✍ Sheikh Adel Al-Kalbani, the Wahhabi Mufti who until recently considered Shia Muslims as infidels and deemed their bloodshed permissible, is now scrambling to provide religious justification for bin Salman's actions at #Mousom_AlRiyadh.
🔹 He claims that singing and music existed during the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and that certain musical instruments, like the "Mazhar" (oud), were well-known.
🔸 He also cites a hadith from Aisha in Sahih Bukhari, in which the Prophet approved of two young girls singing and even gifted them.
🔹 He continues, stating there is no definitive evidence in the Quran that music is haram, and the term "lahw al-hadith," which is sometimes interpreted as referring to music, was not directly linked to music by major scholars like Qatadah.
🔸 He concludes by stressing that we should not insist on the prohibition of music and singing without clear evidence.
