part presents the fundamental principles of quantum physics, key concepts of quantum key distribution, and the layered structure of quantum communication networks based on international standards.Then, the role of WDM technology in increasing capacity, multi-user, and coexistence of classical and quantum signals is discussed.
