🇮🇷Ahead of the presidential and Islamic city council #elections , a group of people from various backgrounds met with #Ayatollah_Khamenei yesterday morning May 17, 2017.

🇮🇷In this meeting, the Leader of the Revolution invited the nation to appreciate the #peace and #security Iran enjoys during the week of elections. He said: Look at the countries of the region, where can you find a place where there is no insecurity? Among this insecure collection of countries, the Islamic Republic of Iran is busy preparing for elections in peace and security.

‍ 🌻 #Ayatollah_Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, issued a message on January 02, 1995 for the auspicious birth anniversary of #Jesus Christ (pbuh).
The full text of the message is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I congratulate all Christians and Muslims —particularly our Christian compatriots—on the birth anniversary of His Majesty Jesus Christ, the great prophet, as well as the commencement of the new Gregorian year.
This chosen prophet of God, invited mankind to the path of God, which is the path to mankind’s prosperity and happiness; he warned them against pursuing their evil desires, contaminating the purity of the human soul into depravity, cruelty and wantonness. Tyrannical, corrupt and aggressive powers--who were the slaves of wealth and power--strained and slandered this divine messenger and intended to take his life ; then God embraced him safely and securely. They horribly tortured his apostles and adherents, for years, in order to destroy his teachings which were against corruption, oppression, idolatry, dissoluteness, warmongering and deceiving the public. They--who were themselves corrupt, oppressive, dissolute, warmongers and deceived people—could not tolerate God’s religion, God’s prophet, and the followers of the divine path.

Today powers of the same type do not want to tolerate those who submit to God, follow God’s religion, and followers of truth. To obey Jesus Christ (pbuh), one needs to support truth and abhor the powers that are against truth. It is hoped that #Christians and #Muslims across the world will incorporate this great teaching of #Jesus Christ (pbuh) into their lives and actions.
I ask God to make the New Year a year of prosperity for all nations and the entire mankind.
Sayyed Ali Khamenei,
January 02, 1995

♻️ Malcolm X (1925–1965) was an African-American Muslim minister and human rights activist. To his admirers he was a courageous advocate for the rights of blacks, a man who indicted white America in the harshest terms for its crimes against black Americans; detractors accused him of preaching racism and violence. He has been called one of the greatest and most influential African Americans in history. ♻️

▪️Zeinab al-Kubra (s.a.) is a prominent role model in history and shows the significance of a woman's presence in one of the most important events in human history. Blood gained a victory over the sword on the day of Ashura, and Zeinab al-Kubra (s.a.) was the cause of that victory. This was because the forces of righteousness were apparently defeated in a military fight in Karbala, but Zeinab al-Kubra's (s.a.) behavior was the factor that turned this apparent defeat into a permanent and decisive victory.

🌹#Hazrat_Khadija (pbuh) submitted to #Islam upon the very first days in which Islam came into existence; she made the greatest efforts as a perfect, wise and magnanimous #woman. Therefore, she is distinguished as the first #believer of Islam.

🍃 Eventually, she spent all her #wealth on inviting people to Islam and promoting the #religion.

🌹The significance of #Khadija ’s role can only be understood by those who have experienced the responsibility of contributing aid, to fighters, during times of conflict and repression. Had it not been for the financial assistance Hazrat Khadija (peace be upon her) offered, Islam’s movement and progress might have faced major impediments.

🍃 Later Khadija, Prophet #Muhammad (pbuh) and his Muslim followers migrated, by force, to the Shib Abi Talib (Abi Talib Valley); it was here that she endured an arduous and exhausting life, for a few short years; finally, she passed away while in exile and under boycott.
